23/07/2025: Il posto è vicino al Duomo di Messina. Purtroppo ci sono state molte pecche sulla precisione e la fattura dei piatti e mi aspettavo di più rispetto al prezzo, un piatto era immangiabile e il proprietario non è stato cortese. Mi dispiace.

17/06/2025: Fixed menu, neither good nor bad. Mixed fried appetizer and some nice portions of mixed fish, first and second courses failed. Sgroppino for dessert. Totally oxidized wine (in a jug), we sent it back to get a bottle. Given the freedom given by the fixed menu, I thought it was something more challenging and different.

14/06/2025: Excellent! The interior design is elegant, modern, and relaxing. The staff were nice, and professional, and the food was delicious. Top quality products, everything from antipasti to dessert was excellent! Will for sure go back again. Highly recommend!

30/06/2025: The right place in Milazzo! At Ugghiularru I felt welcomed like at home: in the kitchen there are the father and mother, two true artists of taste, while in the dining room Giuseppe, the son, is of rare courtesy. I tasted the lemon squid—simply phenomenal! The fish is very fresh, cooked with passion and mastery, and the entire menu is a tribute to the sea. If you are looking for an authentic experience, this is the right place. Highly recommended!

08/07/2025: A classic Saturday night never to be repeated. We have a table booked for 4 people at 9pm, we sit down... after a while we are served the menu... we take 1 appetizer to share and it arrives quickly.... after.... we have a gap of almost 2 hours.. we receive (after our complaints about the long times) the second courses and the first requested by my pregnant friend (salty busiate and sent back). The waiters tell us that when cooking express the customer has to wait for them if he wants to eat... they tell us that these are the owner's instructions... Ok if it was indicated in advance... We would never have come... we sit down from 9pm... we get up in a hurry at 11.30pm... receipt made without specifying the meals... We probably had to wait more time for this service too...... If the waiters admit that the times are too long there is a basic problem.... Put fewer tables and make a better impression with a kitchen on the spot... (You can't tell me after 1 hour and a half that we booked the fried fish was finished) negative experience.

16/06/2025: I had written what is reported below .... but speaking with the owner of the restaurant he explained to me that it's been almost 2 years since he removed himself from thefork and they continue to advertise it and therefore it wasn't his fault ... However the food wasn't bad it's the thing that I was sorry about and that I was convinced I had booked with a 20% discount and I didn't receive it ... Do not book with thefork because they don't apply the discount and they scam by saying that they don't use thefork in the meantime they had my reservation and in addition they also made a single receipt without detailing the courses and prices so that one can see how much they paid for each course and if the prices are correct then they are scammers ...

It felt like a true immersion in the Italian way of life, especially since we were able to enjoy our dinner in an Italian alleyway – an unforgettable experience! But let's get to the most important thing: the food. Without exaggeration, the meal was a delight for the palate! Every dish was full of flavor and prepared with love. It's obvious that the food is cooked with passion and uses fresh, high-quality ingredients. The only minor drawback was that the service could be better. While the staff was friendly, there were times when we felt a bit forgotten. This didn't significantly detract from the overall experience, but there is definitely room for improvement. Nevertheless: If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a charming setting and can overlook minor service glitches, you should definitely visit Osteria Il Commensale. The food alone is worth the visit!

20/06/2025: Easy going place with very friendly staff. Menu and prices, so no surprises. The food was excellent for a reasonable price. We got the leftovers nicely wrapped, so perfectly ok portions.

The day was quite muggy 40° But inside it was cool Location well furnished, bathrooms clean and supplied with soap and paper. I glimpsed a swimming pool I think for those staying

20/05/2025: Ho usato questo ristorante per festeggiare la comunione di mio figlio insieme ai miei familiari. Il servizio è stato scadente, perché benché con il proprietario avessimo concordato una determinata posizione dei tavoli, ci siamo trovati in tutt'altra posizione senza che il proprietario ci avesse avvisato(avevamo prenotato sei mesi prima). Inoltre, il proprietario, ha insistito nella sua motivazione benché fossero ingiustificate. Ovviamente l'unico scopo era quello di accogliere più clienti possibili, a discapito del servizio. Benché abbiamo scelto il menù più costoso, non ho trovato giusta questa grande qualità, in sostanza l'esperienza è stata una delusione.

21/04/2025: Decisamente il "Punto Giusto" in cui fermarsi per gustare la pizza migliore di Palazzolo. Sempre attenti alla scelta di prodotti locali e stagionali. Impasto soffice e lievitato a dovere. Fabio poi, con la sua simpatia riesce ad accoglierti in maniera amichevole e professionale. Anche i nostri amici più "difficili" da accontentare, sono sempre usciti soddisfatti e piacevolmente colpiti dalla qualità garantita dal posto. Mi sembra un buon motivo per andare e provare, no?

09/07/2025: On the occasion of a very special occasion, we decided to visit a very well-known and renowned restaurant in our city for dinner. It's located in the historic center, right on a street that connects Piazza Lionardo Vigo, adjacent to the church dedicated to the co-patron saint, San Sebastiano, to the Piazza del Duomo, overlooked by the Acireale Town Hall and the Cathedral. Because it's summer, the pizzeria moves all its seating outside, in a small green villa overlooking the square. We were greeted by a very young, yet expert, competent, and above all friendly staff. After a reasonable wait, we received a portion of classic, simple French fries and then two pizzas: a "Norma" and a "Profumata." We enjoyed all three courses because they were prepared in a reasonable amount of time, with impeccable ingredients and cooking, which truly satisfied our taste buds. Despite the very common products, tradition and quality, as always, outweigh innovation and originality when not combined. The restaurant is fully equipped, even inside, and the menu offers a wide selection of dishes, divided by category, as well as traditional desserts from our local cuisine. The bill was also absolutely reasonable for what we ordered and the service we received from all the staff, even when making our reservation. The quiet and simple yet formal atmosphere, along with the excellent dinner offered, made this moment of remembrance an occasion we will never forget. We at MG Reviews recommend Vecchia Aci for any need, because everything is systematically tailored to your convivial setting. We noticed this in our situation and also observed it at the tables adjacent to ours, which were seated by a very diverse group of people. 14/07/2025: Very high prices, but the dishes don't justify them, some of which were technically flawed, such as a ceviche with just one fish and so much onion that you couldn't taste the flavor of the single fish. First courses with sea urchin foam. In short, very little raw material, sometimes foamy, sometimes emulsified. Not enough fish, not much substance. What did we pay? Nothing to complain about the service. The place was half empty.

14/07/2025: The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is excellent. They recommended a delicious, chilled white wine. The eggplant ravioli was very good (especially the tomato sauce that accompanied it). The risotto wasn't very tasty. We didn't love the tiramisu.

27/06/2025: We are 3 people and we were put on a table for 2. There were other families that were accommodated to a 4 people table. We had to squeeze in to eat our food normally. Great food and very friendly crew though.
