24/07/2026: I don't usually leave negative reviews, nor do I enjoy doing so. I chose this place based on the good reviews. A fish-based dinner for two: €43 per person, including a mixed fish appetizer, two grilled fish dishes, two side dishes, one water, and two coffees. I wouldn't have considered it excessive if the fish had been well-cooked and in sufficient quantity, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case (some pieces of fish in the grill were really tough and difficult to chew). Perhaps it would have been better if we had opted for a first course.

21/07/2026: Excellent restaurant for dinner in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto! The place is charming and elegant, the service super fast and attentive. The gentleman who recommended the wine was truly welcoming and friendly. I recommend the swordfish caponata and the deconstructed cannoli.

29/07/2026: The quality of the food and service was excellent. Among the dishes on the menu, I would recommend the prawns and spaghetti with bottarga and ricotta mousse, truly exceptional. The atmosphere was truly unique. Of the restaurants where we dined during our stay in Panarea, I would consider this place the best for its atmosphere and good food. Highly recommended!!!!!

26/07/2026: We were unable to share our experience at this restaurant. We waited outside for 10 minutes, with several servers passing by. None of them came to greet us. We finally called them over, only for them to tell us they couldn't seat us even though the restaurant wasn't full! I gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero! I strongly advise against going there! Judging by the owner's comment, perhaps he's the one who needs to control his anger. He doesn't know how to respond to negative comments without aggression. These responses should be constructive for improvement. Your server could have simply said, "We're fully booked, please consider making a reservation for next time," with a smile. Best of luck.

25/07/2026: Disappointed by our experience. We stood in front of the servers for about ten minutes without anyone even glancing at us or saying a word. After a while, we had to ask a server if it was still possible to have dinner. He simply shook his head and told us it wasn't, without a word. We completely understand that a restaurant can't accommodate a group of 10 people without a reservation. That wasn't what bothered us. What really disappointed us was the lack of consideration and the feeling of being completely ignored. A simple "good evening," a few words of explanation, and a smile would have been enough to make the situation much more pleasant. It's a shame, because the food looked very appetizing, and we came looking forward to discovering the establishment. I'm not in the habit of leaving negative reviews, but this experience really affected me. All customers deserve to be treated with respect, whether they have booked or not.

03/08/2026: A stay with top marks. We'll definitely be back. We stayed at the Agriturismo "Agri Hotel Da Marianna" and were truly won over. As soon as you enter the apartment, you immediately breathe in the fresh, fragrant air: it's the first thing you notice and makes you feel instantly at home. The cleanliness is meticulous in every detail, and the room is tastefully and carefully furnished. You can tell they care. The owner, Luciano, and his brother are available, attentive, super welcoming, and ready to satisfy your every need. Every morning, they recommended excursions or beautiful places to visit, providing us with all the information we needed. A rare kindness. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, but the special touch was that every morning there was a different cake and pancake with homemade jam. A delight! The food is excellent, but special praise goes to Tomas, who takes care of the roast: he has a real talent and a unique taste. The staff are also young but incredibly friendly and ready to answer any questions with a smile. The location is strategic: perfect for those who want to relax, visit Sicily's most beautiful villages, go on excursions, and, if you want, even get to the sea in a short distance. Highly recommended! An authentic, thoughtful, and warm experience.

11/07/2026: We ate at this restaurant a few weeks ago because it's right down the street, and since it's a trattoria, the food is usually good. My partner and I chose the outdoor area, which wasn't very well-maintained and had mosquitoes. The food was bland, the wine wasn't great, the raw fish was flavorless, and the soup was way too much for one person, and it's obviously expensive. It was a disappointment, especially since the sign on the street shows photos of the dishes that bear no resemblance to the real thing.

05/07/2026: This is, without exaggeration, the worst place in Taormina. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. We arrived around 8:30 PM, and there was only one other table occupied. You'd think that with such a busy environment, the service would be excellent. But it was quite the opposite. The service was terrible from the very beginning. They didn't help us choose our dishes or even properly answer basic questions about the ingredients in the salad. When we said we wanted to think a little more before ordering, the employee demonstratively grimaced, turned around, and left. After that, practically no one came to us. They only remembered us when the dishes arrived. Now about the food. We ordered the Fish Grill Set, and it was a complete disappointment. Almost all the seafood was overcooked and bitter. There was sand in the shrimp. The fish was inedible – dry and burnt. The only decent thing was the potatoes. Thank goodness for them, at least. And the final touch—they completely forgot to bring our salad. The very salad we'd asked about several times. They simply forgot about it. We haven't experienced such poor service and such substandard food in a long time. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Taormina has countless wonderful restaurants—don't waste your time or money here.

02/08/2026: A typical seafood restaurant. The food is good and offers a wide variety of choices. The prices are reasonable. The portions are generous. The service is excellent. Definitely recommended. Reservations are recommended, especially on summer weekends.

09/08/2026: An unexpected, typically Sicilian return A very comfortable beach, with deckchairs and sun loungers at a very reasonable price. Compared to other beaches, this one struck us for its authenticity. It has showers and a simple, traditional restaurant. Mrs. Carmelina welcomed us with a smile and kindness. Crystal-clear water and a peaceful atmosphere. We also ate very well and will definitely return. I recommend it!!

21/07/2026: We arrived from Hotel Bel Soggiornó by transfer. The price of 18E/person includes a sunbed and umbrella as well as the round-trip transfer. The beach has a beautiful view of the open sea. This is a quieter, calmer and less crowded stretch of beach. There is also a shower, which you don't have to pay extra for. The restaurant has very delicious pasta and fish dishes, salads at a reasonable price, between 10-20 Euros. Panini is 6 Euros. Espresso is 1 Euro! I couldn't believe it! The service is courteous and polite, fast. We remember the time spent here with fondness!

01/08/2026: The pasta was amazing and the mushroom risotto was so good it may have ruined mushroom risotto for me back home. Do not miss the wonderful and shaded patio.
