01/06/2025: The best meatballs we have ever had!!! We also loved the Sugo Della casa. The staff was friendly and we had an incredible last meal in Siena. Make sure you make a reservation!!!

29/12/2024: Cozy restaurant even if it has a bit of mold and dust. The typical first courses of the area are not served, which is serious. Furthermore, the waitress didn't tell us all the dishes of the day, only adding them to the dessert.

13/06/2025: Incredibly slow and unfriendly service, we had to wait 25 minutes for draft beers, with no other guests besides us, and 4 staff "working" in the pizzeria... They managed to assemble the pizzas (7 in total) in 1 hour... the quality of the food was okay, but we were disappointed with the place. What would have happened if there had been guests at every table.

29/09/2024: Waited almost an hour for a sautéed mussels and another very sad seafood appetizer that tasted like chickpeas. The mussels had a heavy rotten smell, despite the prior request about their quality. And what can I say... in the room there was only one other table with a couple of people who arrived after us who were having dessert while we were being served the appetizer. Then a seafood spaghetti always with chickpea flavor and a fried food like you wouldn't expect it even if reheated in the microwave after a week in the refrigerator... two glasses of wine and... when you spend over 40 euros per person you expect a good quality dinner, in short... a big cruise

19/09/2024: Ristorante centralissimo a Marina di Grosseto, in via tranquilla e ventilata. Perfetto per una cena in coppia ma anche fra amici! Sono stata ad agosto con il mio compagno e poi sono tornata moltissime volte portando amici. Si può cenare all' aperto su di un plateatico in legno. Bellissimo e in estate fresco e pieno di piante. Il pesce è freschissimo e la pasta fatta in casa è deliziosa. Ci torno sempre quando passo da Marina.

28/05/2025: Rustic and very good! We ate the tomato soup and steak with green pepper sauce and spinach and porcini. Very tasty and friendly service. Quite ok wine list. If you want a view, sit inside.

11/05/2025: Unfortunately I have to change my mind from the previous five star review…. Much worse! Terrible first courses... 2 tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms which were practically plain tagliatelle without even a bit of oil, drained and put on the plate... not even a hint of porcini mushrooms - pappardelle with wild boar in white without sauce and with coarse pieces of wild boar thrown in (pappardelle with wild boar undoubtedly comes with sauce...) The second courses had cuts full of calluses and the chicken was inedible because it was raw. The side dishes with baked potatoes soaked in oil and who knows how many times reheated due to their dark colour, the fried artichokes dried and fried with used oil…. We're not really there!!!!! I don't know if the chef has changed (so to speak), if it's an economic choice or what but this way you lose customers! I take away the positive review given and it will certainly be the last time I come..

20/05/2025: Dinner with friends, starting with appetizers, cold cuts, crostini, very good, then a classic pici, good, fresh pasta of course, a place that I have always seen walking through the town center of Sarteano, for dinner/lunch I have always preferred to leave the town to see the beauties of that area, but now that I have tried the cuisine of Tripolitania I will stop more often.

17/05/2025: Mi buen amigo Michele me había traído a Sarteano para jugar bocce ball y mostrarme dónde creció. Para el almuerzo me llevó a su ristorante favorito. El lugar era como cuando era un niño. El ambiente solo establece el estado de ánimo para una comida perfecta. Había visto en la pizarra especial afuera espárragos pici. Por supuesto que tuve que probarlo y como dicen en Maui "Se rompió la boca". El mejor pici que tuve durante mi estancia de un mes en la Toscana. El vino y el desierto tampoco defraudaron. La dueña te hizo sentir como en familia y su servicio fue excelente. Me fui con una enorme sonrisa en mi cara y recuerdos en mi mente

After more than an hour of waiting the table was still not ready, the waiters - aware of the situation of obvious overbooking - avoided customers waiting. I'm sorry because it's not the first time it happens to me in this restaurant and although I have always eaten very well, in my opinion, such treatment in a high-level restaurant like maitò is not acceptable.

There was music, a DJ set, people dancing and having fun, which created a nice atmosphere, etc. Really good food! Very extensive and interesting wine list!! Recommended from this point of view! The flaw was the 360 ​​degree welcome. Starting from the fact that we wanted to warn them of the delay, since we had been told to arrive on time otherwise they would have taken our table, and they did not respond to communicate the delay since there was no space for the car. At the parking lot which, in fact, did not have space for us, when other big cars arrived and there was a place for them…. Up to the welcome at the restaurant, totally absent. Even simply to warn them that we had arrived. We had to ask several times to sit down (1 hour later) at the table, much later than the time of the reservation. Understandable that it was a weekend, everything booked, etc., but a little more organization would be appreciated and recommended, also because the first shift should be notified that there is a second and therefore invited to vacate the table by the time of the next reservation, already notifying them of the conditions during the reservation phase, in order to avoid discontent. Instead, people remained seated, taken by the situation and dancing / singing etc. understandable, but I recommend that you improve this aspect because today it is essential to guarantee a certain type of service, especially in a place like this, of a high level, also based on the price range.. and it is a shame to lose out like this ... However, very beautiful location, pleasant environment and people, kind waiters, very good food and wine proposal! I highly recommend the Parma ham (pizza) = incredible! excellent ingredients, a raw ham that melted in the mouth (we did without tomato, so as to enhance the flavors of the ingredients much more!)

22/04/2025: premesso che sono ligure, avevo scoperto il ristorante in una mia precedente vacanza in chianti....sono tornato nel lungo we di pasqua 2025 e sono stato a cena 2 volte...avevo i nomi di altri ristoranti consigliati ma, come si dice, squadra vincente non si cambia. 20/04/2025: Trovato quasi per caso, domenica di pasqua 25, parcheggio di fronte all'ingresso molto comodo, locale molto accogliente in perfetto stile toscano, così come il titolare, gentile e competente, fiorentina ottima, così come tutto il resto del pranzo, conto decisamente nella media, se non sotto, davvero ottima esperienza!!! Quello della fiorentina di Pasqua!!!
