Really great Christmas lunch! The quality is very high and the service very attentive to everything and very kind. I highly recommend!

there was no menu a la carte for dinner. They offered a closed dinner of antipasti and some grilled meat for 30€ per person. We only wanted to order appetizers but could not choose. We were served some lukeworm antipasti for 22€ per person which seemed expensive. I imagine the grilled meat must be good, but beware of the closed menu.

Paramos espontaneamente en Gela en nuestro camino a Agrigento. Que fantástica noche, que maravillosa atención e inolvidable cena. Verdaderamente magnífico. Recomiendo sus fantásticas carnes y dejarse recomendar por el chef.

My wife and I stopped here for our first Sicilian dinner on our honeymoon and we were not disappointed! There did not appear to be a menu, but we were offered some antipasti to share, beef carpaccio and bread to start with. There was a varied selection of items that were all tasty and well prepared; the carpaccio was especially delicious. For our main course we were offered a selection of grilled beef, veal and pork; this was dressed with oil, oregano and lemon, perfectly seasoned with salt and served with bread. This was all meltingly soft and delicious. Dessert was a generous helping of lemon sorbet, along with a pistachio and ricotta cannoli, which rounded the meal off perfectly. We ate well and drank a glass each of local red wine (not too acidic, unoaked, with an interesting pepperyness and herbal tones). We also shared a litre bottle of Coca-Cola. The service was an exemplar of good hospitality (we were made to feel very welcome) and we would highly recommend anyone visit who is after an authentic experience (the restaurant appeared to be full of locals). The conto came to 65€, which felt like a bargain!

Authentiek en fantastisch eten. Met handen en voeten komt de eigenaar je uitleggen wat de mogelijkheden zijn en gaat na overleg voor je aan de slag. Alle onderdelen van de anti pasti waren al van prima kwaliteit en best vullend maar daarna komt het absolute klapstuk, het vlees. 😍 Deze man snapt hoe je vlees bereidt, zelden zulk mals vlees gegeten. We zijn een paar dagen later terug gegaan, en een volgende keer dat wij in de buurt zijn gaan we zeker weer!

Hier wil je geweest zijn, nee, eigenlijk moet je hier geweest zijn!! ;) Voor wie van Italiaans houdt en voor de vlees liefhebber een must. Zelden zulke malse beef gegeten. Heerlijke antipasti, wijntje, een goed stuk vlees voor een heel vriendelijke prijs. Absolute aanrader langs te gaan bij deze zeer vriendelijke uitbater.

Veramente buonissimo e con prezzi molto onesti. Il proprietario è molto simpatico e sa consigliare bene sulle pietanze offerte. Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti e il servizio è stato molto veloce. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
