08/03/2026: Nice place, but the quality/price ratio was absolutely absurd for what we ate. The €3 cover charge and €3 per bottle of purified tap water were already a bit of a turnoff, but it's okay. The prices are clearly written on the menu, and as soon as we saw them, we wondered for a moment whether we were in Milazzo, in front of the ferry docks, or in Portofino. Prices were definitely above average. But that's okay, if the product, quality, and quantity are satisfactory, no problem; we decided to give it a try. We ordered four calamaratas (€22 per dish), a spaghetti dish with clams (€25), and a pasta dish with tomato sauce and burrata (€18), two bottles of water (€6), a bottle of wine (€25), a cover charge of €3 per person, and we had to ask for the bread ourselves. Calamarata: a giant dish, but only 80 grams of pasta inside. Each dish literally had 3-4 shelled mussels, 3-4 shelled clams, and 2 pieces of squid. Furthermore, the mussels and clams were definitely not freshly cooked because they had the consistency of pre-cooked food. Taste? Absolutely average. 22 euros for a dish like that is absolutely outrageous, really! 10-15 euros is more than fair for the quality and quantity. Spaghetti with clams: arrived later than the other dishes. And if you want to position yourself in a high price range, you can't make an 8-year-old wait while watching others eat. But that's okay, that's not the problem; they apologized, and that happens. The dish: for the first time in my life, I saw spaghetti with clams without shells, but only with shelled clams. So the question is: were they fresh and did the chef bother to shell them one by one, or was it something from a can/frozen? Because if we order 7 spaghetti with clams, I'd like to see where he finds the time to shell them one by one while other orders arrive from other tables. The question remains, of course, but 25 euros is way too much for a dish like that. Maniche with tomato sauce and burrata... 18 euros. The kid liked them, but it was 7 sleeves of pasta 🤦‍♂️ We all had bread with the pasta to fill up a bit. Final result for 5 adults and 2 children: 7 first courses, 2 bottles of water, a bottle of wine for 25 euros: 200 euros to leave the table hungry. Given the quality of the first courses, we decided not to continue at this restaurant, but to finish lunch with granita and brioche at the restaurant next door. Around €30 per person. For the same quality...I repeat...for the same quality of food we were served, in almost all of Sicily, for this price, you'd eat at least double. Because if the quality had been worth it, we definitely would have ordered a second course, despite the above-average prices. In conclusion, I don't feel comfortable recommending this place for its quality/quantity/price ratio.

26/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, excellent seafood, and very friendly staff. My wife and I arrived without a reservation, but luckily there was room. We ate deliciously overlooking the harbor. Recommended.

01/08/2025: Our family stay at this agriturismo was pure magic. The tranquility, the stunning views of the mountains and Mount Etna, the pool, and all the activities for the kids were simply perfect. But the real highlight was the hospitality of Filippo and Rita and their incredible food. The homemade Sicilian dishes they served us every night, with fresh vegetables from their garden, were hands down the best we've ever tasted. Our kids even asked why we couldn't spend all vacations here!

25/12/2025: If we could give a sixth star for the service and atmosphere, we would. Massimiliano's welcome, going above and beyond to find solutions for us, even on Christmas Eve, is fabulous and warm. Thank you for these wonderful memories!

12/11/2025: "Where's the Calamari?" My friend asked me when we ordered the Calamari pasta. This is the best way I can sum up our visit to Ingrid. For €18 it was terrible value and student quality food with barely any Calamari. The waiter told us there was no menu, which I found quite strange, felt like a way to invent a price on the spot and see if people will pay it. Left with with bad vibes from this place. Should have trusted my initial instinct, don't really get the good reviews.

04/03/2026: My family and I had a terrible meal. The service was incredibly slow. We arrived at 1:30 PM and had lunch until almost 4 PM. Not only were we unable to enjoy the food, I didn't even find it to be of any quality.

