05/10/2025: Stopped here for a drink and a snack while on our way to Enna. It was a breezy October day (red flags were flying ) and the bar was quiet. We had drinks, chips and some chicken wings (which were not well cooked).The views of the beach were great - would love to come back here, in much warmer weather and explore this place, but for today we were just passing through.

21/09/2025: The overall experience was very unpleasant. The women's bathroom door wouldn't close, and there was no toilet paper or soap. The loungers were broken and difficult to adjust, and the sunshade constantly fell over your head. To make matters worse, at 5:00 PM they turned up the music at full blast, creating a disco atmosphere that made it impossible to sit back and enjoy the sea. In my opinion, the service doesn't live up to the prices charged. If an adequate level of service can't be guaranteed, then it would be better to lower the prices. Other beaches offer significantly better service.

20/08/2025: The best resort on Salina, from what we've seen, is the Aeolian Islands. A private beach with a wooden platform and lifeguards, a shaded olive grove with a kiosk, a restaurant, tables, and hammocks. And a magnificent botanical garden to stroll through. Perfect for those looking for amenities.

05/10/2025: Great place. I discovered delicious Sicilian craft beers there, I recommend the Ephesto beer! Possibility of eating good tapas alongside or a Sicilian salad.

04/10/2025: They charge coperto without explicitly stating it on the menu. They're breaking the law to rip off tourists.

17/09/2025: A pleasant resort with a spa. Spacious rooms and an on-site restaurant. The only downside is the lack of event planning (weddings and banquets), which clashes with the typical relaxation the average guest seeks in this type of place. Breakfast is plentiful and varied.

15/09/2025: Decent place. Absolutely unqualified staff. Ridiculous wellness center. The only positive note was the evening dinner and the waiter, Mr. Franco (a delightful person).

03/06/2025: De ninguna manera un mal restaurante, pero en este punto de precio se espera algo más; algo especial. Es casi como si tuvieran una arrogancia patrocinada por Michelin de que la comida por sí sola vale la pena ser admitida... y no es tan buena (¡aparte de los Tortellini!). Llegando a las 7: 25 pm para un 7 : 30 mesa, la puerta estaba cerrada y nadie nos saludó. Nos sentamos en el salón Ashbee hasta las 7:00: 45 pm preguntándose qué hacer. Nadie nos había dado la bienvenida, nos había reconocido, nos había saludado. Tuve que ir al restaurante y encontrar a alguien que nos ayudara a decirnos qué hacer. Esto puede sonar extraño, pero es más extraño porque el restaurante está en nuestro hotel y yo había tenido una charla sobre vinos con el sumiller unas horas antes. Todo encajaba con su general "la mayoría de las cosas son demasiado problema" y una falta de experiencia / servicio interactivo con una sonrisa. La comida era precisa y bien cocinada, pero carecía de un sabor o imaginación excepcional. IMHO, esto es típico de lo que Michelin 2 y 3 estrellas se han convertido . . . solo anticuado y protegiendo a sus estrellas. Una vez más, un buen restaurante, pero 1 estrella de cocina y 0. Servicio 5 estrellas.

14/09/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch today, choosing the €40 fixed menu, which included an appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, caponata (a type of caponata), fried foods, three first courses, meat-based second courses, fruit, and a dessert or coffee. When ordering, we asked if it was possible to share between couples, but were told this was not permitted. In the end, however, the courses were served to share, but the quantities were far from adequate for eight people: the portions were small and poorly prepared, and in some cases even disappointing in terms of food quality. The final part of the menu didn't improve the experience: the fruit consisted of a strawberry halved, a few cubes of melon, and two grapes per person; the dessert was a small ricotta cannoli, more symbolic than satisfying! As for the amaro, initially only five were brought, and the other three diners had to get up to ask for more. The service, inattentive and disorganized, also contributed to an overall unsatisfactory experience. Considering the price, quantity, and quality, unfortunately, the meal did not live up to expectations.

06/09/2025: I had dinner with my family at this restaurant. We had a wonderful time. As soon as we arrived, they gave us a truly wonderful table near the beach. Kudos to Sara for her kindness; she took care of us throughout the dinner. The young man who took our order was also excellent; he gave us some really good recommendations. We ate very well. The dishes were beautifully presented. Recommended.

30/08/2025: We ate deliciously at Nereo, on the charming little balcony overlooking the beach, which offers a truly magical atmosphere. The owner and staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional. An experience worth repeating!

23/09/2025: The pasta or primo piatto is unparalleled, full of flavor, exquisite. The second course, to be honest, didn't live up to what we'd already eaten. The dessert was very tasty, and the service was nothing special.

16/08/2025: Typical food with handmade sourdough. The service was spectacular. They served us today, even though we arrived a little late.

23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu. The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50. The cozze is a dream. Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).

22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.

01/10/2025: In September it is already a quiet place, you can sit inside the restaurant or outside with a sea view. The fritura mista is great, the service is pleasant.

25/09/2025: A true gem in the lower part of the village, just a few meters from the sea and the pebble beach. The food is a delight for the taste buds; you'll never want to leave the table. All the freshest local fish is served with kindness by the owner Aldo's sons, who are also extremely hospitable and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. The wine list is varied, featuring Sicilian products to suit all budgets. If you're near the village, stop here for an experience you won't soon forget.

13/09/2025: A charming, rustic restaurant just steps from the sea in Castel di Tusa. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Fresh fish. Good value. We'll be back if we have the opportunity.

19/08/2025: This place embodied what keeps Sicily from standing out above all others. A dinner for vacationers with a craving for meat. Five of us showed up and were seated at a table inside, which I was forced to appreciate, despite the heat and the mere presence of fans, since everywhere outside, people are still allowed to smoke rudely in front of those eating. People need to be legally obligated; respect and civic duty are nonexistent. Luckily, we were first to arrive, even though it was 8:00 PM. So, no delays with service. We skipped the first courses, ordering three appetizers to share and five second courses: fillets, tagliata, veal cheek, as well as a good 2017 Sicilian wine. All excellent. What's the flaw? The side dish for the two beef fillets, as per the menu, was "ash-fried potatoes"; the other three second courses included mashed potatoes. When the dishes arrived, they all contained mashed potatoes. Naturally, we prefer to eat hot, but as soon as one of the staff approaches, I ask why the side dish was changed from the menu, adding with a smile, "Maybe the chef didn't feel like making the potatoes à la citron." Unless I misunderstood, I was told the chef was on vacation and was handed the menu so I could verify what I was already sure of. Nothing more. I don't apologize for the forced change, but at least offer a half-word to justify it. Nothing at all. At the end of the dinner, I ask another woman in the dining room about it, who tells me they had a reception at lunch that messed everything up. End of excuse... But can you? If I order a pizza with chopped cherry tomatoes, can you just bring it to me with the sauce and not care? It's still tomato, right? What was the point of coming to the table before the dishes arrived and saying a few words about it? Who would have objected? Oh well, in Sicily, simmu cussi! I pay the bill, after pointing out the extra glass of wine I'd ordered before opting for the bottle, which is promptly deducted. I thank them for the excellent meat (not the side dish), say goodbye, and leave. Nothing is missing from achieving excellence. Except, perhaps, it doesn't matter. And as a native of the island, that's precisely what bothers me.

06/10/2025: Friendly staff. Excellent food and service. I'll stop by Rizzo every time I return to Messina.
