17/05/2025: We had lunch with our 40 students at Lisetta' Trattoria, as suggested by some locals. The service was quick, the staff, very polite, did his best to satisfy all our requests, the food was very good. Absolutely recommended.

16/05/2025: Tan bueno que fuimos dos veces durante nuestra estancia en Siracusa. La primera vez fue en el almuerzo donde tuvimos un par de platos de pasta y un poco de vino tinto de la casa. El vino no era el mejor, pero la pasta estaba deliciosa, recién cocinada y una buena porción. Tomamos un penne con salsa rusticana y un spaghetti con mejillones. Ambos estaban deliciosos. Llevamos amigos la segunda vez para una cena. Esta vez tuvimos más rusticanas más espaguetis con una carbonara y una salsa de sardinas. Las 4 comidas fueron deliciosas de nuevo, así como las botellas de rojo y blanco. Personal super amable y unos 25€ por cabeza. Muy buena relación calidad-precio Uno para probar en Ortigia

05/06/2025: Excellent food, I am delighted with the Sicilian food, veal in sauce and vegetables, pork with lemon and very dry fries, you have to ask for bread, the beer is very cold, which is perfect because not everywhere in Europe serves really cold beer. The seasoning has the flavor of farm food, the restaurant is in a narrow corridor where cars cannot pass and the tables are on the street, it is so delicious to have lunch here!!!

17/05/2025: I discovered this enchanting place by chance, right on the sea, and I was really impressed. The place is very nice and cared for in every little detail. The owner was very kind and courteous with us. The food was super excellent.

01/05/2025: Beautiful experience. We found ourselves here by chance. Seafront restaurant where the sunset is a spectacle. Welcoming place, kind and friendly manager and all the staff, true ambassadors of Agrigento's tourist hospitality. Delicious and innovative menu that honors local traditions.

10/05/2025: The management has changed but the service and cuisine have remained the same as before. Excellent starters, good first courses. Fish based price quality and quantity are excellent. I recommend it, I will come back as always.

06/05/2025: I chose this restaurant by chance because it was close to the bakery. We enjoyed some fantastic busiate with sardines: few frills and lots of quality substance. The Chef owner very courteous. The restaurant and open kitchen, as usual in the Chef's home country, are very clean.

23/05/2025: Awful attitude by head waiter. He forced ZBruschetta on us though we had no intention of ordering it. He derided us for eating the bread rolls when these were served in the table. Our main dishes did not come out together, but over a period of 15 minutes. Some of my party had nearly finished before I got my plate !

22/05/2025: Unacceptable Treatment at Da Carlo — A Humiliating Experience I rarely write reviews, but what happened at Da Carlo left me no choice. We arrived as a group of 11 and were seated promptly. We received the menus and asked for some water. Shortly after, we were offered bruschetta. We politely declined, wanting to look through the menu first. A second waiter came to offer it again, and we declined once more. Then what appeared to be the manager or owner approached us. For the third time, he insisted on the bruschetta. When we declined yet again, he turned to me and sarcastically said, “Don’t worry, you don’t have to pay,” and proceeded to ask me how many pieces of bread I had eaten so far — a completely inappropriate and humiliating question, especially in front of others. As we tried to place our food orders, things only got worse. We asked for pasta with vongole (clams) and another with cozze (mussels). He refused to take the order as requested, and instead shouted that he would make a mix of both, and that we could just give the parts we didn’t want to someone else at the table. The tone was aggressive, loud, and deeply disrespectful. At that point, I had enough. I have never been treated so rudely in any restaurant in my life. I felt bullied, embarrassed, and completely disrespected — especially in front of other diners who turned to look. I made the decision to leave. Dining out is supposed to be a pleasant experience — not one where you’re shouted at, belittled, or pressured into eating something you don’t want. Da Carlo not only failed in service, but in basic human decency.

Abbiamo più volte scelto di pranzare/cenare, non solo per la qualità e bontà del cibo, ma anche per la cordialità e disponibilità del Sig. Mimmo e dei suoi familiari. Abbiamo apprezzato le tagliatelle allo scrigno, i secondi a base di pesce e gli antipasti tipici siciliani. Porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Torneremo sicuramente
