12/11/2025: "Where's the Calamari?" My friend asked me when we ordered the Calamari pasta. This is the best way I can sum up our visit to Ingrid. For €18 it was terrible value and student quality food with barely any Calamari. The waiter told us there was no menu, which I found quite strange, felt like a way to invent a price on the spot and see if people will pay it. Left with with bad vibes from this place. Should have trusted my initial instinct, don't really get the good reviews.

11/04/2026: I suggested lunch at Comparello to my colleagues, and we hit the nail on the head. Even though there were 11 of us, the organization was perfect: quick service (essential for a lunch break), excellent food, and a very clean environment. Everyone was happy with their choice. A must-try for those seeking quality and speed!
29/03/2026: We've been here before. Good food, excellent service (the guys are really friendly). A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Live music and guaranteed fun. Highly recommended.

09/11/2025: We’ve been all around Italy and have never had a bad meal until tonight. Terrible pizza, tasteless crust and toppings. Had the Seabass supposedly encrusted with almonds….. horrible as well. I saw someone at another table barely eat their pizza as well. Don’t go here.
07/11/2025: We had our first lunch of our 2 week Italy trip here. We loved the Margherita and pesto pizzas. My husband also got the gnocchi, which he loved. Cute outdoor spot for lunch, would recommend.

09/04/2026: This pizzeria and restaurant is located downtown, between the main and busiest streets. A great find if you're in the area.
I recommend the restaurant more than the pizza.
The only downside: the tables inside near the entrance are right next to the doors, so it gets very cold in the winter. (Personal experience.)
I didn't particularly like the mozzarella on the pizza.
Otherwise, the location is beautiful, and the service was excellent despite the restaurant being full.
It's worth a visit.

I went to this restaurant with my family two nights in a row. The first night we tried their pasta dishes, generous portions but too good to finish. The second night we opted for the pizzas, equally good!
The staff was friendly and professional, thank you all! 🫂❤️

30/09/2025: Apparently the restaurant doesn't need to update its opening hours online, and then customers find themselves standing in front of a closed door even though it's supposed to be open.
30/09/2025: Today is Tuesday, and the entrance says "Closed Monday"! There are no other opening hours listed online either. A walk of over a kilometer is in vain!

04/03/2026: My family and I had a terrible meal. The service was incredibly slow. We arrived at 1:30 PM and had lunch until almost 4 PM. Not only were we unable to enjoy the food, I didn't even find it to be of any quality.

04/01/2026: Terrible experience. Bad food, difficult to identify the recipe and ingredients, and very expensive.
The only place we've eaten badly after a week in Naples and another in Sicily.
The waiters were friendly, but the food was very bad, and the price was exorbitant.
They brought us what was supposed to be pasta "a lla norma," but it was clearly "alli pesto," and from a jar.
I don't recommend it.
20/12/2025: Don’t bother with bad reviews from Americans or Germans who don’t know nothing about food. Food is great here

18/11/2025: A good place to relax with coffee and delicious pistachio croissants.
The staff is friendly, though their English is a bit limited, but you can get by.
For non-smokers, the place will reek of cigarettes, but that smell is prevalent not only here. I had the impression that people in Catania smoke more than Etna.
