10/04/2026: The seating area in the main restaurant area is small but the menu is excellent and service has always been great. It is almost underground in a vaulted space beneath the loggia above. Regional specialties are the way to go. They make the best tortellini en brodo that I have ever had, although that's usually a special and not guaranteed to be on the menu. One of the better restaurants in Castiglion Fiorentino in my opinion.

21/01/2026: A solid 2 out of 2 after a few weeks, and still super positive. A historic restaurant located on the pedestrian street of San Vincenzo, offering tables both on the aquarium veranda and in the indoor dining rooms. Menu: - Pizza: Very good, whether classic, imaginative, or gourmet. From now on, my favorite in San Vincenzo. - Fish: I tried fried food, risotto, and pasta. Everything was great, perhaps the risotto was good, but not great; perhaps I was expecting it to be more "fishy." Prices: In line with local restaurants for quantity and quality, both for the pizza menu and the restaurant.

19/06/2025: Nel borgo storico di Lucignano questo ristorante è veramente buono: cucina della tradizione toscana di ottima qualità, anche quella più semplice (panzanella strepitosa) servita in un bel ristornate con una bellissima terrazza. I prezzi sono corretti, come le porzioni. Il personale è gentile ed estrmamente professionale, sia nei tempi che nei modi. Complimenti.

19/05/2025: Siamo arrivati all'ultimo minuto di sabato sera, e nonostante il locale fosse pieno, Stefania – gentilissima e davvero professionale – è riuscita a trovarci un tavolo. Un grazie speciale a lei per l'accoglienza e l'ottimo servizio! Abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo: come antipasto abbiamo preso dei crostini deliziosi, saporiti e ben presentati. Il piatto forte della serata è stata la bistecca in costa, cotta alla perfezione e tenerissima – semplicemente eccezionale. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosso di Montalcino che ha esaltato ogni sapore. Davvero ottimo! Siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti: qualità, atmosfera e servizio impeccabili. È un ristorante che consiglio vivamente, ma… prenotate per tempo, soprattutto nel weekend!

22/03/2026: A very cool, trendy, and well-kept location. The storytelling and ethical choices are admirable. The meat is excellent, though it's a shame it wasn't served piping hot and the condiments were a bit heavy. The dessert, though quite strong, didn't satisfy any lingering hunger. A great experience, even if it was more scenic than gastronomic. The bill was a bit high, but justified.

08/04/2026: Overpriced for what they offer. If you eat outside, the stench is revolting. Service is left to chance; they don't even list allergens on the menu.

14/03/2026: We stopped by chance at a small, elegantly decorated, clean restaurant with excellent service. A wide selection of wines, a menu of both meat and seafood, and inviting, unpredictable dishes from start to finish. We ordered a Tuscan tortello with meat ragù, which was tasty and balanced, and a salmon tarar with citrus fruits, absolutely fantastic, fresh and tender, accompanied by a delicious, unique sauce. We then shared an exceptional dish that I highly recommend, and the boiled seafood left me speechless... I've never had such a delicious dish, and if I had to rate it, it would get my 10. We then finished with a chocolate tenerina served warm with a raspberry sauce. This course was also well-rounded, balanced, and delicious. Two glasses of red wine. Two coffees, too, left nothing to chance, accompanied by delicious homemade cookies. High-quality cuisine, fresh ingredients, refined and unpredictable cuisine, excellent value for money. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

06/06/2025: Mein Lieblingsrestaurant seit 1981 - mit 5 war ich zum ersten Mal in der damals ganz neuen Trattoria, die sich im Laufe der Jahre zu einem hervorragenden Restaurant mit lokaler Küche entwickelt hat. Es gibt keine „Spielereien“ sondern das pure Geschmackserlebnis aus besten lokalen Zutaten. Und alles hält die wunderbare Irma zusammen. Der gute Geist und die umsichtige Chefin.

14/04/2026: Looking for a restaurant after leaving the train station on a Sunday at 2 pm, we stumbled upon Ristorante Centrale, which was one of the few still open. We had a pretty good meal; the dishes were decent and we were served quickly.

12/04/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, my husband, my two small children, and I. I ordered lasagna, and my husband ordered cacio e pepe. Unfortunately, my lasagna was truly inedible: I only tasted a single forkful, and it tasted like a single porridge, almost like a muddled casserole, without a pleasant, well-defined flavor. I couldn't eat it. Even my husband's cacio e pepe, although he ate it because he was hungry, wasn't made well and didn't have the flavor one would normally expect from such a simple yet typical dish. When the waiter came to collect our plates, I sincerely pointed out that the lasagna was inedible. I didn't ask for another dish, I didn't demand anything, I simply left practically everything on my plate. In the end, I only ate the two small pieces of schiacciata that were brought at the beginning. The most unpleasant thing was the way the situation was handled: when my husband stayed to pay, he was told that the kitchen had tasted the lasagna and that everything was fine. We still paid for everything, including one dish that wasn't eaten because it was truly unacceptable. In our opinion, regardless of personal taste, in a case like this, it would have been more appropriate not to charge for at least the dish that was left almost entirely. We won't be returning.

10/09/2025: Nice place, however beware of the staff who replaced the ordered wine with a very pricy one, not good value for money
