12/08/2024: Esperienza straordinaria. Era la nostra prima volta in questo locale e le nostre aspettative non sono state disattese. Tutto buonissimo, dall'antipasto al dolce. Anche il personale è stato squisito e piacevole. In particolare, Lorenzo, un giovane maestrino di sala, professionale e simpatico. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente.

29/08/2024: Great place - wonderful pizza, great sea food, huge portions and very friendly service. We came twice for lunch and dinner and enjoyed both times. It’s seems to be a place favored by local families celebrating and couples on date alike.

30/08/2024: From the phone call to book, the infinite kindness of the staff was already evident. Upon arrival we were greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism. As a good Sicilian I like to consume seafood and I can confirm that I was finally able to taste the sea in all the dishes I tasted. Rating 10 and praise for the seafood starter without the addition of unnecessary and excessive condiments allowed me to savor all the freshness of the various types of fish present on the plate. Spaghetti with clams? Perfect pasta cooking, al dente but not too much, white as they should be, without excess oil... delicious. Fried calamari? A delicacy, perfectly seasoned with salt, visibly fresh frying oil. I also tried the standard macaroni... I guarantee that they are truly made with exceptional goodness. To finish with a delicious lemon sorbet as few people know how to make... granite but not too much and just the right amount of tartness. The sober, not necessarily formal, well-kept, welcoming environment (the verdelli trees in the outdoor room are a plus) made our stop pleasant. A round of applause to all the staff in the room who exude professionalism from every pore. Fast, attentive and very kind. Thank you for the very pleasant experience. I will return to Sicily and you will be my MUST❤️

24/08/2024: The pizzas are delicious and the welcome is wonderful. I highly recommend You have to find the restaurant, lost in the middle of nowhere but it's worth the detour if you're in the area.

08/08/2024: Impeccable service, always attentive to customer needs. We ate divinely, the fish dishes are fabulous and you can feel that the fish is very fresh.

13/08/2024: We had dinner yesterday discovered with the fork we were involved in a very organized and kind environment and the dishes were no different but we could improve it very kind and helpful staff

11/08/2024: The food is great. The pistachio ravioli and the spaghetti with ragu I would highly recommend. My only issue is the price, so I would say absolutely go, just be prepared for a high bill. I understand its a tourist town, but 18€ is a lot for one dish, and 4,50€ for a soft drink, plus the cover charge of 3€ per person all adds up to make an overall very expensive meal (but the food quality was still very good).

12/08/2024: good food, rich menu and acceptable value for money. But you can't expect to cool that entire environment with an air conditioner that wouldn't even be enough to cool a bathroom. In these days of African heat this place is uncommon. I think the restaurateur should invest part of the profits in improving this aspect. I won't go back again until autumn.

11/08/2024: I took Parpadelle alla norma. It was delicious. Plus this recipe wasn't on the menu. The waiter suggested it to me according to my culinary preferences.

27/07/2024: I spent 3 nights with my family, we had a great time. Room, swimming pool, play area, parking, breakfast, everything 💯, not to mention the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and employees. Congratulations!!!

25/07/2024: We stayed at the Borgo San Francesco in the first two weeks of July. It was fantastic, we loved it there. We are a family of 5, kids 17,14 and 12. Beautiful grounds, lovely duplex room, nice pool. Breakfast if you want it was very nice and not expensive. We had dinner at the Borgo only a couple times, good quality but we preferred to go out. The Borgo staff are great, very helpful, and we loved the area and the nearby town, Gioiosa Marea, where we often went to eat dinner, walk around and have a gelato. Nice bakery at the bottom of the hill and two wineries also walking distance. Very nice supermarket only 5 minutes away by car. We would definitely recommend staying here.
