A truly homey trattoria. We ate wonderfully; everything was fresh and homemade. The prices were very fair. The service was impeccable. It's just a shame we discovered it on our last day! If you're in Modica and want to try truly local food, you can't miss it.

Lovely local authentic Sicilian restaurant. Lots of locals walked through to the back of the restaurant which was a good sign we found a good place to eat and we were not disappointed. The aubergine tomato fresh pasta and thin steak with sides were delicious.

Dining at Gloria's was a bit like dining with family, so much was her care for us. My parents, my sister, and I dined at this family-run trattoria two nights in a row. The food was authentic, the portions generous, and she was always available to accommodate our requests. But above all, the owner had a sweetness and a smile that I've rarely encountered. I recommend eating here to anyone looking for a welcoming, simple, and authentic place. Thanks again, Gloria. If you come to Tuscany like Mom said, you'll be welcome.

09/06/2026: The food is good, but unfortunately the location suffers from its labyrinthine layout. To eat the pizza (which is excellent, by the way) you need to be incredibly patient, as it takes a long time, given the amount of work they have to do. The fact that the place was packed (and they also do a lot of takeout) confirmed to us that it was worth the wait. They also accommodated us by delivering the pasta dish with the pizzas (I assure you, this isn't always a given in very crowded places on a Saturday night). Overall, the feedback was positive. I recommend it.
25/05/2026: Food was great. Had the mussels, pasta with sardines and fennel, seared tuna. Each was perfectly cooked and well plated. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Spoke perfect English. Prices were very reasonable. Would recommend
