06/04/2025: A very pleasant discovery in the heart of Pisa! La Buca welcomed us with a warm atmosphere and truly kind and attentive staff, who were able to make us feel pampered from the first moment. The aperitif was a real delight: tasty, with attention to the smallest details and served with a smile. So much so that, enthusiastic about the experience, my friends and I decided to return for dinner too... a great choice! The meat was fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection. A restaurant that combines quality, courtesy and attention: highly recommended!

04/04/2025: It was an excellent experience! Prices may be a little higher compared to local places, but it definitely pays off. The pizza was really delicious – it was a true Italian classic, especially with its thick and crispy edges and quality ingredients. The beer that came with it was also very nice. The restaurant is quite decent, I sat outside and although it was around 16 degrees, I didn't feel cold thanks to the heaters. The view was great – the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa is visible right behind the pizza hut, and the evening lights add further joy to the environment. The waiters were very polite and attentive, the service quality was high. It was a very enjoyable place in terms of ambience, taste and service. I recommend!

09/11/2024: They had a menu posted, when we had to order they told us it was the evening menu, truffle crostini that didn't even smell like truffles, in short, ordinary food

15/10/2024: We stayed overnight in the hotel, the restaurant was closing when we stayed. Excellent rooms, excellent varied sweet and savory breakfast. Nice environment with swimming pool.

05/09/2024: We decide to go and eat in this place via the fork, the food is good but nothing special, high prices for the dishes offered, but the real flaw is the staff, really rude, with the exception of one waiter! The one who seemed to be the owner, a really terrible person, who only for having canceled and then immediately rebooked the table via the App (because we didn't know if we would have made it in time to arrive), upon our arrival repeatedly underlined and made fun of about the incident and at the time of the bill he told us that he could not confirm the booking via the fork, not allowing us to enjoy the advantages of the completed booking. The receipt also presented a summary bill without the specification of each dish ordered, zero attention for the customer and zero honesty and transparency! I strongly advise against it! There are many good places in the area, go elsewhere!

02/12/2024: Nightmare dinner entitled "abandoned in the outdoor area", there are nine of us friends, we show up (after having booked) at 8.45pm, they put us in an outdoor area (they didn't warn us when booking) where the two mushrooms barely warm us up... ( PS in their indoor outdoor area they say that you can smoke in the face of the Sircana law). Anyway hungry after waiting 30 minutes... at 9.15pm we order starter, first course and some side dishes. Small aside, there is NO wine list and two of us had to get up and go inside the restaurant to choose the wine and ask the prices! (But where are we? Jokes aside?). We are finally served the appetizer at 10.10pm.... (an interminable 55 minutes in the cold and hungry) I personally ask for bread 3 times (since the only bag of bread had been devoured while waiting) they finally bring it to me after a long time I wait and I can eat the appetizer. The first arrives at 10.51pm... (now angry at the indecent service we start telling the waiters who always reply... It arrives immediately! Immediately what?! Dunno..) shortly after they bring us the side dish and despite the request for a change dish, we were not listened to by the waiters and one of us had to go and get the dishes and bring them to the table!!! Unacceptable!! Bill €365 (after pointing out the indecent service, the lady said she didn't charge us for the side dishes) issued with a receipt-like piece of paper but which, if you read carefully, is a management document. Receipt subsequently duly beaten. What can I say, maybe the food could have been decent, but the ABSOLUTE ZERO service and the cold made us have a MAD evening.....

22/02/2025: Ci siamo trovati in occasione del carnevale di Viareggio a mangiare in questo locale, nonostante il locale fosse pieno e non avevo prenotato ci hanno gentilmente fatto accomodare e nel giro di un ora abbiamo mangiato antipasto, primo e dolce con caffè, efficentissimi, cibo top e prezzi più che onesti, tutto questo ci ha portato a ripresentarci per cena con lo stesso trattamento, peccato abitare distante altrimenti ci tornerei ogni settimana.

08/12/2024: restaurant with home-made cuisine without infamy or praise, fast and efficient service, the only sore point is the prices which are increased by 2/3 euros compared to the website which at this point I recommend updating. I will definitely not go back

06/02/2025: Congratulations, there were 3 of us for lunch today, we ate very well. The delicious cold cuts platter with "coccoli" (which we didn't know coming from Rome). I had the brie and truffle gnocchi and they were truly delicious! Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Well done!
