11/10/2025: It’s a close 4. We did enjoy our evening here and most reviews are close to the truth. It’s not spectacular but it’s far from the bad reviews that drag it down. The service was really good, being from Canada our Sicilian (Italian) is non-existent at best so from the moment we arrived we were greeted in English, it’s a little thing but makes a difference. The carafe of red was exactly as I expected and since I only drink red wine in Italy (sue me) I loved it! The bruschetta was fine, nothing to rave about and the same about the scampi pasta. But the fresh sea bass with potatoes and grilled veg was excellent. We were there second week of October so it was quieter but the terrace was still fairly busy. We enjoyed it but it didn’t stand out as a return trip.

16/09/2025: A true gem in Taormina. Fresh, beautifully presented dishes (the tuna tataki was outstanding) and some of the best service we’ve had in 3 weeks across Italy and Sicily. Warm, professional, and delicious – highly recommend.

10/09/2025: What an incredible experience at Villa Ducale. EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, their team made us feel so comfortable. The front desk ladies gave us a glass of champagne, gave us directions and let us check in early. The hotel and rooms were beautiful and had the best views in all of Taormina. The restaurant, food and ambiance was divine! The staff knew it was my birthday, sang me happy birthday and gave me cannoli and tiramisu. Overall, the experience was incredible. Thank you so much to the staff for making the such an amazing stay!

09/09/2025: BEST HOTEL Experience & staff is amazing. My husband and I didn’t want to leave. Honestly it should be considered a 5 star hotel based on the rooms and quality of service you get. They have a shuttle to take you into town and are so accommodating.

17/10/2025: Just a few meters from the Roccalumera exit, this restaurant offers a Sicilian atmosphere and a family atmosphere that you can feel as soon as you walk in the door. The cuisine is homemade and therefore delicious, and the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is truly delicious, with everything fresh, from the vegetables to the fish, all locally sourced. I've been there twice already, and they definitely won't be the last!

11/10/2025: The dishes are authentic, the atmosphere is very refined and unique. Mrs. Teresa is incredibly friendly and a wonderful person who, when she talks about her work, conveys all the passion and love she puts into it!

27/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this family-run restaurant. It's a bit outside of Milazzo's city center, so it's best to drive (there's plenty of parking). Prices are average, but the quality is superior to many other restaurants we've tried in the city center. Friendly service.

27/09/2025: A small restaurant serving exclusively seafood (the owner lets you know as soon as you book). The menu is small but based on the freshest ingredients available. Highly recommended. Prices are average for the area.

30/08/2025: We stayed at this property for 2 days. A charming place, just a few kilometers from the lively tide. It's the perfect base for reaching the beautiful coasts and neighboring towns. The room was quiet and clean; we slept wonderfully. The breakfast was good, with some local products. The pool was adequate and surrounded by greenery. Highly recommended.

08/10/2025: First of all, this restaurant is very good for Russian speakers because the waitress speaks Russian (I think she's Ukrainian according to the flag on the wall). The other thing is that the food is ordinary: the Bolognese, the tuna, the fritto misto di giorno are Roman-style squid🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️Where "misto" got lost, I don't know🤷🏽‍♀️I'm not satisfied with this restaurant. I have the feeling that I paid for something I didn't want... The tastes are ordinary, like the presentation. The waiters are good (I hope it wasn't the waitress's mistake with the squid dish), the atmosphere (in October 2025) was quiet, without noise, and we liked it.

19/10/2025: We got 2 appetizers and 4 dishes and all were delicious! If you want seafood in Naples this was a great place to eat.

19/10/2025: I don’t know a lot about Italian food, but here’s what I know: I’ve been in Italy for a month and this was the best meal I’ve had. Amazing. Crazy good. The melon prosciutto was so good - I couldn’t believe it. I had pizza; everyone else had pasta. Everything was great. So fairly priced. Stay away from the touristy places and go where the locals go, which is here.

22/10/2025: We arrived well ahead of our scheduled time, but despite this, and despite there being seven of us, we were greeted with great kindness and courtesy by the "hostess" (I call her that because it was like being her guests, not just customers). Given how early we arrived, a long wait would have been the least we could have expected, but instead, none of that happened; we were served in a very reasonable amount of time. As for the dishes they served (all of which were very popular), I can say that the ingredients used were incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The combinations were spot on, and the food didn't taste at all of MSG (as is often the case in some restaurants), yet each ingredient retained its own flavor, lending each dish its own contribution to a pleasant harmony on the palate. The staff seemed very attentive and eager to accommodate our requests, and all of this happened with a packed restaurant! As for the bill, we paid a little below average for a seafood lunch, but I repeat, the quality was far superior. What more can I say? I think we'll definitely return to this welcoming restaurant in the future, and I recommend everyone reading this to try it. I returned with the same group of friends after two years due to COVID, which brought the entire world to a standstill. What more can I add to what I've already written? An old saying goes, "It can get worse." Well, if you come to Vincenzo, and return after a while, you'll discover that "it can get better" too. The staff is welcoming and attentive to your every need, and the dishes are always top-quality and in keeping with the best Sicilian tradition. The owner, despite the restaurant being packed with customers, carried out her duties as if she were in the privacy of her own kitchen, not failing to exchange jokes with us and other customers, a sign of a certain confidence in the trust she has in the dining room and kitchen staff. I confirm the five stars and regret not being able to add more. I thought I could stop here with my praise for this place, but instead I'm back to heaping praise upon praise. The location had already changed a few years ago, when they moved a hundred meters or so in the direction of Messina, but returning today with the same group as always, we discovered that the place has been completely renovated. We can certainly say that their passion for preparing the food, always delicious and using fresh ingredients, has also been reflected in the care with which they have furnished the rooms, making the restaurant a refined and welcoming environment. Nothing to add to the proverbial courtesy of the staff, from the lady to her son, attentive and quick to understand and interpret the customers' needs. Last but not least, Mr. Vincenzo is excellent, an excellent chef and creator of the always flavorful dishes served. It's a shame we can't give more than five stars, but they would all be well deserved! This place definitely deserves to be included among those you should visit often! I keep coming to this welcoming and peaceful place and feel right at home. The dishes are always top-notch, both in terms of flavor and freshness. The generous portions have become legendary. The waiters, Hamza among them, are also friendly and welcoming, but the others are no exception. The five-star rating has been confirmed again this year. Always well-deserved.

21/10/2025: We happened upon the restaurant by chance. The food is incredibly delicious, the pizza super light and freshly topped. The Sicilian starter (with mortadella, pistachios, and mozzarella) and the homemade tiramisu are also highly recommended. The staff speaks good English, and the owner is fluent in German. We highly recommend this visit and would gladly return! Mille grazie!!

15/10/2025: The osteria is a bit off the beaten track, away from the hustle and bustle. Very friendly service and delicious gnocchi!
