31/08/2025: A negative experience to say the least. The place was very nice, but it was incredible that, on an already sparse menu, most of the dishes we chose were no longer available. The appetizers were decent, but the entrees were tragic. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù was actually tagliatelle, overcooked, and served with stew rather than ragù; tagliolini with truffle, with the most flavorless truffle I've ever eaten. Slow service, dishes brought in batches; an experience not to be repeated.

30/08/2025: An osteria that aims to combine Maremma cuisine with Argentario seafood. It doesn't succeed in either. The charcuterie board is unremarkable; good but not refined. The sliced ​​steak was tough and flavorless, despite being rare. The grilled calamari...to be forgotten; it's obviously a frozen product served as if it were fresh. A real shame, because the service was good and all the ingredients for a good osteria were there...

31/07/2025: Cibo eccellente! Pizza davvero buona, ingredienti di altissima qualità. Personale assolutamente adorabile. Molto generosi nell’accoglienza. OTTIMO rapporto qualità prezzo. Venendo da Milano dove gli standard sono alti e anche i prezzi, abbiamo apprezzato enormemente tutto!

31/07/2025: Super experiencia! Pizza muy buena, buen ambiente, precio y calidad justos ( bien expuestos y sin sorpresas) personal muy gentil, en especial el dueño, una persona muy amable y atento. Seguramente regresaremos!

03/09/2025: Not recommended. We were at the beach today, September 3rd, and wanted to rent an umbrella for the afternoon (including two loungers). Firstly, there was no afternoon rate (we arrived at 2 p.m.), and the "supervisor" wanted a €25 daily fee for the umbrella (it's now off-season). At the beautiful Morcone beach next door, the umbrella costs €15! Then I paid with Visa, and we had small beach chairs for our two kids, which we weren't allowed to use. Then I wanted to cancel, and strangely enough, cancellation isn't possible with credit card payments. Conclusion: worst service on the entire island, too expensive, umbrellas packed too tightly, constantly being checked... Better to choose a different beach (next door) or even a different beach. A huge disappointment for us, and the first and last time.

28/09/2025: Excellent hospitality and service, a magnificent, culturally picturesque location. Fresh food, freshly prepared with professionalism and the majestic creativity of Chef Omar and the pastry chef for his desserts, masterfully craft stellar delicacies. The pictures speak for themselves.

30/09/2025: Friendly staff and delicious authentic food. We were helped by a very friendly lady. We had crostini with different toppings, truffle ravioli, bresaela and a special pasta with figs and nuts. All the food was very tasty. Grazie mille

21/09/2025: Good morning... I was visiting the town, so we decided to have lunch at this place. Service was slow... given the heat of the day, we waited too long for a glass of water. The first courses were good, the burgers were nothing special. Finally, there was even a mistake in the bill; I would never have dared to chase the customer into town. It made my son feel uncomfortable, and he didn't notice and wanted to buy us lunch. Mistakes can happen, but I didn't think being courteous was in good taste.

13/10/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant by chance, as I am a vegetarian they were very helpful in offering me alternatives to the fish menu, we ordered first courses and desserts, the food turned out to be excellent and of good quality, the location alone is worth the trip, we will definitely be back

28/09/2025: Excellent food with surprising combinations. We had fish tartare, spaghetti with squid ragu, local fish on pumpkin puree and porcini mushrooms, followed by dessert and grappa.

11/10/2025: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who described it as a simple yet authentic place, with generous portions and fair prices. Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite. The place is modest, a bit old-fashioned from the '70s and '80s, and we entered with the best of intentions. I even joked with the waiter, asking if the portions were really large, and he assured me they were "generous." Too bad that wasn't true. The house appetizer consisted of three tiny samples, clearly prepared some time ago. The grilled fish didn't even weigh 150 grams—including the shrimp carcasses—and the sea bream all'isolana was perhaps 100 grams of real fish. The zucchini served on the side were sour, probably cooked in poor-quality white wine: I, who am usually not picky, couldn't eat them. Final bill: €60, without wine, just a bottle of still water. Overall, a disappointing experience in every way. A place to forget.

02/04/2025: From the moment I arrived at Villa San Michele, I was struck by its timeless elegance.What makes this villa truly unique is its blend of heritage and modern art. During my time there, the villa was hosting a collaboration with Galleria Continua, showcasing the iconic works of Beijing-based artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu. Their exhibition, exploring the theme of “Identity In Space,” added an avant-garde touch to the villa’s historical context of the villa. I had the immense privilege of photographing a luxury destination wedding at Villa San Michele, and as a luxury photographer who works with many exquisite venues, I can confidently say it is unlike any other. From the golden-hour glow over Florence to the villa’s historic interiors, the variety of breathtaking locations offered endless opportunities for capturing perfect moments. I should note that the villa’s commitment to excellence is reflected not only in its stunning spaces but also in its exceptional staff, who are attentive, courteous and hospitable to one whether they are a guest or a visitor. To me, the latter is a sign of true hospitality! I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend villa San Michele and I plan to visit again, this time for an extended stay with my wife next time I am in Florence!

A suggestion: in the evening, table linen would be more appropriate, as this is not a "placemat" kind of restaurant. It definitely deserves to be included in the Michelin Guide. 26/08/2025: I ate at the Albiro restaurant in Bellagio and was very impressed overall. The menu (five courses) was outstanding, the quality of the food absolutely top-notch. I would particularly like to highlight the service: attentive, warm, and professional. The wine pairing by the sommelier was an experience in itself – something you don't get every day. Why "only" four stars? We enjoyed two bottles of wine during the meal, and at the end I asked if I could get a bottle to take away at a better price. I knew in advance that the same wine costs around €30 in stores. However, in the restaurant, it would cost the same price to take away as it would have if served at the table – namely €115. This disappointed me, because restaurants usually give a fairer price for takeaway, since there's no service included. Unfortunately, this felt inflexible and a bit rude. All in all, it was still a great evening with fantastic food and service – I just wish they had been more accommodating with the wine policy.
