05/08/2025: The Sicilia di Vendicari farmhouse is nestled in the Vendicari oasis.
In the morning, you wake to the scent of lemons, olive trees, and fig trees, and the wind caresses you in this land full of colors and scents, thanks above all to the loving care of the owners, Antonietta, Angelo, and their mother, Maria.
The villas are simple but clean and spacious.
We also ate wonderfully at their restaurant, also located within the oasis.
You can experience the true Sicily with authentic Sicilian dishes cooked by Maria and many desserts prepared by her daughter, Antonietta.
The oasis is strategically located near Sicily's most beautiful beaches and the coolest spots.
You can only get around by car, preferably a jeep.
Highly recommended.

07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .
13/10/2025: I have been here twice in 2018 & 2025 and I must say that here I felt the most chilled atmosphere. Food is good and has a touch of gourmet to complete each dish. Definitely recommended.

06/10/2025: Great restaurant with lovely food, the house starter was very filling and almost enough for a whole meal. Meat lovers will enjoy themselves here, well prepared and plenty of choice. Large portions, reasonably priced with high quality compared to larger cities.

28/11/2025: When choosing a restaurant, please note a specific design element: there is a very large and realistic spider figure above the entrance. Those who feel uncomfortable at the sight of arachnids may want to take this into account. Personally, I have decided to choose another place.
30/10/2025: The pizza was good, as it is everywhere in Italy. The carbonara was terrible, and the lasagna was also not recommended.

22/09/2025: Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Spent two days here and enjoyed both of those days. Drinks were good food was amazing.
15/09/2025: Very beautiful beach, the water is clean. We were there as early as 9 a.m., and it wasn't very busy. For me, swimming here is much nicer than in Taormina, but everyone has their own preferences. Parking is available for tourists a few streets away; you can't park directly on the beach.

21/09/2025: Fantastic oasis on the side of the road! While beach hopping on our bikes we passed this roadside stand and got the two specialties (€5/ea) - lemon granita mixed with fresh squeezed orange juice. Delicious and needed in the heat! Lifted our spirits for the next leg of our biking.

L'accueil sympathique. Les plats gastronomiques sont bons. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Propositions d'accord mets et vins.
L'huile d'olive est dingue!
Nous sommes repartis avec de l'huile d'olive et des bouteilles de vins de la région.
05/06/2025: If you are in the area, I cannot recommend the wine tasting enough! Barbara was so lovely and knowledgable and shared so much information about the vineyard and each of the wines. After the tour we tasted 4 of the wines and had some Sicilian Street food which was amazing! We loved the wine so much that we bought some to take home with us and also enjoyed a bottle or two in the terrace area. Gorgeous setting, lovely staff and brilliant wine!

28/09/2025: Nice charcuterie board and amazing pizza. The staff was friendly and the location was nice and with a warm atmosphere. Not very expensive, about 67€ for the charcuterie board, two pizza, half a litre of white wine, one limoncelo spritz and we brought a few pieces of pizza that we couldn't finish.
Highly recommend.

16/11/2025: Mo' Avast presents itself as a fairly informal place. The atmosphere is almost homey, and the dishes are simple recipes that blend Apulian and Greek cuisine, with results that, in my opinion, aren't entirely satisfying.
The appetizer was octopus meatballs on a bed of hummus, and I must say it was excellent.
For my first course, I had the Greek moussaka, which left me with nothing; I've definitely had better.
For my second course, an off-menu item: cod cooked in milk, onion, and a spice I can't remember. It was basically a soup, and the amount of cod was ridiculous. I'd never order it again.
The service is friendly and approachable.
I recommend this place for anyone looking for a Sunday lunch in a homey, unpretentious atmosphere.

12/12/2025: I'm also reviewing on behalf of other diners. Dinner with colleagues, a long table, and a pizza round for everyone. I'll leave aside the quality of the food and the location: that's a personal preference, I liked it. The only sore point we all agreed on was the quantity! The pizza round should include sampling various types of pizza, but since I'm giving you almost €30 per person, can you at least give me one pizza each? If we're a table of over 30 diners, you can't just leave with one appetizer each and barely 20 pizzas in total. Too bad.
12/10/2025: I went last night with friends and we had a delicious evening. We chose pizzas: well-topped and with excellent dough. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.
