10/11/2025: We had a delicious pizza for lunch on the beach! With a bottle of wine. Everything they give you on the beach is plastic. The restaurant has a wider menu and better service. But I still recommend it. The guys are amazing! They never stop, serving everyone with the best attitude. We had a wonderful time!

01/10/2025: This restaurant has become a must-see for us. For the quality of its regional products and the flavors of yesteryear. The macaroni, a typical Calabrian dish, and the pipi and olives (dried peppers fried in a pan) remind me of the dishes my grandmothers used to make. Highly recommended. The welcome, the owners Roberto and his wife And their daughter Giada. The future is assured. I'll be back next month. Yet another trip to Calabria.

23/10/2025: This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

19/10/2025: The place is enchanting at first glance. The garden is beautifully kept, and the exposed stone gives the setting a sense of age. In short: beautiful! Except for the interior, which is a bit bare. The quality of the food is truly high. The raw fish is delicious, and the tagliolini with purple shrimp and Bronte pistachios are truly special. I highly recommend it! The value for money, for Taormina, is extremely good. The focaccia served with olive oil—a local custom, but usually only with bread—is also very good. The service is attentive. Nothing special, but definitely worthy of the place.

09/11/2025: I ordered Involtini Pesce Spada Fresco Grigliati alla Siciliana. The rolls were very small, Spada is very thin, ingredients not tasty, the fried batter outside is badly burnt. Why is this dish cost 32euros? The waiter was kind but the stern faced lady who seems to me the shopkeeper was rather curt and blunt, store-oriented style, reluctant to welcome a customer from the far east small island.

14/10/2025: My mother and I arrived here. We had planned to eat, but we decided to have a glass of wine. So we asked for the menu and ended up giving it back because we only wanted a glass of wine. A grumpy face immediately appeared. Well, we just accepted that until the bill finally arrived. €20 for two glasses of house wine. How badly can you get ripped off? I'd say if you only want a drink, go somewhere else quickly, because they'll rip you off right here.

10/10/2025: I think I've been a good customer and would have liked to continue being one, but the young owner is too fickle for my tastes, smiling and helpful one day, sulking and indolent the next when I ask a simple question. The service is decent but sometimes a bit counterintuitive. The rotisserie is decent but with above-average prices; the restaurant upstairs offers fairly good meat. What a shame! Customers, especially the good ones, need to be kept close. This review isn't about your competitors, but about a dissatisfied former customer.

23/09/2025: There's not much to say... I ordered pasta with sea urchins twice! My partner had never had it before and loved it. We arrived late (10 PM on Monday) because we were on a hike, so we called beforehand to make sure we could have dinner. Despite the hour, they welcomed us warmly and had us eating right away. I read in the reviews that the portions aren't generous: to be clear, compared to other more touristy places, that's true, but those are excessive and I can't finish them... so I think it's a question of expectations. But it's not a flaw! Precisely because the dishes are loaded with sauce (the pasta with sea urchins had so much fish - and it was real sea urchins!! Everything... which they often mix up) the prices? They're not high... it depends on the dish you order: it's perfectly normal for some ingredients to cost more. The staff was friendly and kind the whole time. I'm sorry I didn't take photos because I was too hungry 😆

01/12/2025: Yesterday I went to Marianna Agri Hotel for lunch, and I have to say it was a simply exceptional experience. The food was fantastic, with attention to every detail and truly amazing flavors, not to mention the incredibly low prices. A special thanks to the wait staff, who was incredibly sweet: attentive, smiling, and always available. She made lunch even more enjoyable. After lunch, we also had a massage, and I can say without exaggeration that it was truly heaven. Refined spaces, soothing aromas, perfect atmosphere: everything designed to help you completely unwind and recharge. It's a shame the website doesn't mention a spa lunch and massage package without an overnight stay for people like us who can't stay overnight because they work nights. We hope they update this because if you call, they'll send you the package on your cell phone; we, not knowing it, didn't have the materials to do the entire spa experience. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a day of total relaxation and pampering. I'll definitely be back! 💆‍♂️✨

12/11/2025: "Where's the Calamari?" My friend asked me when we ordered the Calamari pasta. This is the best way I can sum up our visit to Ingrid. For €18 it was terrible value and student quality food with barely any Calamari. The waiter told us there was no menu, which I found quite strange, felt like a way to invent a price on the spot and see if people will pay it. Left with with bad vibes from this place. Should have trusted my initial instinct, don't really get the good reviews.

06/11/2025: During our visit to Stromboli in early November, this was the only place to get a pizza after our volcano hike around 10 pm. The pizzas were delicious and the service was good. The homemade tartufo with cocoa powder was also very tasty. The next day we came for breakfast; the pistachio croissants were delicious and freshly filled upon request. We also ate lunch here before our ferry ride, as all the other restaurants had closed by 2 or 3 pm. Overall, highly recommended for a visit to Stromboli, no matter what time of day.
