08/03/2026: We had a great time. The owner was very kind and welcoming, always smiling between courses. We ate very well, with fresh fish and truly excellent first courses. If you're in the area, definitely stop by Sciccheria.

01/03/2026: I ordered a medium steak, but it came rare and rubbery. They tried to cook it more, but it only got worse. The English translation of the menu item is also incorrect. They were willing to make custom pasta for my son, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The waitress seemed rushed and was sometimes rude, clearing our plates without asking if we were finished. She also didn’t seem pleased that we weren’t happy with the food. Follow-up: The restaurant mentioned that the owner attended our table. That is technically true — for about 15 seconds to confirm the order. The actual service (taking the order, serving, clearing plates) was handled by the waitress, who interacted with us 4–5 times and was consistently rude. No issue with the owner’s brief appearance — just clarifying the facts. If needed, I can also ask my friend to share their opinion about the steaks. I’m just not sure it would help your case.

02/11/2025: We were a group of seven and had reserved a table, which I highly recommend. The view and ambiance were fantastic, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious! The prices are comparable to German restaurants, although the great location certainly plays a role. We were very satisfied and would gladly return!

28/10/2025: A very warm welcome, a smiling waiter, and quick service. They changed our wine because there was a problem with the one we were initially served. They didn't charge us for it and even offered us a complimentary digestif.

26/10/2025: The perfect place, a discovery of the 2025 season. Local, seasonal, and top-quality ingredients. The bruschetta tomatoes are aromatic and fragrant, with a touch of good extra virgin olive oil. The mussels are of excellent quality, fresh, perfectly prepared, firm, and not rubbery, with a delicious sauce of their own, seasoned so that the seasonings don't overwhelm their flavor. Next time, I'll ask for a spoon, because it would be a shame to leave such a wonder on the plate! The raw red shrimp from Mazzara del Vallo served with a drizzle of citron sauce and pink peppercorns. A masterpiece! The grilled swordfish is simply divine... The new team, led by Carlo and Mauro, make every effort to ensure guests feel comfortable and satisfied with the service. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I consider this a prime example of how customer service should be. Attentive, kind, and genuine. I will be back, and I highly recommend it! 28/10/2025: A fantastic experience for simple, classic with a twist Aeolian cuisine! We had a wonderful dinner while in Salina and would highly recommend the restaurant. Chef Fillipo is a genius when it comes to taking the most humble of local ingredients and turning them into absolute delicacies. Starting with the broad bean soup with herbed ricotta and anchovies a classic Sicilian soup taken to the next level with fresh herbed ricotta and salty anchovies. We both wanted meat for so we chose the black pork sausages and the house made beef spiedini both absolutely delicious and so simple and we both had the purslane salad, foraged from the local mountains and just delicious. The salted mandarin sorbet with Lemon jam was a perfect finish. We loved everything and would highly recommended you visit.

28/10/2025: We were on a sailing holiday and arrived in Salina marina for the night. We chose this restaurant because it was small but busy. We now know why it was busy even for off season. The food was fabulous. The yellowtail was especially good. Although a limited selection the wine was local and good. Highly recommended.

08/04/2026: A restaurant beautifully situated on Isola Bella. We went there in the evening without a reservation and managed to get a table. The menu was varied, but the prices were above average. Despite having a starter, main course, and dessert, we unfortunately left feeling a bit hungry. That would have been fine, as the food tasted great, but for the price, one naturally expects something different. The service was adequate. The single waiter tried his best to manage everything on his own while remaining friendly.

07/04/2026: Exceptional lunch with a breathtaking view! The dishes are carefully prepared and the fish is incredibly fresh. Impeccable service. The setting, a terrace overlooking Isola Bella, is welcoming and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

03/03/2026: Definitely the freshest fish, excellent cuisine, and very friendly staff. A wide selection of (expensive) wines, reasonable prices, but don't overdo the main courses (sorbet, coffee, liqueurs) that add to the bill.

If I had to find a flaw, it's clearly subjective: the portions are a bit large. It's a shame to leave food behind, especially when it's excellent, as it was here. The prices are commensurate with the service provided, and the 50% The Fork discount was applied correctly. We'll be back.
