04/08/2024: Vi var blevet anbefalet at prøve denne restaurant. Vi fik kalve tatar til forret. Jeg fik Tun filet tataki til hovedret og min kone fik kalve filet. Alt smagte fremragende. Restauranten ligger lidt væk fra strøget og ved en smuk park. Man kan også få pastaretter.

26/07/2024: We booked online a day in advance and the following morning we also went personally to confirm the booking. When we arrived at the restaurant right on time, however, the table was not available. We decide to leave and not wait for a place that was supposed to be reserved but, outside the restaurant, we are stopped by another waiter of the restaurant who decides to make a table available to us, which we understood was normally intended for a larger group of people. numerous. This attempt by the waiter to smooth over the situation was, however, outweighed by the rudeness of the first waiter, the one who had welcomed us as soon as we arrived, who loudly and in a very rude tone accused us of not having given him time to say that the table was available and that they were simply finishing setting it up. It's a shame, however, that this same treatment was reserved for all the customers who arrived after us with reservations, it was in fact a succession of complaints from people left standing and waiting, disconcerted by the lack of seriousness and professionalism that one would expect from a restaurant that It passes itself off as a classy place. Moving on to the culinary aspect, the dishes were mediocre: the shrimp and vegetable tempura was heavy, the linguine with mussels and clams was very salty and completely unrelated to the sauce, it looked like pasta with oil in broth, while the fish soup, still served steaming, it had thorns. We left the pasta intact and no one approached us to ask us if there was some problem with the dishes. With reference to waiting times, we waited for the first one for a good hour and 45 minutes, the people around us were snorting because they were hungry, a group of exhausted tourists, with a child of about three years old, left early that they decide to bring the dishes, all surrounded by a couple of customers next to us who will have waited for the table for 45 minutes because the diktat of the place is to make people wait indefinitely rather than granting a table of four to just two people, even if there is no longer a queue outside the venue. I conclude by saying that although we were sitting inside we suffered a lot from the heat. What to say? It was a Saturday evening of passion, inefficient organisation, not enough dishes, and this happens when the customer for certain establishments represents only a wallet from which to take as much advantage as possible with minimal effort. Evidently the difficulties of the lockdown have not raised awareness even of this range of restaurants which in the end are "touristy" in the worst possible sense.

21/07/2024: Lovely place, impeccable service. The menu is always varied. La Cannata always offers tasty, top quality dishes. Fresh fish is served with care and taste. Santino is a great host.

21/06/2024: Perfect lunch, good views. Very authentic. Extremely good service. Can also highly recommend their Aperol Spritz :)

03/09/2024: Absolutely impressive! The scenery, the beach, the food (My wife and I loved the linguine with lobster, the tiramisu, and the coffee.)

31/08/2024: The TaoBeach lido in Taormina is a real jewel. Located in one of the most fascinating and historically rich locations in Italy, it offers a seaside experience that combines natural beauty, comfort and high quality services. The staff are proactive and you can see that they do their best to let you enjoy your holidays. The food and cocktails are also of a very high standard. Mandatory summer stop :)

25/07/2024: Un giardino incantevole fa da cornice ai piatti sapientemente preparati e serviti con garbo e professionalitá. Cibo buonissimo! I miei spaghetti con tonno e bottarga erano davvero eccellenti, per non parlare dei dolci preparati dalla proprietaria, la quale si é subito premurata per cercare un’opzione idonea per me che non potevo mangiare panna. Peccato esserci stata una sola sera. Ci ritornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio fortemente.

24/07/2024: Ambiente molto carino, servizio attento e veloce, piatti buoni (noi abbiamo assaggiato solo antipasti e secondi). Prezzi in linea nel contesto di Lipari. Probabilmente ci torneremo.

13/08/2024: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante con amici residenti a Lipari. Bellissima atmosfera e ottimi piatti. Dalla pizza al risotto al nero di seppia cucinato davvero ottimamente e primi di pesce. Servizio ben eseguito, proprietario gentile nonostante le serate stressanti e affollate di Agosto.

22/07/2024: Nice clean spacious room, with a balcony. The people were very friendly and offered great service. The pool was good with lots of sunbeds and shade. Everything was well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much.

14/08/2024: Menù effimero cibo orrendo , mi sono preso una carbonara era letteralmente bianca l’uovo ? La pizza era surgelata e il conto è pure salato per il cibo scadente , i prezzi cambiano per i turisti , c’è un menù fatto apposta per i turisti tipo la margherita costa 1€ in più , dopo la cena stavo letteralmente vomitando 20€ per una carbonara e una coca cola inaccettabile , 3€ di coperto ? Neanche eravamo coperti entravano insetti api e mosche sopra il “cibo” e ai clienti , non andateci quello che vi consiglio

12/07/2024: Durante il nostro soggiorno a Salina ci piace ritornare da Carla,per assaporare le ottime specialità eoliane cucinate con passione ma anche per ritrovare quell’atmosfera calorosa di famiglia, che difficilmente si trova negli altri ristoranti.

14/06/2024: A family run restaurant with authentic Italian food made with flair and passion. The menu was offered with antipasto platter then 4 choices for both pasta and main course. Finished off with a home made lemoncello.

02/08/2024: The meal and service here was of a 1-star quality. We went with the fish tasting menu and a wine paring for an early seating in the evening. Overall the food was lovely along with an appropriate paired wine service.

17/07/2024: The Hotel Signum on Salina is a true gem. The breathtaking location offers spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding nature. The service is first class, the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are stylishly furnished and invite you to feel good. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent restaurant, which delights with culinary delicacies. A perfect place to relax and enjoy. Highly Recommended!

13/07/2024: Atmosfera elegante, sofisticata e non pretenziosa in una cornice bellissima. Cucina eccellente, ricercata, sofisticata con esaltazione degli ingredienti locali senza perdersi in gourmettismi fastidiosi. Quantità delle portate assolutamente adeguata. Servizio impeccabile, gentile e preparato. A volte una leggera attesa per il refill del vino. Menu degustazioni e alla catta variegato, ottimo. Ridurrei lo spiegone sui sovrapprezzi. A prescindere dalla stella credo sia rimasto l’unico posto a salina dove trovare eccellenza, conduzione familiare ed esaltazione dei sapori locali.

01/08/2024: I went with my love to eat a pizza in this pizzeria, having found ourselves in Savoca with an overnight stay. I must say, an excellent and professional welcome from a tall, very kind waiter and a lady who took the lead. 2 good pizzas, 2 nice cold beers on a large and pleasant terrace. the evening for the right climate despite being at the end of July and for the atmosphere I recommend a stop and who knows if we too will return soon to try the cuisine as it is also a restaurant

26/07/2024: While looking for a restaurant via the internet I found this "gem" where 8 people ate between first courses and excellent pizza... and immediately... Kindness and courtesy are two adjectives for the hosts... the only flaw inside is a little hot without air conditioning but on the veranda you feel like a pasha.

28/08/2024: Very good restaurant found by chance after a long walk in Taormina. Good welcome, quiet, fast and friendly service. The linguine vongole is delicious, a downside for the chicken which was not well cooked
