Il Gabbiano Ristorante We had lunch here during our stay in Taormina and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We were a group of four and decided to each order something different from the menu so we could try a variety of dishes, and every single plate was excellent. From the seafood pasta to the ravioli and fresh fish, everything tasted fresh, carefully prepared, and full of authentic Sicilian flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in both quality and presentation. The location overlooking Isola Bella is absolutely breathtaking. Sitting there with that view of the sea and the small island while enjoying such a meal made the entire experience unforgettable. Even on a cloudy day, the scenery felt magical. The service was warm, attentive, and relaxed without feeling rushed. It allowed us to truly enjoy the atmosphere and take our time. If you are visiting Taormina and want a memorable lunch with incredible views and outstanding seafood, this place is absolutely worth experiencing.

A terrace overlooking the most beautiful and picturesque view of the area, the setting for a culinary experience that is anything but ordinary and surpasses the expectations of a restaurant that at first glance is purely "tourist"... Friendly and discreet staff... Highly recommended...

I celebrated a big birthday at Il Gabbiano last night with friends and from start to finish the whole experience was fantastic. The staff made the meal especially memorable and the food, view and ambience was a joy. Thank you to the friendly, engaging and fun staff for such a lovely evening.

One of the best meals of our trip! We were brought here on a recommendation from our driver, Daniele from Private Transfer Sicily. The service was phenomenal, they were so kind and hospitable. It felt like being in someone’s beautiful home for lunch. The food was outstanding. We had the lobster pasta and another seafood pasta, and both were absolutely delicious. And the view! Breathtaking. The view alone is worth it, but combined with the food and service, it made for a truly special experience.
