This charming restaurant, immersed in Florence's unique atmosphere, offered us a memorable lunch, a perfect blend of tradition, quality, and a warm welcome. 🍽️ Our Gastronomic Journey We began with a mixed antipasto that immediately warmed the senses: traditional crostini and a delicious olive pâté, followed by a delicious pumpkin and egg flan, served alongside two fantastic buffalo mozzarellas of impeccable freshness. A rich and promising start. The journey continued with a flavorful pumpkin and sausage risotto, a comforting and balanced autumnal dish. For our second course, we chose the pork chop with potatoes, cooked to perfection: tender and juicy, accompanied by rustic and flavorful potatoes. 🍷 The Wine and the Perfect Finish To accompany these delicacies, an excellent Tuscan red wine enhanced every flavor, underscoring the restaurant's deep connection with the region. For a sweet end, we couldn't help but try the tiramisu: simply exceptional, creamy, and expertly prepared. 02/12/2025: I enjoyed the restaurant's services as an addition to my stay at the AlleDune Hotel. I found the restaurant perfectly integrated into the dunes. Lots of wood. The menu is constantly changing, offering a wide selection. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Catch of the day. Various appetizers, first courses, meat, fish, and vegetarian main courses are available. The staff is exceptional. Punctual, precise, and cheerful. Even a midday sandwich or pizza at the beach bar is a wonderful experience.

19/10/2025: We would normally have given 5 stars, but this time only 3. The pools were all closed, even when it was 25°C and sunny, which can happen if the property deems it appropriate (they are normally open from May 1 to October 1). One point less for this decision, which went against what we were told when booking, and for the disappointment of the children; another for the refusal to provide a sun lounger to an 85-year-old guest. The staff remains friendly and competent, but obviously bound by management's decisions. We hope the property will invest a little more in maintenance of the property and in attention to guests next season.

19/10/2025: When vacationing in Tuscany, you have to think carefully about the right location to keep the distances somewhat under control. This was perfect for us; the complex is very well-maintained and beautifully designed. There are many vacation apartments and a few rooms, like a village in its own right.

19/10/2025: The service was bad, they were rude and impatient. The steak was good but the veal cheek was undercook and unpleasant to eat. The lights were too harsh and there were no music nor ambience.

14/10/2025: We had lunch here and we're impressed enough to come back for dinner the same night. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was outstanding! The presentation was molto benne! As was the wine and its presentation. If I am back in Radda in Chianti in the future, I will certainly come back here!

03/11/2025: Very nice hotel on the beach. Our room was elegant and spacious, with a great shower and comfortable bed. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. All the staff were really friendly. We'll be back soon.

20/09/2025: We recently spent our vacation at the La Bussola Beach Hotel. - Our room „Giglio“ was perfect for our family. It was very clean and comfortable. We felt right at home and could relax well after a long day at the beach or trips. - The beach is perfect! Clean, quiet, and with a beautiful view. We relaxed on the beach and enjoyed the sun. - The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We always felt well taken care of and could rely on the staff whenever we needed assistance. - The mini golf course was a bit in need of maintenance, but we still had a good time. It was a nice pastime for us. We didn’t use the golf area where guests mainly spend their time. In general, we felt very comfortable at the La Bussola Beach Hotel. The cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and the perfect beach location were all highlights for us. We can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and would book it again in a heartbeat.

12/12/2025: First time at this welcoming, elegant yet simple restaurant. Just the way my wife and I like it. The staff were friendly, punctual, and welcoming. We ate very well and drank the beer, which they brew, which was more than excellent. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert were all exquisite. Excellent value for money, in the historic center of beautiful Cortona. What else?

05/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, fast, friendly and helpful service, food in this case excellent pizzas, really good, it is advisable to book although it is a large place and on Saturdays you often don't find a table before 9.30pm or 10.00pm

02/12/2025: This was recommended to us by our hotel. We went in as they were preparing to open. They welcomed us in, took our order and offered us appertivos while we waited. They were so kind and gracious. The pizza was outstanding! Perfectly done and tasty. We appreciated their kindness and would definitely go back!

When you add in the exceptional dinner and complimentary breakfast, you truly appreciate what a wonderful value it is to stay here. A heartfelt thank-you to every staff member we encountered, from the first greeter to the manager, Alessandra, all of whom made us feel completely at home. We look forward to returning the next time we’re in Tuscany.

12/10/2025: We went for lunch today. The chef and the person who served us were extremely kind. We had two calamaratas, a burrata ravioli, a rice gnudo, a mussel pepper dish, and a hamburger. The dishes were truly delicious and beautifully presented. The chef also gave us a truly special dessert: an extra portion of ravioli for my daughter, who was still hungry. He also brought my wife a sample of calamarata, as he put it, "so she wouldn't go away craving it." It's rare to find such quality and kindness toward customers as the charming chef Stefano showed us. We had a good laugh over the combination of local cuisine and refined food, which is truly rare. The price was more than fair. When and if we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.
