12/03/2026: A pleasant discovery! We were celebrating a graduation. I contacted the owner, explaining that we weren't local and would have to arrange everything over the phone. He was extremely helpful and courteous. We agreed on the menu, and he designed the cake, which was delicious, as were the rest of the dishes. The service was impeccable and courteous. We felt truly pampered.

Despite the passage of time, the quality remains top-notch and the customer service has even improved. Piana degli Albanesi is famous for its cannoli, but this is Sicily's true 'hidden niche' for those seeking authenticity.
Service: Impeccable and super attentive staff.
Quality/Price: Unbeatable, today as then.
Recommendation: A must-visit if you want to be on the safe side.

We had everything from the appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with jam, to the first course (pastorella), to a grilled meat... Everything was truly excellent.

20/05/2026: The pizza is good, but typically "gourmet," like all the pizzerias in the city, where they serve pizzas with fancy-sounding ingredients mixed together more or less randomly, but at a price of tens of euros each. The atmosphere is comfortable, but not particularly noteworthy. The service is good, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Average price: around €35 for pizza, beer, and dessert.

Traditional Sicilian cuisine, but with a bold twist: nothing predictable on the plate, yet nothing out of place. The food is excellent, without frills and without disappointment.

18/05/2026: We've been customers for a while, and the food is always excellent. The attention to detail is remarkable. We love the mussel soup and the pasta dishes. Today we had the seafood couscous (hand-rolled) and a Busiata with fresh shrimp and monkfish!!! Special thanks to Vincenzo and his kindness.
Everything was of remarkable quality. I recommend coming and trying it!

21/04/2026: We’ve been to this restaurant four times in a row for dinner, and it’s been the best decision. The ingredients are always fresh, there’s a different daily special every day, and the waiter who served us could answer all our questions and even recommend places to visit as a tourist. If we ever go back to Sicily I’m sure we’re gonna visit this place again.

09/06/2026: I'd like to share my experience at Il Normanno. I had dinner with my family on the last day of my stay in Cefalù. I regretted not having discovered this place sooner; I would have come every day. The Mazara Red Shrimp Tartare was excellent; you could tell it was fresh. As was everything else. To finish, Carlo, the owner, recommended a delicious Sicilian amaro.

01/12/2025: Very nice restaurant, with very good food which is presented in a beautiful manner and friendly staff.
25/09/2025: The food here was very creative and tasty. I had the "lasagna" which was layers of steak and vegetables with melted cheese on top and it was excellent. My wife had the gluten free pasta and that was also very good. One of the best meals we've had in our two weeks here in Sicily. Anil the waiter was very friendly and attentive.
Unfortunately there was hardly anyone there when we were there and the interior was a bit basic.
