11/08/2025: Beautiful highly recommended nice in everything.

01/08/2025: Our family stay at this agriturismo was pure magic. The tranquility, the stunning views of the mountains and Mount Etna, the pool, and all the activities for the kids were simply perfect. But the real highlight was the hospitality of Filippo and Rita and their incredible food. The homemade Sicilian dishes they served us every night, with fresh vegetables from their garden, were hands down the best we've ever tasted. Our kids even asked why we couldn't spend all vacations here!

29/09/2025: I had lunch here today, and the quality was exceptional. The food was of the highest quality and variety, and the service and staff were impeccable. The fish was incredibly fresh. I'd love to return.

09/09/2025: We were only visiting the restaurant, not the hotel. We sat outside and were served quickly. The courses were explained to us very well in English. We chose the appetizers and a main course (€35 per person), which included some drinks (soft drinks, wine, and shots at the end). The food came quickly and was very varied. Unfortunately, we were disturbed by a lot of wasps, but were then moved inside. There was a tour group of at least 100 Italian people inside (it was almost impossible to have a conversation). All in all, it was good, but definitely too much for us.

06/10/2025: Great restaurant with lovely food, the house starter was very filling and almost enough for a whole meal. Meat lovers will enjoy themselves here, well prepared and plenty of choice. Large portions, reasonably priced with high quality compared to larger cities.

01/10/2025: Hotel Metropole is definitely one of the most luxurious properties in Taormina and probably the one with the best location. You are right in the center of the action among restaurants , shops, boutiques and bars. If you want to go to the beach it is just a 10 min drive away.

29/09/2025: Tried to visit for lunch during the terrible weather on Saturday 27th September 2025. From start to finish it was a disaster. Told we were able to sit down near reception, asked for menus, then told we weren't due to tour and asked to go downstairs to their other restaurant (female member of staff with brown hair and Gucci belt) - other restaurant closed to due to the rain. Then told it was ok to sit somewhere else on the upstairs terrace by same member of staff and then told my male member of staff that food not possible. All very confusing and not what I would have expected for a hotel of this calibre. Mixed messages. Disappointing.

24/10/2025: All in all great food, excellent owner/staff and lovely little courtyard. Food was fresh and not rushed. We ordered a mix of seafood, meat and parmigano melanzane all went down a treat.

06/09/2025: The shrimp tartare was incredibly fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable: Giusy was incredibly kind, the waiters were helpful, and the staff was delightfully friendly. The price was fair for the quality. Highly recommended! Plus, you get the feeling of being in a genuine, authentic, and welcoming place.

20/10/2025: This restaurant offers an oasis away from the crowds with a wonderful garden view and lots of fresh air. The seafood menu, along with the pasta and great service are a real winner.

Served in small portions, one after another, on multiple plates :) Delicious and fresh, tried many times and always delicious. Spaghetti with seafood... mmmm :) I RECOMMEND P.S. 17/10/2025: The accommodation is beautifully landscaped. The room is clean and spacious. Tanja is very friendly and helpful at breakfast. She also speaks German. As a German, you'll need plenty of time at the restaurant. From appetizer to main course, it takes 1.5 hours. We were told that's normal in Sicily. 🤔 We'll see, we'll try a different restaurant tomorrow.

01/10/2025: Carletto in Sant'Angela di Militello was a truly pleasant experience. Everything was excellent, from the welcome to the service, and, of course, the food. Among the dishes, the swordfish rolls stand out, a true house specialty: tender, flavorful, and grilled. A delicacy truly worth trying.

30/09/2025: The food may be good, with Carletto cooking by the outdoor fireplace, and working really hard, but the waiters don't pay attention to you. From the moment you arrive, you choose your table, otherwise no one tells you where to sit. A good 20 minutes passed before I ordered. The mussels for the appetizer were large, but they didn't seem fresh. At least in Sicily, fish should be eaten well. I asked for coffee, and the waiter was talking to known customers and replied as if to say, "Yeah, okay, I'm coming..." and continued calmly, ignoring my request. I wouldn't recommend it because there are only 2 or 3 waiters, the place is large, and you risk ending up like a piece of junk.

29/09/2025: Sunday lunch featuring meat, appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Little to no organization, too long to order, and orders randomly, people waiting half an hour to order, and the last ones to arrive ordered first. Let's start with the appetizers: besides arriving randomly and not in order of arrival, the dishes were large in quantity but of poor quality. The first courses (fresh macaroni with pork sauce and tagliatelle with mushrooms) were tough pasta and flavorless in sauce, all left on the plate. After eating the second courses in installments, I couldn't eat them. My children waited two hours for their meal; the cutlet didn't taste like a cutlet, but it looked and tasted awful, it tasted like fish. The meat was falling apart and left on the plate. I reported all my complaints to the waitress, who told me I'd refresh it in the kitchen, but she didn't respond. I imagine the owner pretending not to notice, so I paid my bill and left. Highly not recommended.

29/09/2025: Absolutely the best dinner experience in Malfa. Pizza was neapolitano style and oneof the best we ever had. Ambiente was great, with live music! Service was more then just friendly! Highly recommended!

15/09/2025: A charming place with fabulous high-quality culinary choices in a beautiful setting. Alessandro provided excellent service and made the whole experience truly memorable and authentic. Definitely worth the short walk off the main strip! You won't regret it.

28/09/2025: Nice charcuterie board and amazing pizza. The staff was friendly and the location was nice and with a warm atmosphere. Not very expensive, about 67€ for the charcuterie board, two pizza, half a litre of white wine, one limoncelo spritz and we brought a few pieces of pizza that we couldn't finish. Highly recommend.
