01/06/2026: An excellent gin and lemon with fried foods (chips, panelle, and croquettes) at sunset, followed by an excellent pizza, tasty and well-seasoned. The wait staff was polite and very friendly, an experience worth repeating and recommending.

07/08/2025: After two weeks in Taormina, we discovered this hidden gem on our last day and what a wonderful surprise! The warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the kind family who runs the place made us feel right at home. The food was exactly what we needed: comforting and full of flavor. The vegetable soup was absolutely delicious, the lamb cotoletta was tender and perfectly cooked, and the tagliatelle and swordfish rolls were just fantastic. On top of all that, the prices were the best we found in Taormina — great quality without the tourist mark-up. I only wish we had found this place sooner! Highly recommended.

I've been to several restaurants in Ortigia, but this one struck me for the complexity of the dishes, the quality of the service (the best ever), and the absolutely enviable location in an oasis of absolute tranquility. The best in Ortigia for those who eat gluten-free. Thank you.

02/06/2026: The four of us foodies visited the restaurant because a local had recommended it as a hidden gem… promising authentic Sicilian cuisine… we found the place packed with Americans who were clearly enjoying themselves… we got the distinct impression that the chef had apparently eaten a clown for breakfast… the names of the dishes and their combinations can only be described as bizarre… the hot dishes arrived cold and everything we ordered was completely tasteless… to top it all off, the whole thing was decorated with various pastes in neon colors… at night, the food presented a few additional challenges… far too expensive for what was offered… one star for the food is actually too generous…

11/06/2026: We arrived without a reservation, but we got one of the best tables on the terrace! The staff was extremely kind and attentive. The view of the sea and the city is stunning, and the spaghetti with pistachio pesto and the mushroom pizza were absolutely delicious. We had an unforgettable anniversary dinner here! I recommend it to everyone! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

16/05/2026: I was a bit disappointed, mainly by the organization and the wait staff. The food is worth it, both in quality and quantity. The kitchen, the chefs, and the non-waiting staff are definitely 5-star. Everything else, however, needs a rethink... They sat us in a place they had indicated, and at least three times, a different waiter, passing by, bumped into my chair. The spaces between the tables were very narrow; I don't understand why the other half of the room after the bar, which was almost empty, wasn't offered to us. During the appetizers, no dish was left for the mussel shells... It's the first time this has happened to me, but at the end of the seafood appetizers, no napkins were brought (they were at the other tables, so it was definitely an oversight by the person serving us). We had to ask for cutlery several times because, every time we changed plates, they'd take it away, but then when they brought the next course, they'd leave it without the cutlery... Finally, the coffee... it's fine for me to go get it at the counter, but at least keep the service staff's waste bin, located in the center of the counter where you can get coffee or liqueurs, closed (I won't go into detail about where you could have placed it to better organize the space).

31/05/2026: I arrived at 1:30 PM and finished at 3:27 PM, eating very little and having to wait forever. About an hour passed between the first and second courses. The pasta dish was a paltry portion. For the second course, we ordered a cutlet, the smallest I've ever seen in a restaurant. Dessert arrived cut in half. They skimped on everything possible. The service was slow and unfriendly. The only decent thing was the location, which was nice. Poor value for money.

30/08/2025: We stayed at this property for 2 days. A charming place, just a few kilometers from the lively tide. It's the perfect base for reaching the beautiful coasts and neighboring towns. The room was quiet and clean; we slept wonderfully. The breakfast was good, with some local products. The pool was adequate and surrounded by greenery. Highly recommended.

She was fantastic! In addition to the family atmosphere, we were pleasantly surprised by the opportunity to choose free books to take home: a truly original and much-appreciated gesture. Not to mention the food: everything was delicious! Fresh daily produce, authentic flavors, and generous portions. We ate a lot and well, feeling pampered by the flavors of times gone by. All at a very fair price, something that is increasingly rare these days. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience, good home cooking, and a fabulous welcome.
