11/10/2025: The place is very well-kept in every detail, the staff is very courteous and kind and the dishes are no less... We ate very well... the appetizer was really abundant and excellent and the same goes for the tartare and the first courses...

23/08/2025: The restaurant is a piece of history, which is presented—or rather, re-presented—with a non-invasive yet exciting touch from the owners. Photos of the restaurant before the renovations are available to view inside, allowing you to fully appreciate the philosophy, already ingrained in the early days. You'll be welcomed by the host, Nicola, who for two years has been on a journey of presenting the public with spirits, bitters, and similar beverages, every conceivable variety, to satisfy the most diverse needs. Equally helpful in the dining room is Rachele, who with quiet diligence serves delicacies from the kitchen, the domain of their mother, Silvia. Rounding out the experience are the father and grandmother, equally committed to achieving the family's shared goal of running the restaurant. The dishes are traditional, indulgent yet sumptuous, satisfying both the mind and the palate. They also serve biscuits and fresh pasta, and their dry and leavened products are always handcrafted, with variations based on the whims of the moment, yet respectful of the Maremma terroir. Finally, in addition to the aforementioned alcoholic drinks, we offer a fine wine list, representing the Morellino region and beyond, where the Provveditore farm is located, further showcasing their indigenous heritage. Finally, I might add that you'll occasionally find themed evenings, given their passion for all things related, which isn't limited to the province/region but also includes national delicacies, brought back from their travels and made available to the public after establishing relationships with commendable businesses in the restaurant and "neighboring" sectors. A space for those who can also play a grand piano, which is not a given, because music is a union with the Earth. In short, a place to experience not only with the mouth but also with the senses, leaving the door of the heart open to be flooded by their humble yet unique way of being.

17/09/2025: We had a delicious meal at Quarantuno! The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We walked by at 6:00 PM with our two young children, looking for an early dinner. Although they normally don't open until 7:00 PM, they opened an hour early especially for us. And the food was excellent! One of the best dinners we had during our vacation. The combination of their hospitality, the lovely atmosphere, and the high quality of the food makes Quarantuno an absolute must-visit. We will definitely be back when we're in Pietrasanta again!

21/10/2025: If you are driving in Italy you can't go wrong with Si Montalcino Hotel. Clean, well kept with a very friendly staff. great parking that is close to the hotels lobby. It's only 5 minutes away from Montalcino which is a nice place to visit.

11/08/2025: We stayed a few days and had a great time. The rooms are simple and, in my opinion, could use some updating. However, the service is top-notch and the staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

18/09/2025: This pizzeria is so wonderfully down-to-earth and delivers incredibly delicious food at a reasonable price. We had the soufflé as a starter, a Roy pizza, and a ravioli. Delicious food and warm service, too. A truly wonderful experience, thank you.

06/09/2025: I tried Pizzeria Cavour in Moncalieri and it was an exceptional experience! 🍕 Mr. Sandro welcomed us with great kindness and warmth, making us feel right at home. The pan pizza is truly special: fragrant, soft, and bursting with flavor, the best I've ever had. 🔝 Welcoming place, impeccable service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an unforgettable pizza!

18/10/2025: After waiting half an hour at the restaurant entrance with no one to greet us, when we gestured to ask if there was room, the person manning the tables replied, "I'm working," and without even stopping, quickly walked away. Nice welcome.

18/10/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing experience. We passed Trattoria Osteria dei Mille in Pisa and politely asked if there was a table available. The waiter, without even a glance, replied, "I'm working," and moved on, completely ignoring us. No explanation, no courtesy, not even a simple "just a moment" or "sorry, we're full." A truly rude attitude that made us decide not to stop. It's a shame, because the place seemed nice, but hospitality is a fundamental part of a restaurant, and unfortunately, it was completely lacking here.