13/12/2025: Stunning view, friendly staff. More attention should be paid to the tableware; there are some chipped glasses and a few stains on the tablecloths. These were reported immediately and resolved very quickly!

31/12/2025: is terrible, the food have no taste or taste bad. is expensive and 4€ only for the fork and the knife.

30/12/2025: Food was average, we got a fish from the specials which was a bit rubbery and the potatoes for garnish were just raw. Sea food pasta with clams and zucchini and mint was kind of ok.

09/11/2025: We’ve been all around Italy and have never had a bad meal until tonight. Terrible pizza, tasteless crust and toppings. Had the Seabass supposedly encrusted with almonds….. horrible as well. I saw someone at another table barely eat their pizza as well. Don’t go here.

07/11/2025: We had our first lunch of our 2 week Italy trip here. We loved the Margherita and pesto pizzas. My husband also got the gnocchi, which he loved. Cute outdoor spot for lunch, would recommend.

30/12/2025: We stopped by chance on December 30th. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. The fish dishes were excellent, and the first courses were delicious and plentiful! The prices were also fair for the quantity and quality.

04/01/2026: Truly an excellent "Calabrese" pizza, made with quality ingredients and easily digestible. I also had the opportunity to try other dishes and found fantastic meatballs and a top-quality, incredibly tender slice of beef. I will definitely be back.

19/08/2025: This place embodied what keeps Sicily from standing out above all others. A dinner for vacationers with a craving for meat. Five of us show up and are seated at a table inside, which I'm forced to appreciate, despite the heat and the mere presence of fans, since everywhere outside, people are still allowed to smoke rudely in front of those eating. People need to be legally obligated; respect and civic duty are nonexistent. Luckily, we were first to arrive, even though it was 8:00 PM. So, no delays with service. We skipped the first courses, ordering three appetizers to share and five second courses: fillets, tagliata, veal cheek, as well as a good 2017 Sicilian wine. All excellent. What's the flaw? The side dish for the two beef fillets, as per the menu, was "ash-fried potatoes"; the other three second courses included mashed potatoes. When the dishes arrived, they all contained mashed potatoes. Naturally, we prefer to eat hot, but as soon as one of the staff approaches, I ask why the side dish was changed from the menu, adding with a smile, "Maybe the chef didn't feel like making the potatoes à la citron." Unless I misunderstood, I was told the chef was on vacation and was handed the menu so I could verify what I was already sure of. Nothing more. I don't apologize for the forced change, but at least offer a half-word to justify it. Nothing at all. At the end of the dinner, I ask another woman in the dining room about it, who tells me they had a reception at lunch that messed everything up. End of excuse... But can you? If I order a pizza with chopped cherry tomatoes, can you just bring it to me with the sauce and not care? It's still tomato, right? What was the point of coming to the table before the dishes arrived and saying a few words about it? Who would have objected? Oh well, in Sicily, simmu cussi! I pay the bill, after pointing out the extra glass of wine I'd ordered before opting for the bottle, which is promptly deducted. I thank them for the excellent meat (not the side dish), say goodbye, and leave. Nothing is missing from achieving excellence. Except, perhaps, it doesn't matter. And as a native of the island, that's precisely what bothers me.

16/03/2026: The restaurant is excellent, the chef's dishes are excellent, and the service is very good. A word of caution: the restrooms require you to go down some unprotected stairs downstairs. Furthermore, the bathrooms aren't up to par with the restaurant.

08/03/2026: We had a tasting dinner and chose the fish option (Menu Mare & Aria). The price was €130 per person, and we were served 6 courses. I’m not really a “fish person”, but the flavors truly surprised and delighted me. At the same time, some of the combinations were quite… interesting 😄 The service was 12 out of 10. I have honestly never experienced service like this before, so it really impressed me. Overall, I would rate the experience 8.5 out of 10. It’s definitely worth trying and enjoying this kind of carefully created luxury 💚 Thank you!

23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu. The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50. The cozze is a dream. Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).

22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.
