13/02/2026: Having had the experience at the Cyclope, which we didn't know was under the same management, we were looking for a place to eat well. I must say the food was decent, but the tiramisu was terrible, so much so that we vomited all night. I remind you of one fundamental thing: a second course must be served strictly cut on a flat plate. Perhaps because there was a group and they didn't have plates, it was served on a very deep plate. It was poorly cooked, a shame.

04/12/2025: We're so happy to have chosen Dejavu as the venue for our wedding on June 15, 2025. Luisa and her staff were available, professional, and attentive from the very first meeting. We decided to celebrate the civil ceremony on the beach, and I have nothing else to add other than that it was magnificent. The venue speaks for itself, as does the attention to detail. Exchanging vows at sunset was ethereal. The aperitif by the sea was exceptional, and we received compliments from all our guests, especially for the oyster corner: we were told they were the best oysters we've ever eaten, and to be honest, we can only confirm that! Regarding the wedding dinner in the garden, the setting with the starry sky was magical, and the food was excellent. We started planning the wedding two years in advance, and the menu tasting took place just as long ago, so we couldn't wait to enjoy our chosen menu, which absolutely lived up to expectations. The food was plentiful, high-quality, and delicious! Also not to be overlooked was the seamless organization from start to finish, which is essential for a successful wedding. We received compliments from everyone not only on the food but also on the location, which was extremely beautiful and elegant. As for us: it was the best day of our lives. Everything was wonderful; we wouldn't change a thing because it was perfect just the way it was. We wholeheartedly recommend Dejavu to anyone looking for an enchanting location, serious, competent professionals who are passionate about their craft. Thanks to Luisa and her staff for making our day even more beautiful! ♥️

The staff was available, attentive, and always smiling, ready to satisfy every request, both ours and our guests'. The service was impeccable, the cuisine exceptional, and the location dreamy—everything contributed to making the day truly unforgettable. Even the vendors Luisa recommended, from the pastry shop to the wedding planner to the children's entertainer, were professional, helpful, and offered excellent value for money, fulfilling our every wish. All our guests complimented us, and we can only extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff for the professionalism and passion with which they made our wedding special. If you dream of a fairytale day, it can come true with deja vu.

We entered and were immediately welcomed not as guests but as part of a project, an idea of ​​a finally human space on a human scale. The food was excellent, but before even tasting, we were already satisfied and deeply moved. After a while, the lady said, "Trust me," and from there, an explosion of flavors, just like in the old days. Not everything locally sourced, as the posh ones say, but everything from their land and their relatives, cooked without frills, but as they should be, simply and beautifully! And last but not least, go and see how beautiful the place is. Its living space, its soul, the open kitchen, and after all this, you'll understand the essence: far from red prawns, here we're serving prawns with the whole red family!

28/09/2025: Nice charcuterie board and amazing pizza. The staff was friendly and the location was nice and with a warm atmosphere. Not very expensive, about 67€ for the charcuterie board, two pizza, half a litre of white wine, one limoncelo spritz and we brought a few pieces of pizza that we couldn't finish. Highly recommend.

23/04/2026: Upon arrival, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and we were welcomed warmly. However, after ordering fish and seafood, we had a very unpleasant experience with the food. It was all very tough and had an unpleasant smell; we could barely eat anything. The only thing that was decent was the seafood pasta. The service was also very slow with the drinks. A very, very bad experience.

13/04/2026: I celebrated my son's baptism. The manager immediately proved to be professional and guided us towards the menu best suited to our needs. During lunch, everything was perfect, from the aperitif to the cake, all homemade. The appetizers were generous and faithful to Sicilian excellence. The macaroni with Nebrodi pork ragù was amazing. The excellent service and the underlying kindness made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

03/02/2026: Not a positive experience, on the contrary!!! Very expensive. That day there was a fixed menu for €45 per person, which we didn't choose because it was too much for us. We only chose two courses from the menu, and were told that if we had chosen the courses separately the prices would have been different, but they hadn't imagined this. We had a lentil mousse and a main course: 1 shrimp with 1 artichoke and shaved parmesan. 1/4 bottle of house wine and a chocolate heart for dessert. €97 Luckily we got the 7-euro discount! Had we known, we would have ordered the full menu and spent even less, paradoxically. The dishes were a bit sparse. The receipt was unclear, very unclear, which bears witness to what was said. We don't recommend it. I'm replying in my own review because there's no other way to respond to the Osteria. I even more strongly discourage this place, and I'd add that we wholeheartedly welcome the advice to eat a sandwich because when we decide to sit down in a restaurant, we choose by looking at the paper menu or even online, but certainly by the prices listed, not verbally, without knowing the cost of the dishes. Indeed, a self-respecting restaurant that respects its customers would also list the costs of all dishes externally, or at least bring the menu to the table. And always considering a self-respecting restaurant that deserves to be called such, it doesn't issue a receipt indicating: Main courses €90 as an indication of the entire meal. And in response to the negative review, he commented: "Let's do the math together." Math isn't done together, it's put on the receipt!! I'd add that this place is only an Osteria in name. As for the compliments, they were undoubtedly deserved, and I reiterate that the dishes were good. In fact, I noted in the review, and I emphasize again, that the dishes were sparse, as you can see from the photos, and also expensive. We will definitely return, as I said, because the islands are very charming. We certainly won't choose this Osteria, but rather some other place that doesn't aim to exploit customers.

07/08/2025: After two weeks in Taormina, we discovered this hidden gem on our last day and what a wonderful surprise! The warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the kind family who runs the place made us feel right at home. The food was exactly what we needed: comforting and full of flavor. The vegetable soup was absolutely delicious, the lamb cotoletta was tender and perfectly cooked, and the tagliatelle and swordfish rolls were just fantastic. On top of all that, the prices were the best we found in Taormina — great quality without the tourist mark-up. I only wish we had found this place sooner! Highly recommended.
