10/10/2025: I think I've been a good customer and would have liked to continue being one, but the young owner is too fickle for my tastes, smiling and helpful one day, sulking and indolent the next when I ask a simple question. The service is decent but sometimes a bit counterintuitive. The rotisserie is decent but with above-average prices; the restaurant upstairs offers fairly good meat. What a shame! Customers, especially the good ones, need to be kept close. This review isn't about your competitors, but about a dissatisfied former customer.

12/10/2025: Overcooked rice, diet portions, and distracted, bordering on rude service (even though we had booked, we were assigned a table near the exit; even though there was a better-located table available, and even though we had explicitly and politely asked for a change).

08/11/2025: I stayed there for a few days in October. I'm talking about the accommodation, not the restaurant. It's important to note that there's no cell phone coverage here. There's only WiFi, which is subject to frequent power outages, and the resort doesn't have a UPS. Perhaps it would be helpful if the manager mentioned this on the website and at the time of booking! Rooms don't have bidets (this is Italy!). Recommended (perhaps) only in summer.

03/11/2025: Wonderful location! A little difficult to get to, but once you arrive, you'll be amazed! Surrounded by greenery and nature, the inn is an ancient residence that preserves its original architectural features. You can also stay overnight; there are rooms. We went for dinner. Delicious pizza! Very friendly service. I recommend it.

09/11/2025: I ordered Involtini Pesce Spada Fresco Grigliati alla Siciliana. The rolls were very small, Spada is very thin, ingredients not tasty, the fried batter outside is badly burnt. Why is this dish cost 32euros? The waiter was kind but the stern faced lady who seems to me the shopkeeper was rather curt and blunt, store-oriented style, reluctant to welcome a customer from the far east small island.

Aside from the fact that we ate a lot, and it was excellent at a really good price, the location is really nice and well-kept. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone... Excellent and affordable.

10/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch. It's a beautiful location, literally on the seafront. The dishes, however, aren't particularly exciting. The cherry tomato, eggplant, and swordfish starter was good.

29/08/2025: The staff were incredibly kind; we were treated exceptionally well and treated to delicious seafood. The quality-price ratio was unbeatable.

18/11/2025: Excellent restaurant with typical local dishes. Reservations are required, especially in high season. Friendly staff and very good food. I can't recommend any particular dishes; I recommend going several times and trying everything.

18/11/2025: The atmosphere is very pretentious; I personally preferred the old place. The tuna meatballs were salty, the spaghetti with clams tasteless, and only the traditional couscous brought back memories. Gna' Sara has always been my favorite place in San Vito... but now...

28/10/2025: I was with friends strolling around Marina di Modica. Despite the late hour, we noticed the place was packed, so we chose it as our spot. They quickly set us up at a table, even though it was on the roadside but well-located. We chose a little bit of everything, from pizza to fish, to pasta dishes, accompanied by a good, authentic Sicilian Grillo. We chose the pizza with the fried fish of the day as an appetizer, and everything arrived quickly. Afterwards, we moved on to the first and second courses, from the peppered mussels to the pasta and fish. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place, although the price can be a bit higher depending on what you choose.

17/12/2025: Disappointing...the food was flavorless, and the pasta was served raw. If you just want to fill your stomach, fine, but if you're going with the desire to eat good fish, it's better not to go; you'll only be disappointed.

09/12/2025: We went for the Immaculate Conception. Mediocre appetizers, frozen cocktail shrimp. Main courses were almost inedible: rice with pumpkin and shrimp, also frozen and practically nonexistent, seafood ravioli that tasted only of cheese, spaghetti with clams (mostly lupini) drowned in oil. Frozen prawns that tasted awful. The only thing worth saving was the fried calamari. From such a renowned restaurant with such a splendid location, I expected everything to be fresh, but instead I was immensely disappointed.

02/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, typical Sicilian cuisine, lots of local customers. The service is professional and friendly, sometimes a little slow when they have large groups. We have dined there several times, always very satisfied with our meals (risottos, pasta, seafood); in our opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in the area.

31/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ate divinely at Egesta Mare! Michele and Salvatore, two brothers (one in the dining room and the other in the kitchen), truly know how to make you feel at home, treating you with kid gloves and always with a smile. 🌞 When a good bond is formed, a complimentary glass of amaro or an extra portion of their signature dishes is always a must... small gestures that make all the difference and express their passion for Sicilian hospitality. I stayed in Castellammare for five days and returned to dinner there five times: every night was an unforgettable experience, the best of my entire Sicilian tour! 🇮🇹🍋 Memorable dishes: the Black Widow, the Sicilian cassata, the busiate, the XL cannoli, and the best caponata I've ever tasted. Everything was perfect, from the first bite to the last toast. Finding a restaurant like this was a true luxury for my family and I and made our stay in Sicily even more special. 06/12/2025: My go-to person when I need to order dinner. Punctual, and most importantly, the lady is always very kind and patient, both on the phone and in person, even when there's a line and everyone asks for something at the same time.

26/11/2025: The chicken was delicious, there were tons of baked and fried potatoes, and they arrived hot. The bites were excellent. Delivery was super punctual. I highly recommend it.
