02/03/2025: If you have children this is not a place for you. They don't have a children's menu and this can become very problematic, I bought chips and breaded schnitzel for the child, it would have been better not to order it. Meat burnt on the outside (charred breading) and rare on the inside.....Shrimp cocktail which was a pink sauce soup with some prawns at an excessive cost..... The pasta was good, nothing to say. Another flaw is the water bottle. In restaurants, water must be brought in closed bottles as well as wine and other drinks. I was brought water in an already open bottle and we paid €3.50 for it. It seems excessive to me for a liter of water. However, the waiters were friendly and helpful. I definitely won't go back and I wouldn't recommend it especially for people like me who have children.

23/02/2025: Sono stata al casale marretti il 22/02/25 x festeggiare i miei 40 anni insieme alla mia famiglia, ci siamo trovati benissimo posto esclusivo e pizza eccellente,grazie... il titolare molto accogliente e il personale gentile e premuroso...ci ritornerò!

19/02/2025: A truly SPECTACULAR lunch! We had already been here a few years ago and this time too they did not disappoint our expectations. Highly refined dishes, wonderful presentation, generous portions and truly exquisite flavours. The ingredients are of the highest quality and there is plenty of choice on the menu because all the dishes are truly special and inviting. We had lunch outside, even though it was December (the magic of Sicily!). The owners and waiters are warm, attentive and super professional people. It was a truly wonderful experience that we will certainly repeat again and again!

19/02/2025: Un pranzo davvero SPETTACOLARE! Eravamo già stati qui, un po’ di anni fa e anche stavolta non hanno deluso le nostre aspettative. Piatti ricercatissimi, presentazione meravigliosa, porzioni generose e sapori davvero squisiti. Gli ingredienti sono di primissima qualità e c’è l’imbarazzo della scelta sul menù perché tutti i piatti sono davvero particolari ed invitanti. Abbiamo pranzato all’esterno, nonostante fossimo a dicembre (le magie della Sicilia!). I proprietari e i camerieri sono persone calorose, attente e super professionali. È stata un’esperienza davvero splendida che di certo ripeteremo più e più volte!

17/03/2025: Sono arrivata con forte ritardo (15:30) nonostante ciò ci hanno subito servito Pranzo eccellente , nonostante la città sia prevalentemente turistica , la cucina è autentica siciliana Pesce molto fresco , neonata di pesce eccellente Ottima scelta di vini Personale super cordiale e gentile Prezzo equo per ciò che abbiamo mangiato

25/02/2025: The four of us really enjoyed it. My pizza Bufalo was excellent. Friendly staff, English was no problem. Very happy again! PS: Regarding one of the comments below: The time between ordering and ordering was quite long for us, even though the place was pretty empty. I suspect that this is NOT due to slow service - but rather the waiter was waiting for our signal that we were now ready for the main course!! As soon as I gave him a little "wink" with my eyes, the pizzas were immediately put into the oven and were at the table 5 minutes later. Therefore - if it takes a long time, just give the waiter a quick signal?

11/03/2025: Intimate and particular, As soon as you enter you immediately perceive a strong education and courtesy towards the customer. The menu was a real sensorial journey, food of the highest quality and prepared by expert hands, The selection of wines is vast and the waitstaff extremely well trained. Definitely not for all budgets But we must know how to give value and credit to those who have known and continue to know how to make an art of cooking I had a wonderful evening. I recommend it to those who have a good appetite and are looking for intimate and quiet places Ps.the huge posters of ancient Italian films They provided a beautiful setting for the dinner. 09/03/2025: Today I am in Agrigento and they pointed me to Stefano's brothers' supply, where the food is good. Upon entering I inquire and the very nice Zaira recommends the spaghettone with red prawns from Mazzara (I have no words to describe the excellence of the dish, thanking chef Giuseppe who I had the pleasure of meeting and complimenting him in person), very honored to have eaten at the bar in the valley, the best and I say this as a Catanian

25/01/2025: The Villa Ducale is a beautiful little boutique hotel on the hillside of Taormina, the rooms are beautifully furnished and offer every comfort, the shower in the bathroom was also incredibly good as it had a built-in waterfall. The view from the balcony was magnificent; in the morning you could enjoy the sunrise in peace. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the lady at reception even spoke perfect German which was a pleasant surprise. The view from the in-house restaurant is stunning both at breakfast and dinner.

02/11/2024: Mi familia y yo cenamos en el restaurante de Villa Ducale después de un día de cata de vinos en la bodega Gambino cerca del Monte Etna. Tuvimos la suerte de compartir el restaurante con un par de otras partes. Los platos eran de lujo y tenían perfiles de sabor bien equilibrados. Todo lo que pedimos era delicioso. ¡Nada quedó en nuestros platos! Las bebidas especiales también eran fantásticas. También teníamos una botella de vino tinto que era sorprendentemente bien precio por lo bueno que era. Prueba un vino nero d'avola si te gustan los vinos tintos de sabor profundo. La vista aquí también es de primera categoría. Tiene vistas al monte Etna con una vista impresionante del Mediterráneo. ¡Si eliges comer aquí, no te arrepentirás!

19/10/2024: Sono stato a Messina e prima di salutarla ho pensato fosse l'occasione per portare via con me un souvenir. Un souvenir diverso dal solito, un qualcosa che potesse rappresentare un'eccellenza siciliana. Un qualcosa che potesse rappresentare il buon gusto dei siciliani. Ed ecco che ho pensato alla pasticceria tipica siciliana: dove i prodotti altro non sono che "Arte" raffinata. Mi sono affidato al web chiedendo: miglior pasticceria di Messina. E quindi mi sono incamminato per raggiungerla. Ottima scelta e ottimo consiglio. Qualsiasi parola aggiunta a questa recensione sarebbe superflua perché bisogna andarci, gustare e poi commentare. La qualità non va controllata ma costruita! Provare per credere.

25/08/2024: Tappa obbligata ogni volta che si sosta a Messina per imbarcarsi. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile, pronto a richieste particolari e disposto alle spiegazioni di rito per chi non è del posto. Ma le cosa più sorprendente sono i sapori superlativi dei cannoli e della pasta di mandorla che producono. È il 2° viaggio che faccio in Sicilia per vacanza e ad ogni sbrco/imbarco devo fermarmi obbligatoriamente per assaggiare i loro prodotti. Prezzi vantaggiosi. Per chi volesse portare via i cannoli e deve affrontare un lungo viaggio, si sono attrezzati provvedendo tutto l'occorrente in maniera scomposta (ricotta in contenitore termico, granella e cannoli vuoti) in modo da salvaguardare la freschezza dei prodotti. Ottimo, bravissimi.
