What can I say...it was an explosion of flavors for our taste buds, of all the dishes! In a warm and familiar atmosphere, as if we were right at home! 23/12/2025: The place is similar to a trattoria, but with portions reminiscent of a fine-dining restaurant. Good, local food, simply prepared, reminiscent of home cooking (a much appreciated aspect). Fast service, though the dishes are not coordinated. The bathroom is spotless. The prices are a bit high.

23/04/2026: Upon arrival, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and we were welcomed warmly. However, after ordering fish and seafood, we had a very unpleasant experience with the food. It was all very tough and had an unpleasant smell; we could barely eat anything. The only thing that was decent was the seafood pasta. The service was also very slow with the drinks. A very, very bad experience.

13/04/2026: I celebrated my son's baptism. The manager immediately proved to be professional and guided us towards the menu best suited to our needs. During lunch, everything was perfect, from the aperitif to the cake, all homemade. The appetizers were generous and faithful to Sicilian excellence. The macaroni with Nebrodi pork ragù was amazing. The excellent service and the underlying kindness made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

01/05/2026: A place I would always recommend. We went for my mom's birthday, and I'd been there once before. The service is top-notch, friendly, and very knowledgeable, although there was a small mistake in the wine tasting, but it was completely forgivable and promptly resolved. The quality of the dishes is outstanding, with excellent ingredients and a refined and precise blend of ingredients, even though some pairings may seem unusual. The menu changes regularly, and the chefs thoroughly research potential new pairings. In my opinion, it's a restaurant that rivals any Michelin-starred restaurant I've been to. The value for money is excellent; we spent €50 each for appetizers, a main course, and a couple of glasses of wine—an excellent price for the quality of the dinner.

14/05/2026: I chose this venue to celebrate my little Andrea's baptism, and I couldn't have made a better choice❤️. Everything was simply perfect: impeccable organization, elegant and welcoming atmosphere, extremely kind and always smiling staff. A special thanks goes to Chef Salvatore, whom I sincerely consider one of the best in Messina. His dishes are spectacular: top quality, authentic flavors, impeccable presentation... every course won over all our guests! I still receive compliments on the food. Thank you so much for making my baby's baptism so special. You are a guarantee for us and will continue to be so. Highly recommended in every way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

13/05/2026: Personally, I found the service at L'OSSIDIANA restaurant to be generally positive. The prices were reasonable and the dishes were good. We'll definitely be back.
