02/04/2026: We found this accommodation with our family of four and would definitely give it 5 stars+. The apartments are absolutely charming and tastefully furnished, perfectly suited to the surroundings. The owner, Simona, lives and breathes her project, filling the "Penna Alta" with holiday apartments and an osteria serving local cuisine, all imbued with her own unique character. Anyone wanting to experience Tuscany up close will find themselves right at home here. We enjoyed a set menu featuring several local dishes at the osteria and were absolutely delighted.

19/04/2026: A lovely venue with a well-kept wooden terrace outside, complete with music and aperitifs, even overlooking the sea, with sofas on the sand. Exotic cocktails with fresh fruit are delicious and flavorful. They serve appetizers and have an aperitif menu. The service is precise, attentive, engaging, and informally professional. And I think it's particularly suited to this type of service. Expectations are high due to the high potential for attendance.

22/02/2026: Stay away, both for the food and the restaurant owner. Lunch on February 22nd, reservation with The Fork, for two people. I had pici with mussels and pecorino cheese; basically, it was pici with cherry tomatoes and pecorino cheese, with a few mussels thrown in, without even the faintest hint of mussels (this dish is usually served plain). My wife had fried fish, which tasted average. The best part was the fried anchovies, which were truly inedible and had a terrible flavor. We pointed this out to the waiter and sent them back. I assure you, they were truly inedible. When paying the bill, I pointed this out to the owner, who even joked about it, and obviously added them to the final bill. A terrible experience. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

19/02/2026: Me and my wife were in Florence for our anniversary and we stumbled upon this restaurant and quickly fell in love with the atmosphere and the food did not disappoint! The service is top there and they are super friendly and made us feel at home to the point where we came three nights in a row. I highly recommend whether you’re looking for great pasta, steak, and pizza since we got to try a little bit of everything! Stop in for a drink and some food you won’t regret it!

21/10/2025: Food and service were outstanding. Not to mention the stunning view. My husband and I went there for a coffee at first and the staff was so lovely we decided to go back for brunch. After that we went back for dinner. We just couldn't get enough of this place. We had a 3 weeks vacation driving around Italy and our experience at Terraza was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner we had was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Andrea and Nico were lovely and offered impeccable service. Looking forward to my next Lake Como trip.

03/02/2026: My partner and I booked a table here for one evening during our stay on Elba Island in June 2023. I should start by saying we don't know what the restaurant is like inside, as we dined on the covered veranda overlooking the sea, which was very pretty. The staff was friendly, but not at all professional or knowledgeable. The service was clumsy and bordering on ridiculous. We ordered two plates of seafood linguine; the pasta was overcooked, and the fish was visibly frozen (which I couldn't understand, given that Rio Marina is located by the sea and Elba offers a wide variety of fresh seafood everywhere). Everything was way too salty, wallowing in the watery sauce. The bottle of wine we ordered wasn't available, so we relied on the waitress. The wine was good. The fried fish was extremely salty and overcooked; we had to leave it because it was inedible. We finished with two terrible coffees, but they didn't ruin the dinner we'd just finished. The bill arrived, if possible, more expensive than the dishes listed above. A real disaster. I never write negative reviews, but that dinner ruined the rest of the evening, and we were annoyed that, even though we hadn't eaten anything, no one bothered to ask what the problem was. I don't recommend it.

12/01/2026: The dishes didn't live up to the very beautiful location. The spiciness was too much, covering the flavor of the fish and the dish. In fact, to be honest, the flavor of the fish was very, very mild. The staff was very friendly and the prices were fair.

08/01/2026: I had been to this restaurant years ago and returned to see if it was still like this. Everything was really good, excellent food, professional and very knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere was beautiful. I will be back.

19/12/2025: The atmosphere is really nice, being on the seafront. The staff inside the shop are friendly and welcoming, and the location is truly perfect. The only flaw, which is still significant, is the fact that there are no gluten-free products, or at least there are some, but they are only pre-packaged sweets and chips. In such a busy and nice place, having a lack of gluten-free products in 2024 is not nice. Otherwise, the place is recommended, but I remind you to include more gluten-free products.

19/03/2026: I must say, it was an interesting dinner. Laura's service was impeccable, and the chef paid special attention. He was meticulous, clean, and attentive to my friend's allergies! The location is beautiful, and definitely worth a try.

03/01/2026: Definitely a nice place. But always a different waiter/bartender, prices never the same. I recommend a larger plate for an aperitif, as the leftovers will be thrown away. It's better to finish everything.

26/08/2025: A truly positive experience The place doesn't have a sea view, but it's right on the sea, away from the crowds and noise. You don't see the sun set, but the moon rise. The pizza and schiacciatine are excellent, because the pizza chef has, I'd say, thirty years of experience!!! The owners are kind and professional, and the waitress is attentive and friendly. The mojitos had spoiled mint and stale lemon. The drink tasted disappointing and was unpleasant. We addressed the issue with the bartender, but received only negative comments. Furthermore, the service was disgusting: the women were unfriendly and rude. I don't recommend this cafe. I usually don't write reviews, but this time I feel that everyone should know where they are going and not be misled by the good reviews of others.
