26/03/2025: The food is freshly prepared and the service is very friendly. The location is rustic and cozy. Vegan specials are available upon request. The tomatoes were fresh. The pasta could have been cooked al dente.

06/10/2024: At Orlando you can eat very well! The squid ink ravioli with sea bass sauce and Santostefanese stockfish are excellent!!! Advised. A place also suitable for children.

07/11/2024: Food was good as they catered for my husband's vegan, gluten free diet. Service was friendly. Rooms nice and clean but felt the website was not honest in not saying that there was a charge to use the spa. Even on their sister hotel that does not have a spa it says you can use the their spa hence we chose this one for the spa. Other hotels that do charge for the spa always allow you to use it for free once you have a massage there. Despite my husband and I paying €240 for a massage, they still wanted us to pay a further €100 to use the spa for one hour only.

25/03/2025: Cena io carne mia moglie pesce. Entrambi sufficienti ma niente di più. Pasta allo scoglio con frutti di mare tiepidi ma non caldi, grigliata mista di carne senza infamia e senza lode, vino della casa sufficiente. Non mi ha entusiasmato a dispetto delle altre recensioni che ho letto.

09/03/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant as guests of the hotel. The place is elegant with a slightly retro style. The kind and knowledgeable staff explains each course and a sommelier pairs the wines with the various dishes. They offer gourmet cuisine, with traditional dishes revisited in a modern key and with more refined combinations. The portions are not generous and the prices are above average, but that is to be expected when going to a restaurant of this type. Overall we had a nice evening and were satisfied.

06/03/2025: Abbiamo mangiato panini per pranzo prima di un bel giro in centro. Pane molto buono, affettato pure. Ho apprezzato un particolare: prezzi onesti. In centro ad Arezzo una focaccia con affettato 3,5 euro. Se uno aggiunge un secondo ingrediente (c'è molta scelta) aumenta, ma sempre a cifre onestissime. Non è mai sottinteso andando in giro. Anche il costo dell'acqua è nella norma. Ci tornerò.

18/02/2025: We went to this restaurant for a lunch with friends. The environment is welcoming and the service was impeccable, even though we were at one table. I'm sorry not to have photographed the dishes but both the seafood starter (superlative crostini, breaded squid and octopus on fried polenta, both soft with a captivating flavour) and the tortelli, also seafood, with a strong but not cloying flavour, deserve a mention. And how can we not mention the frying, which is truly special! The next time we return to Castiglione we will certainly know where to go!

28/03/2025: We went to this pizzeria and we didn't like the anonymous and small pizza, due to hunger we took french fries which were bitter cold and soaked in oil, inedible. High prices. The only positive note was the polite and friendly staff

19/04/2025: Our server was absolutely so rude. She didn’t give us time to look at the menu and we asked her to give us a minute … she refused and just stood there. Said the kitchen was closing so we had to order immediately. Brought my daughter to tears. Otherwise it would have been lovely.

23/02/2025: Small but charming tavern in the center of Borgo San Lorenzo, one of the few I found open on Sunday for lunch. Ten euros for a generous plate of potato tortelli with meat sauce is now rare but here they manage it, and how delicious the cheek with the purée that I ordered as a second course.

17/02/2025: Se per lo Staff di Sala si può far valere l'assunto "squadra che vince non si cambia" con lo spettacolare Chef de Rang Dean a Capitanare ragazzi professionali, attenti, discreti e preparati come Sofia, Francesco e Matteo, la Rivoluzione operata in cucina con l'arrivo del "Duo Maravilha" Giacomo Bussotti e Neri Reggioli ha decisamente alzato il livello. Materia prima di gran qualità elaborata e presentata in maniera eccelsa. Sapori e Sentori di una volta rivisitati in versione attuale con tecnica sopraffina...esaltazione sensoriale allo stato puro. Cantina da mille e più vitigni ed etichette. Degustazione verticale con abbinamento al calice da sogno. Giornata memorabile...OLTRE!!! Bravissimi tutti.

26/01/2025: La nuovissima brigata capitanata dallo chef Giacomo Bussotti, offre un’esperienza gustativa unica e, oltre ad emozionare e lasciare il segno, ci impone di tornare per degustare ciò che non abbiamo ancora assaggiato! Bravi davvero! Impeccabile, come al solito, il servizio! Dean ti sa coccolare con discrezione e grande competenza! Lingua bruciata e kakumi per ora sono i miei preferiti! Per i nostalgici del signor piccione, non abbiamo rimpianto quello del precedente chef!
