20/08/2025: We went to Lido Lime in Santa Teresa di Riva for an evening event. The setting is nice, overlooking the beach, but it's still a beach club, so expectations can't be too high. Let's start with the location: the wooden slatted floor wasn't a particularly good choice. It wasn't perfectly assembled, and the gaps between the planks were so wide that they were dangerous for those wearing heels; someone actually tripped and nearly fell to the floor. The service, however, deserves praise: the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, a real plus (8/10). As for the food, unfortunately, nothing memorable: bland appetizers, average pizza, and rather mediocre first courses. The music didn't help either: the system often seemed to distort, resulting in a more annoying than pleasant result. Overall, the experience wasn't disastrous, but it wasn't particularly positive either. A 6/10 seems like the most fair rating.

18/08/2025: This morning I'm going from Catania to go to this beach. I should start by calling on Saturday afternoon to book three spots. The lady makes a reservation for us and says we're in the third row. We arrive at the beach and give the name on the reservation, but there's no reservation with this surname. The lady at the entrance calls the owner to find out the reason for this reservation. She tells us to go down and tell the lifeguard about spot numbers 51, 52, and 53. We realize that the spot is different from what she told us on the phone. We were in the sixth row. We ask the lifeguard about the reason for this spot and he didn't know anything. Annoyed by everything, we decided to go somewhere else. The lifeguard's response was, "You won't find anything anywhere else." Dear lifeguard, we've found better. I'll never set foot in this beach again. Zero welcome. As the owner, I would have solved the problem so as not to lose three spots, but that wasn't done.

08/08/2025: I had a truly excellent pizza, well-cooked and made with quality ingredients! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for flavor and authenticity. Special thanks to the waiter Samuel, who is friendly, helpful, and always attentive to his customers' needs. I will definitely be back!

06/06/2025: Bastante cerca de la perfección. Sí, es caro, pero para una experiencia gastronómica excelente fue simplemente increíble. Fantástico entorno en terreno privado, servicio impecable y comida fabulosa. El menú degustación era excelente

03/06/2025: De ninguna manera un mal restaurante, pero en este punto de precio se espera algo más; algo especial. Es casi como si tuvieran una arrogancia patrocinada por Michelin de que la comida por sí sola vale la pena ser admitida... y no es tan buena (¡aparte de los Tortellini!). Llegando a las 7: 25 pm para un 7 : 30 mesa, la puerta estaba cerrada y nadie nos saludó. Nos sentamos en el salón Ashbee hasta las 7:00: 45 pm preguntándose qué hacer. Nadie nos había dado la bienvenida, nos había reconocido, nos había saludado. Tuve que ir al restaurante y encontrar a alguien que nos ayudara a decirnos qué hacer. Esto puede sonar extraño, pero es más extraño porque el restaurante está en nuestro hotel y yo había tenido una charla sobre vinos con el sumiller unas horas antes. Todo encajaba con su general "la mayoría de las cosas son demasiado problema" y una falta de experiencia / servicio interactivo con una sonrisa. La comida era precisa y bien cocinada, pero carecía de un sabor o imaginación excepcional. IMHO, esto es típico de lo que Michelin 2 y 3 estrellas se han convertido . . . solo anticuado y protegiendo a sus estrellas. Una vez más, un buen restaurante, pero 1 estrella de cocina y 0. Servicio 5 estrellas.

07/08/2025: We had a very good meal. We found the "Gorgonzola Gnocchi," atypical for southern Italy, here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the pasta with seafood was also very tasty. We can't say that the waiters were unfriendly. Everyone was friendly, and they even swatted the wasps away from under our noses with an electric tennis racket. All good. Thank you.

05/08/2025: Think school canteen and you’ll not be far wrong. Food was fine, service needs improvement. Seated quickly, menus issued, drinks prompt. Food arrived and literally chucked on the table. Fish was fine but wasn’t filleted as per the menu and so was returned to the kitchen to be done. No Parmesan offered with the pasta - had to be asked for. First bottle of wine returned as it was corked. Water was good though.

11/08/2025: My wife and I were curious about this little restaurant on the stairs, and on our last night in Taormina we decided to try it out. We were really amazed at how safe the setup felt when we got seated. It had looked precarious, but it was fine. The food turned out to be some of the best we had throughout the city. My wife got a salmon lasagna of sorts, which sounded like a risky move. But she loved it, and the waiter was amazingly kind.

06/08/2025: It's a very cute and quaint place. The seafood appetizer was delicious, and the fish was fresh and very well cooked. The wine and service were also excellent. The staff was pleasant and friendly. A lovely evening, thank you.

18/05/2025: A panoramic, relaxing place, average food with limited first and second course offerings but with a very abundant and very varied appetizer The appetizer is the strong point personally I skipped the first courses because they were judged not interesting and chose a second course of grilled meat, satisfactory. 26/08/2025: A good seafood restaurant, welcoming, clean, with friendly staff and delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended. My only suggestion: better specify the asterisks in the margins of the menu. Thanks to the owner for the warm welcome; she was very courteous and super kind.

08/06/2025: All good, in keeping with the tradition of Messina rotisserie. Excellent focaccia with anchovies and arancini. To complete the evening, delicious croissants of excellent artisanal workmanship (not frozen).
