12/05/2025: Wonderful experience; breathtaking views, dishes with attention to detail and courtesy of the high-level staff… My partner and I had a wonderful evening. Note also for the desserts, really excellent!

06/05/2025: First experience for us this year in April at Sangre Rojo after many years on Lipari. The location is spacious even though we were there on a cloudy evening (it was cool and there was almost fog around the restaurant). The idea of ​​having customers start the evening on the veranda with an aperitif is very suggestive. Then we continued inside with delicious dishes. Elaborate and excellent first courses, among which the Calamarata with seafood ragu certainly stands out (they recommended it to us, specifying that they too had eaten it for lunch... and later I understood why). The homemade pistachio pesto dishes aren't bad either. I could go on and on about starters and desserts... all really excellent. Wife and children thrilled with the whole dinner. Keep it up. Ps: when you do the evaluation it asks for "rooms" and not "food". I valued rooms as if they were food.

01/05/2025: Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good food experience. Had antipasti mix which were not at all fresh and the vegetables in the food had an intense taste of fish.Most probably they were cooked in the same pot. Maybe it was just an incident with our food.

07/01/2025: Non mi sarei mai aspettato di trovare un ristorante così elegante e raffinato proprio accanto alla mia barca. La location è perfetta e l'atmosfera è accogliente e sofisticata allo stesso tempo. Ogni aspetto della serata è stato impeccabile: il servizio è stato attento e professionale, il personale molto cortese e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, non posso che elogiare la qualità e la presentazione di ogni piatto. Ogni portata era una vera delizia, preparata con ingredienti freschissimi e sapientemente abbinati. È davvero un peccato che questo ristorante non sia sempre pieno, perché meriterebbe sicuramente molta più attenzione. È un'esperienza che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un luogo dove godersi una cena speciale, senza compromessi.

26/04/2025: A true local gem, with authentic atmosphere and amazing food. The service is so welcoming a warm and the restaurant os cozy on the inside. My dish was Linguini al Vongole and it tasted delicious! Really recommend.

03/05/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch by chance, I found excellent quality food, very friendly staff, a very welcoming, well organized place and above all a breathtaking view. Fairly fast service, well cooked and prepared dishes with a touch of class.. I ate a high quality crudité! Very satisfied with everything, I will return soon with my partner!

03/05/2025: Food is okay but.... Hurried staff, little attention for the guest. Forgetting to put bread, oil, salt and pepper on the table. When you ask, the waitress thinks we want dessert even though we were only served the main course a minute before. At the end we also paid €200 too much because our bill was confused with another table. I paid with my phone after a nod from the waiter to the card machine. I indicated that the amount was incorrect, but saw it too late. Received €200 cash back.

20/05/2025: A lovely restaurant set aside from the main road in Taormina. It had a lovely garden terrace where we had our meal. The meal was delicious. The starter aubergine caponata was incredible, well seasoned and rich in flavour. The bread was served warm with a helping of olive oil and balsamic vinegar- sadly lacking in other restaurants. The main meal was an alla Norma pizza and pasta both well seasoned and neatly balanced. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal!

18/05/2025: We had the best dinner here tonight. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I ordered the gnocchi and they were the best I have had in Taormina. They also had heaters next to the table's since it was cool outside. I highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious!

10/05/2025: Il ristorante si trova in un bel vicolo di Taormina, lontano dal caos. Il pesce è buono e molto fresco e la proprietaria molto cordiale e competente. Attenzione ai prezzi peró, soprattutto del vino, poichè abbiamo pagato un calice circa 16 euro. Nel complesso la qualità è ottima ma per un antipasto e un primo non spenderete meno di 80 euro a testa.

29/05/2025: This restaurant has been our favorite for many years. The pasta is very good. The pizza used to be phenomenal - but sadly it has been removed from the menu and is no longer made here. The tartare is still mixed in front of us by the owner, who always takes care of his guests. The view of Etna and the sea from a restaurant is the best we have found in 15 years of traveling around Sicily. It is more expensive than it used to be - inflation, but it is still worth a dinner here for lovers of an amazing view and atmosphere.

The owner only selects natural, local products and ingredients in order to create delicious dishes of the sicilian and italian tradition. The restaurant is full of interesting paintings, quotes, and objects with amazing stories about them. As you enjoy the extraordinary and diverse dishes, which are perfectly cooked and seasoned, the owner chats with you about the dishes and just about anything else you want. No matter where you find yourself, do travel as many as needed to this beautiful place and to this restaurant, it will be worth it.

24/05/2025: Met the family for lunch after a motorcycle ride through the mountains. The food and service were amazing. The fish was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Kids loved the pasta and Pepe and the staff were delightful. Buonissimo!

28/05/2025: We had dinner here and the food was excellent, the staff were also very friendly and attentive. After having eaten in plenty of restaurants around Taormina this was certainly one of the best.

25/05/2025: What can I say? Absolutely stunning!! We visited last night for drinks and the staff were so amazing we went back for food and wine tonight. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was absolutely amazing. Never ever had a carbonara like it. We were going to go to try Osteria da Rita but thx manager was so rude we decided against it! A must must must visit in Taormina!! Thank you so much xxx
