A unique experience you must try!!!! Excellent bread, top-notch toppings! Comfortable atmosphere. My favorite pane cunzatu: Tuma, Caciocavallo Ragusano, anchovies, sun-dried tomatoes, and sweet and sour onion. Absolutely superb!!!!

Let me start by saying we're from Castellammare di Stabia (province of Naples), and Sebastiano from Lido Mauy recommended this place to us. Savoca is a very quaint medieval village, as is Bar Vitelli, but the jewel in this enchanting spot is Il Sambuco: a wonderful terrace where you can enjoy pane cunzato, and my favorite was Zia Angela (mouth-watering!!). I'll cherish these flavors and the kindness of these truly exceptional people. An unmissable stop in beautiful Sicily!

I was at this place last year, where the food is great, but I mean "very good," and I returned tonight with my family. The terrace has a wonderful panoramic view and excellent "bread seasoned" with the freshest, highest-quality cured meats! Wow, a spectacle of flavors! I met the owner, "Salvo," a very capable and kind person who can give you excellent advice. "Congratulations!" I recommend this place to everyone and would return 1,000 times over! Thank you for satisfying our palate!

Pane Cunzato is truly amazing and tasty... In addition to the predefined flavors, there is a vast selection of excellent and unique typical Sicilian cured meats and cheeses, so you can compose the Pane Cunzato to your liking... Very affordable prices... Very kind staff...

Excellent seasoned bread served on a panoramic terrace. It's served in 500g homemade loaves for two people. The ingredients are fresh, carefully selected, and truly tasty. Truly exceptional value for money. Highly recommended!

Tonight with friends, 4 adults and 4 children. Super crispy bread, top-quality ingredients! Beautifully packed... the kitchen is open, and just a quick glance tells you it's a clean place. Friendly staff. Reading other reviews, I see some complaints about the prices. If you buy a ham for €3 per kilo and one for €8 per kilo, there must be a reason. And the same goes for other cured meats, you pay for quality. Aside from the price, money goes and sells, you can't go wrong with the Pani causati! 💪🤤☺️ The best in the area, I recommend it!

09/08/2026: An unexpected, typically Sicilian return A very comfortable beach, with deckchairs and sun loungers at a very reasonable price. Compared to other beaches, this one struck us for its authenticity. It has showers and a simple, traditional restaurant. Mrs. Carmelina welcomed us with a smile and kindness. Crystal-clear water and a peaceful atmosphere. We also ate very well and will definitely return. I recommend it!!
21/07/2026: We arrived from Hotel Bel Soggiornó by transfer. The price of 18E/person includes a sunbed and umbrella as well as the round-trip transfer. The beach has a beautiful view of the open sea. This is a quieter, calmer and less crowded stretch of beach. There is also a shower, which you don't have to pay extra for. The restaurant has very delicious pasta and fish dishes, salads at a reasonable price, between 10-20 Euros. Panini is 6 Euros. Espresso is 1 Euro! I couldn't believe it! The service is courteous and polite, fast. We remember the time spent here with fondness!