11/09/2025: We were a part of 11 and we all enjoyed this restaurant that much we went twice. Staff were very friendly and nothing was any trouble . Food was bello and it all came out at the same time 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 I would highly recommend

09/09/2025: DELICIOUS LUNCH INSIDE A CASTLE ! My wife and I arrived in Florence by Bullet Train from Rome on Sunday, March 23rd. A well appointed king suite on the 5th floor of the luxurious Hotel Berchielli would be HOME for the next 4 days. Hard to beat that view of the picturesque River Arno ! We had a couple of day tours planned while in Florence and had engaged the services of our fav limo tour driver Martin who knew the ropes around here better than most. And more than that Martin had become our good friend since we first used his services 18 months before when he drove us from Florence to Bologna via the scenic route. On Monday Martin picked us up out front to begin our road tour of Tuscany. AMAZING SCENERY EVERYWHERE ! We stopped at Piazza del Campo for a look around...Siena Cathedral was beautiful ! In the distance I could see a large structure that looked like a castle. I said to Martin that I had never seen a castle....then we will go there Michael was his reply. Martin let us out at the front entrance while he parked the limo...and then he joined us within a few minutes. WOW ! What we could see out front sure looked majestic. NOTE ! San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena, Tuscany, north-central Italy. Known as the Town of Five Towers, San Gimignano is famous for its medieval architecture, unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses which with its hilltop setting and encircling walls, form "an unforgettable skyline". In the 3rd century BC a small Etruscan village stood on the site of San Gimignano. Shortly after we entered through the front gate my wife bought a beautiful Italian wide brimmed straw hat to replace the one left behind on the Bullet Train. We walked along the pristine paved paths looking at the wide variety of small businesses designed to please the hordes of tourists who visit here. At around 1pm we decided it was time to have some lunch and Martin knew the perfect spot...La Biscondola. We found a level table on the sloping outdoor patio and a smiling server named Giusy brought us menus. FIRST UP ! I ordered a bottle of Vale Blonde Ale to come out with our glasses of iced waters. I also asked Guisy to bring me a tall stem glass. FOOD ! I wasn't really sure what I wanted so I thought ordering a Bruschetta would be a good start. My wife and Martin both went with serves of Zuppa Toscana di Farro ( Tuscan spelled soup ). My ice cold blonde ale in a tall stem glass tasted very good. SUPER FAST SERVICE ! Before we knew it our server Giusy brought everything out to our table. My wife and our friend Martin commented how satisfying their soups tasted....it was a chilly day. OMG ! When I ordered my bruschetta I figured it would be a small serve and then I would order something else. BIGGEST BRUSCHETTA EVER ! But I tell you what....it was totally delicious. DESSERT ! We had plans to buy gelatos at a very famous gelateria up the street but some sort of cake sounded nice. When I was checking out inside a bit earlier I saw this interesting looking cake on the bar counter. Giusy told me it was called Panforte Fichi e Noci ( figs, nuts, honey ). Everyone agreed we should have some. Soon after Giusy brought out 6 thin slices on a platter...it tasted dense, rich and very flavorsome. We loved it. I had a lovely chat with Stefania the owner before we headed off on our merry way. A VERY ENJOYABLE LUNCH !

25/06/2025: Un ottimo locale nel centro città ma pur sempre in zona tranquilla. Squisite pietanze ben curate anche nell'aspetto "condite" da cortesia ed ospitalità rendono questo locale un vero piacere per il palato ed lo spirito. Ottimi fine serata gli aperitivi...

25/09/2025: We are currently (end of September 2025) in Tuscany – so after the season – and live near Palaia. We already know "Il Pettirosso" from previous vacations in Tuscany and we always enjoy going there. Table reservations are highly recommended, even in the off-season, as the beautiful garden isn't large enough at sunset and there are only limited seating options. Dogs are also welcome and are provided with water. As always, we had a wonderful meal this week. For starters, we had two bruschettas each, followed by a calzone for my wife and penne arrabiata for me. For dessert, we had two espressos and a tiramisu. We drank half a liter of Vino Bianco della Casa. All together, it came to just 53 euros. Very good quality at more than fair prices. The service was also excellent; we were served very well by two young waiters. The ambiance isn't quite as pleasant as in summer, when you can enjoy the sunset on the terrace around 9 p.m. But for us, it's still full marks, and we'll definitely be back for dinner in the remaining days. Thank you very much! PS: These prices should make many constantly complaining restaurateurs in Germany blush. Where can you get half a liter of open wine for 5 euros here?

19/10/2025: Neapolitan pizzeria restaurant where you really feel like you're in Naples with quality raw ingredients, excellent pizza both in terms of dough and ingredients, nothing to envy of the famous pizza makers in Florence, in fact you eat well and spend little, as a true pizza lover and try everything in Tuscany!!!
