04/02/2026: We ate here twice. No fuzz, simple regional food well made and professionally served. Simple menu but with food others do not serve. Real home cooking as promised. We will come back.

24/08/2025: Really good. The sandwiches are 500g each, so I recommend getting one for two people. The sandwiches are made with excellent quality ingredients and are nice and filling. The staff is very young and friendly.

23/08/2025: The Jeep guy owes me an apology. Last night I was abused for leaving my car in the unloading lane, which has a 12-hour time limit. From 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, I parked after 9:30 PM, and the guy thinks he owns the road. You couldn't unload the drinks in 12 hours? And you attacked us, saying you shouldn't park there and using foul language. Last night was my son's birthday, and you got us off to a bad start. I'm very careful when I park, and there were no handicapped spots. If there had been, I would have parked there. You weren't right, even though my children and I had to put up with your bad temper. The most rational thing would have been to admit your mistake and apologize.

17/07/2025: Siamo a Panarea, la più glamour delle sette, nonché la perla. La nostra scelta è ricaduta in questo storico e iconico ristorante dell’isola, dove si respira aria di mondanità e sapori autentici. Servizio lodevole e prezzi rapportati…come un po’ da tutti, ma qui sei appagato !

17/07/2025: Il ristorante conferma l’alta qualità che lo contraddistingue da anni. Menù ben assortito per tutte le portate, molto curate e con sapori mediterranei ben definiti. Servizio inappuntabile, senza attese snervanti. Il personale di sala (tutti giovani!) gentilissimo, pronto ed efficiente. Prezzi in linea con la qualità e la localizzazione.

09/01/2026: I went there with my parents, I don't know if it was because it was winter, but the food was poor quality, and the staff practically sat with us at the table. The price was ridiculous: €102, with a grilled zucchini costing €15. Tourism is fine, but let's not exaggerate. Not to mention the pizza, which was clearly bought from the pizzeria next door and arrived cold. (Made right before our eyes.) And I forgot about the burnt breaded swordfish. The only positive note was the octopus sandwich, which was good but nothing special.

07/01/2026: I don't recommend it! Long waits for food, even though I was the only one in the restaurant. The staff constantly tried to add something to the bill that I didn't order (drinks or appetizers). Additionally, an extra pizza was added to the bill, which I didn't order. When I asked for the item to be removed from the bill, I was told it was impossible because the bill had already been charged and wouldn't be correct in the system, and I had to pay for the mistake as well.

07/10/2025: Well...my friends reading this, my expectations were high, in the sense that when they tell you about a gourmet restaurant, you don't just expect a beautiful plating but something more. Punta Lena is a charming restaurant, nothing extraordinary, right on the sea. Perhaps the downside was that when we went for dinner, it was already dark, and we couldn't tell we were right next to the sea. In any case, the dishes were well-cooked, but like pretty much everywhere else in Stromboli. It didn't stand out compared to the rest in terms of food quality. One flaw I absolutely didn't expect was the peppered mussels, which were so salty it tasted like seawater. And we Sicilians know how to cook mussels...when we pointed this out, we were simply told: oh...strange... Anyway, my calamari was good, but it was frozen. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating fresh fish; I can tell right away. The flavor was very good, anyway. That said, I can't give more stars because, guys, it's truly impossible to mess up a Pepata... The prices are truly outrageous for the type of food.

20/09/2025: There's nothing wrong with this place, located in the historic part of Milazzo. The very kind young waiter served us impeccably. That said, waiting an hour and a half for a plate of seafood spaghetti is unacceptable. Out of respect for the people accompanying us, I didn't leave early.

10/09/2025: We stumbled upon Il Giardino di Sicilia Milazzo while looking for a place to grab dinner. It was a perfect experience! The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely amazing! We ordered many different dishes and they even gave us a tasting portion of each dish for the table so everyone could try what the other was having. It was such a pleasant experience and i am tempted to book another flight to sicily simply to come back and eat here!

25/12/2025: An excellent Christmas lunch, free from the constraints of a fixed menu. It was like eating at home, with locally sourced ingredients and traditional cooking. The hostess was friendly, from the phone call to the reservation to the final bill. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to savor local cuisine.

21/12/2025: Excellent food and a rustic atmosphere, but the service needs improvement. We went to Da Ninazzu and were very impressed with the quality of the food: the house antipasto was rich and delicious, and the pizza was also really good. The restaurant is beautiful, with a rustic atmosphere that conveys the true essence of the trattoria. On the downside, the menu is overwhelming, limited, and offers very little choice. The service was also disappointing: the waitress insisted we order the antipasto, saying that the fries were "for kids." Finally, from 10:30 PM onwards, we felt "watched" and intimidated, as if they were in a hurry to close and wanted us to leave. A shame, because the food is worth it.

03/01/2026: Unacceptable and Discriminatory Behavior During my stay, I witnessed openly offensive and discriminatory comments directed at people from Catania, made by local customers. The most serious thing is that Giulio, a bar staff member, did not intervene in any way and openly agreed with those customers, allowing derogatory comparisons and stereotypes (such as the derogatory comparison of Catanese to Neapolitans) to be easily normalized. As a Catanese, I felt directly affected and deeply offended. A place that tolerates—or worse, ignores—this type of behavior lacks professionalism and respect for its customers. A terrible experience on a human level. I will not return, and I do not recommend the place to anyone expecting even a modicum of civility.
