21/05/2026: A truly homey trattoria. We ate wonderfully; everything was fresh and homemade. The prices were very fair. The service was impeccable. It's just a shame we discovered it on our last day! If you're in Modica and want to try truly local food, you can't miss it.

27/11/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant, excellent service, and above all, an exceptional location, with only a low wall separating the tables from the sea. A special mention for the desserts, Sicilian cannoli and cassata, the best I've ever had in Sicily.

25/11/2025: We came at the wrong time of year, and many places were closed, so this place was a real treat. The food was delicious and reasonably priced; the grilled seafood platter was especially fresh, and at 30 euros, it was enough for two people.

05/04/2026: I have nothing to say about the place, very beautiful and with a certain nightlife and a nice background music, the pizzolo with Nutella was delicious, but I can't say the same thing about my pizza, a buffalo mozzarella, which had a rather watery sauce (not due to the buffalo mozzarella), and a slightly undercooked dough... I hope it was a unique case due to the important table I was at.

17/06/2026: Italian restaurant on a narrow street in Palermo. I shared a pizza and an extralarge Moretti beer with my husband. The dough on this pizza was nothing like what I have had in other restaurants in Sicily or anywhere else in Italy. It had an extremely thin crust and I think it was made from frozen dough and not made by them. The taste of the pizza was not bad. We also had the chocolate tartufo which was good. We ate at a table on the street. I saw that the inside was very nice.

09/06/2026: The food is good, but unfortunately the location suffers from its labyrinthine layout. To eat the pizza (which is excellent, by the way) you need to be incredibly patient, as it takes a long time, given the amount of work they have to do. The fact that the place was packed (and they also do a lot of takeout) confirmed to us that it was worth the wait. They also accommodated us by delivering the pasta dish with the pizzas (I assure you, this isn't always a given in very crowded places on a Saturday night). Overall, the feedback was positive. I recommend it.

25/05/2026: Food was great. Had the mussels, pasta with sardines and fennel, seared tuna. Each was perfectly cooked and well plated. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Spoke perfect English. Prices were very reasonable. Would recommend

19/05/2026: Let me start by saying that the place isn't exactly nice. You go there for good food. Since we don't eat meat, we looked for a place that served traditional, essentially humble, dishes. So we had the lolli with fava beans and the pasta with Aci trunzo, dishes you won't find everywhere and absolutely recommended. But the thing that kept us coming back two nights in a row was their caponata. We don't understand how they make it; it's slightly different from the others, but we've never had it this good. The woman at the tables, who I assume is the very kind owner, explains the tradition of the dishes and where the ingredients come from. I also recommend trying their fries, since we were so light on the first courses...

05/05/2026: Acireale, CT. Via Lancaster, 2. Corner of Vico dei Padri Filippini. Pizzeria-restaurant right in the city center, with a simple and functional atmosphere. We loved the pizza for its easy-to-digest dough and generous toppings; the service was quite quick and the prices were fair. A bit noisy on weekends, and the beverage offerings were basic. Our choice proved to be a reliable one.

10/03/2026: The restaurant has two rooms, and as tourists, we were the only ones seated in the area facing the street. The pasta was fine, but I wouldn't return for it. The service was excellent. We didn't try the fish dishes.

13/06/2026: Far from the hustle and bustle of Cefalu, in the charming village of Lascari, I had one of the best pizzas I ate during my stay in Sicily.

08/06/2026: An authentically Sicilian pizzeria, far from the overly touristy places, good pizzas, a village atmosphere and a warm welcome.

11/06/2026: We were drawn to this restaurant by its beautiful location at sunset, but the experience was, to say the least, forgettable. We ordered fried shrimp and calamari: while the latter were decent, the shrimp had a decidedly unpleasant flavor! The waiter simply said, "Sorry," and the owner not only didn't believe us, treating us with extreme condescension and arrogance, but also decided to bring us a plate of raw shrimp to demonstrate the supposed quality of his raw ingredients. A ridiculous and inconsiderate gesture that doesn't justify obviously incorrect cooking or storage. We paid the bill in full without a fuss, but the attitude was disrespectful and rude. HAVING A GOOD PRODUCT ON PAPER IS OF NO VALUE IF PROFESSIONALISM, HUMILITY, AND RESPECT FOR THOSE WHO PAY ARE LACKING.

10/06/2026: We had dinner at this fish tourism restaurant, a first experience to forget. The name itself suggests it's your own catch or a third party's catch from the fishing boat. But let's forget it. We ordered a seafood trio appetizer for two, "They'll take care of it." Octopus salad to be dressed at the table, zucchini caponata with two or three small pieces of fish (only zucchini cut into chunks), a terrine of drowned squid, really drowned because not even a ring was visible, just tomato pulp, two slices of grungy bread with two slices of tomato not even seasoned with grated fish. A HORRIBLE dish. The mussel soup arrives, cooked in fish soup with a little fresh tomato, nothing special. The first courses arrived, a 150*, the restaurant's signature dish: black basil pesto, burnt by the heat, 5 prawns, 6/7 shrimp, dried tomato, and some grated dried fish...at least I got the asterisk in the 150* I put it in 😁 of the other first course, just one forkful and had it taken away (but paid for) busiata alla tramontana without salt, horrible cream of zucchini, tasteless monkfish, not even a hint of shrimp that seemed boiled. Enough, I'll stop here. Never again

10/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch. It's a beautiful location, literally on the seafront. The dishes, however, aren't particularly exciting. The cherry tomato, eggplant, and swordfish starter was good.
