22/03/2025: The waiter or owner was rude beyond belief. We ate a big breakfast that morning and just arrived in Naples. We were not that hungry and just eager to try out what Naples has to offer. I ordered a seafood spaghetti. The guy said each person must order a dish with a stern face. So I ordered another pizza and one water to share. Again, the guy said each person must order a drink. Another drink was ordered but he was visibly upset after the order. My guess is that he was thinking "unbelievably cheap tourists". I found that at the next table there were 5 Italians dining. They all ordered inexpensive pizzas and shared one water. We came from Northern Italy and had a very good experience with Italy. The south seems to be different in a negative way. This is really an experience of my life in a bad way.

05/01/2025: Nos alojamos en la exquisita ciudad de Taormina, y deambulamos por allí. El chef es excelente, y la comida fue realmente memorable. ¡La pieza de resistencia fue el mejor cannoli siciliano que hemos probado! Fue una revelación y estableció un estándar al que nunca se podrá volver a acercar.

01/01/2025: Excelente restaurante en el centro de Taormina. La comida deliciosa, tanto los entrantes (probamos el pulpo que estaba delicioso). La pasta, el pescado y las carnes espectaculares. Los postres deliciosos. El servicio excelente y el ambiente tranquilo. Muy recomendable.

22/02/2025: A delightful place, super welcoming and very elegant. The very kind owner explains with each course how the dish is made. For those who want to try dishes with delicious flavors, you can only choose this place! I was speechless by the perfection of the dishes and the kindness of the chef, incredible!

12/11/2024: Whilst a very similar menu to all the other restaurants nearby we quite liked this place. Its hard to find quality restaurants in Giardina Naxos as most places have more of a a cafe like feel. I had a veal chop and partner fillet steak with porcini sauce. Whilst perfectly acceptable and tasty it did lack a little bit of finesse , guess I'm used to quality city restaurants, its nice to eat more rustically now and again and this fits the bill perfectly !

18/09/2024: Sehr gut besuchtes Lokal in italienisch/sizilianischen Stil. Freundlicher Service, und sehr gutes Essen. Die Portionen sind absolut ok. Die Involtini di melanzane (Auberginen-Röllchen) sind ein Kracher. Für den roten Hauswein gibts von mir leichten Abzug, aber das ist mein subjektiver Eindruck. Die Bestuhlung ist eng, entsprechend hoch ist der Lärmpegel, aber hey… wir sind hier im tiefen Süden. Alles in allen war wir sehr zufrieden

03/03/2025: The name "Casa & Putia" had led me to expect a more authentically Sicilian setting. However, I recognize that decor is a matter of personal taste. My dining experience, during the end-of-year dinner with colleagues, was rather disappointing. The wait was prolonged and the decomposed cuttlefish dish did not meet my approval: the complexity of the flavor was indecipherable to me and the presentation was far too simple. A colleague, not a fan of fish, received a broth with tortellini which I considered inadequate compared to the overall price of the meal. It seems to me that the quality of the restaurant has dropped compared to my previous visits. The only positive aspect was the aperitif offered, which I found very good.

16/02/2025: Excellent choice 👍 we went for lunch, we tasted some real delicacies; various well-presented appetizers of excellent quality, first course: homemade macaroni in black pork sauce, second course: mixed grill, strictly black pork and potatoes from the garden baked in the oven, what can I say, everything delicious. Rustic, welcoming and clean environment; the owner made us feel at home; kind and helpful staff. The prices are adequate in relation to the quality. We will gladly return to Badia a Ficarra, moreover it is a fascinating and elegant place, you can breathe the sea and mountain air, you can enjoy a magnificent view. I recommend booking the Badia is appreciated by many👏

22/01/2025: Restaurant in the port area of ​​Milazzo. Despite the location in a busy area, once you enter it seems like you are in another place. Nice environment and attentive and kind service. We chose a tasting starter with raw and cooked options. Very good and adequate portions to share with a second person. First courses also delicious and finally fresh desserts. Even if the price is a little above average, it is among the top 3 fish restaurants in Milazzo in my opinion. Super recommended.

07/12/2024: Loved our time here - went a few times in August! Lovely lunches and a great beach. Actually one of the best pizzas I had in Taormina!
