18/02/2025: We stayed here for two days. Super clean rooms equipped with every comfort. Same thing for the spa. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Excellent restaurant! The food is so good that we didn't have to look for other restaurants. I recommend the meat! Courteous staff attentive to details and customer requests. Tommy in particular, in two days he became a friend! We will definitely return

17/02/2025: My husband and I were there on Tuesday 11th February and we treated ourselves to an afternoon of spa and massage!! what can I say, excellent welcome from Miss Fabiana who welcomed us in a spectacular way, showed us the entire center and pampered us with a magnificent massage... highly recommended, we will definitely return

11/11/2024: C'è stato consigliato il posto da amici, e non potevamo rimanere più contenti di così. Il posto è tranquillo, verso la fine del lungomare, con un bellissimo scorcio sull'acqua, ma il pranzo è stato in tutti i sensi il piatto forte. Abbiamo mangiato il miglior crudo del viaggio ed il polpo sul letto di purè era semplicemente meraviglioso, per non parlare dei Busi con ricciola e pomodorini, spettacolare anche quelli. Eccellente anche la scelta dei vini, che spaziava dai numerosissimi vini locali ai più familiari vini nazionali, noi ne abbiamo provato uno locale che ci è stato consigliato dal cameriere e ci è piaciuto molto. In sintesi lo consigliamo vivamente, e se doveste anche solo passare a Patti perché di strada come è capitato a noi, fermatevi, non ve ne pentirete

01/11/2024: Abbiamo pranzato alla risacca oggi , siamo rimasti soddisfatti, la cernia al vspore era squisita, la pasta con la ricciola idem, cannolo scomposto per chiudere in bellezza.

28/12/2024: 110 cum laude restaurant. It will be the fifth time I've come, the first in winter, and I know I'll always go without fail. Very nice place, well furnished and with a nice open kitchen, which I find really tasteful. Very courteous, friendly and professional staff. Excellent food. Starting from the bread basket, with an excellent focaccia and a delicious crunchy crust with seeds and cereals. I only take the 5-course tasting menu, a gastronomic journey (always different or in any case revised) of the highest level. This time they served us a delicious savory cappuccino with potato and wasabi foam, spirulina powder and raw prawn at the bottom, served with a homemade cereal croissant. Then a roasted octopus tentacle cooked to perfection with pumpkin cream and basil sauce and cocoa nibs (brilliant idea because the bitterness of the cocoa gave the dish an indescribable strength). The first was cacio e pepe with homemade rigatoni (and you could taste the difference) with seared prawn, super. For second, a very soft slice of red snapper with seared skin (I suspect it has been caramelised, an aspect which I still appreciated) with a full-bodied wakame seaweed and a chickpea cream. Since there were two of us, the desserts were different. The first is a mix of a gianduja pudding with salted caramel, vanilla ice cream and mint, the second is a sweet pastry (like chiacchiere) with sweet ricotta, strawberries and candied orange. Super recommended!

03/11/2024: I found very friendly staff and excellent quality food. Very welcoming and well organized place... like the owners, wonderful people. Service quite fast despite it being a public holiday. Dishes well cooked and set up with a touch of class. Highly recommended 🤗

09/03/2025: My sweetheart and I were guests of the facility for an afternoon, through a Spa package that offered, in addition to the wellness program, a tasting of three red wines. The environment is welcoming and incredibly relaxing right from the Reception. Once we arrived, they accompanied us to the pedestrian path that surrounds the internal patio where the swimming pool dominates. A walk that ends with the entrance to the Spa. In my opinion, the latter is small but structured in a decidedly functional way, everything very clean. The staff is kind and empathetic. After the wellness program, they made us sit in a room and served us the wines together with the finger food, all very good. I remember with great pleasure the person who served us, Mr. Claudio. An example of how one should work. He served us impeccably, explaining in detail each wine and the food served. I could add more positive things to our experience but I won't go on. In an area where every reception facility flaunts itself, in my opinion Pietre Nere is a world apart, made of elegance, refinement and relaxation.

04/03/2025: Beautiful experience..Location immersed in the Modica countryside, unique in its kind. I highly recommend trying it. The only 4-star point, the SPA, small, lacks the pool that would bring it to 5 stars.. The staff is top.. I will gladly return.

23/03/2025: Este es un restaurante encantador y el servicio fue excelente (todo muy amable). El menú principalmente de mariscos es bueno y sacan el pescado fresco y te lo explican todo, lo cual es genial. Y aunque pensamos que la comida era buena, el precio (200 € para 2 personas que tienen 2 platos y vino) no se sentía muy vale la pena dado qué más se puede encontrar en la ciudad. Todavía una noche agradable.

21/03/2025: Best meal we have had in Sicily. Jaqueline was a wonderful hostess (owner), so welcoming and patient with all our questions. Fish specials were excellent. And the best bread and olive oil!

17/03/2025: Durante nuestra estancia de 4 noches en Taormina cenamos 2 de las noches en Casa Niclodi. La atención recibida de Maurizio y el personal realmente nos hizo sentir bienvenidos en esta joya escondida del paseo peatonal principal, Corso Umberto. El ambiente interior (todavía demasiado frío para comer al aire libre) es de muy buen gusto y te hace sentir como si estuvieras en una villa siciliana... .. que en realidad era anterior. La comida es fabulosa y estuvimos más que contentos de tomar recomendaciones tanto de comida como de vino de Maurizio, que es parte de la propiedad familiar. Durante las dos visitas, tuvimos pasta de tinta de calamar, ensalada de gambas rojas, ensalada de alcachofas y gambas, pasta de pez espada y carne de res con setas y trufa. ¡Todo magnífico! Nuestro otro camarero que queremos reconocer es Davide en la noche 1 y Vitale en la noche 2. Entre todos ellos nos atendieron personalmente ambas noches y tuvimos varias conversaciones sobre la vida en Sicilia. Esta es una de nuestras partes favoritas de los viajes, realmente conocer un poco sobre las personas que viven y trabajan allí Tenemos la suerte de haber viajado por el mundo y haber estado en algunos restaurantes fabulosos, y podemos decir que este es un top 5 para nosotros. Puede hacer frente a cualquier lugar, en cualquier lugar para el servicio y la calidad. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que visite Taormina!

05/01/2025: Wonderful restaurant, and in the summer, as I did, I booked on the beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the entire gulf.. I took a long time to write this review, but it deserves so much that I didn't write it.. Anyway, in addition to the beautiful location, what can I say about the exquisite and attentive staff .. For example, being celiac, I need extra attention and without a doubt there was... Very attentive to Gluten free, they have pasta and bread and even desserts.. All really excellent

The owner only selects natural, local products and ingredients in order to create delicious dishes of the sicilian and italian tradition. The restaurant is full of interesting paintings, quotes, and objects with amazing stories about them. As you enjoy the extraordinary and diverse dishes, which are perfectly cooked and seasoned, the owner chats with you about the dishes and just about anything else you want. No matter where you find yourself, do travel as many as needed to this beautiful place and to this restaurant, it will be worth it.
