We ate here twice. No fuzz, simple regional food well made and professionally served. Simple menu but with food others do not serve. Real home cooking as promised. We will come back.

Family-run restaurant with very reasonable prices. Excellent platters and first courses. The stuffed guinea fowl is delicious, and the artichoke flan is a must-try.

Castropub ( pizzeria, trattoria, pub)

04/02/2026: A must-see on the Sicilian culinary map. Excellent stockfish dishes enjoyed in a pleasant setting with a beautiful view, and of course, elegantly explained and served by the owner. Fried bread with wine this good has never been found anywhere else.
04/01/2026: Quaint place, exceptional food, reasonable prices. Definitely worth a try. We had fried appetizers and grilled meat, along with traditional desserts. Everything was excellent.

08/04/2026: Caffè macchiato with lots of bubbles and not creamy, frozen brioche and not crunchy, nice place. Paid 4.20 for two coffees and a brioche at the table on the veranda.
