30/08/2025: We visited Azzura two years ago and it was an amazing experience. The view was astonishing, the food delicious, and the staff very friendly. We were so happy that we went back once more during the same stay. It fully met our expectations, and we even had the chance to congratulate and thank the Chef! We’re looking forward to coming back soon and definitely recommend you to visit it!

30/08/2025: Excellent restaurant! In Macari, a very quiet village near San Vito lo Capo, we found a place to eat well with a breathtaking view! The busiate Azzurra Makari were delicious! We'll be back!

06/09/2025: We had dinner this evening, September 6th. The place was very nice. The appetizer was very good, the couscous was good but not rich. Everything was just right, the pasta with clams was good. The service was like a restaurant. First of all, there's no wine list, and you don't know what the price is for what you order. We ordered a bottle of Rosé. The appetizer arrived, but not the bottle, so we had to ask for it. When the first courses arrived, I asked for a plate to put the shells in. I'm still waiting for it. Aside from the young waiter, the others were very rude and unprofessional.

On the panoramic terrace where you can have lunch or dinner al fresco, there's a beautiful fountain that enhances the beauty of the place. The pizza is delicious, made with sourdough and quality toppings. The waiters are very kind and knowledgeable. And the owners are always there to welcome you with a warm smile. The menu is very varied, with both fish and meat, and everything is fresh and high-quality. If you want to eat well and have a wonderful evening, this is definitely one of the best restaurants in the city.

28/08/2025: Very disappointed with this restaurant: We wanted to order seafood pasta with squid ink, but they were out of squid ink. So they made us the dish without squid ink (at the same price, of course), and the dish arrived: 3 mussels, 2 cockles, and 3 tiny shrimp! Absurd... (18 or 19 euros per plate). What's more, there were 5 of us at the table, and we all had to order the same pasta because otherwise we wouldn't be able to eat together! 🤔 And finally, when the bill came, a "tax" of 2.5 euros per place was added! (We had been on the island for a week, and we hadn't yet been charged this tax). All in all, a very disappointing restaurant for us.

01/05/2025: I stayed at the Agriturismo with jezza pension together with my 5 year old daughter. The place is magnificent, surrounded by greenery, olive groves and vineyards. It has a very large lawn for games, events and events with an outdoor theatre. The farm animals, dogs and cats, are very docile and cuddly and attracted all of my daughter's attention. The owner is a very friendly, kind and super helpful person. The chef, the owner's son, was also available and above all delighted us with very appetizing starters and first courses, the second courses with well-grilled high quality meat; I would say the food was excellent. The only flaw was the room available to us which was a little too small with no support for suitcases or personal items and the very cramped shower which I found difficult, but I hope it was the only room so small. The place, as mentioned, magnificent and very large, would need further constant maintenance.

05/09/2025: We had a reservation for dinner at 9:30. We arrived at that time and every table was taken. We waited half an hour to be served. They gave a table to people without a reservation before us, and at 10:30 they wanted four people to dine at a very small table. Furthermore, while we were waiting to be served, the treatment was extremely disrespectful. The worst restaurant in all of Sicily.

07/09/2025: The pizzas are truly delicious! The service was more attentive to the Italians and larger groups, and the ambiance loses a star for the floodlit terrace lighting. But all in all, a very pleasant and, above all, delicious visit.

13/09/2025: Osteria Liparota was an excellent find! The pasta alle vongole was perfectly balanced and full of flavor, while the pistachio and prawn pasta was truly exceptional — rich, fresh, and unforgettable. A wonderful spot for authentic, high-quality dishes. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: Food was nice enough but really let down by the service! The food tasted good but a somewhat small portion that was overpriced for what it was. A big gap between appetiser and main but not sure why as it was just 2 of us. We waited about 30 minutes for them to clear our plates and they didn’t offer us the dessert menu. We ended up having to go inside to pay as they just didn’t come back to serve us at all and we got dessert elsewhere (for a much more reasonable price) 1 appetiser, 2 main pasta dishes, and 2 Cola drinks were €84 and not really worth it
