We are vacationing in Sardinia and chose L'Alternativa based upon the reviews. Do not hesitate to make a reservation here. The food is exceptional, serving staff and chef are very friendly and accomodating. Thus far, it was the best meal we had in Sardinia!

The pizzas are some of the best I've ever tasted

We booked the restaurant by phone. What a wonderful experience my husband and I had that night! The restaurant is very beautiful and pleasant, the atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. Regarding the service, we were served by 3 different waiters and they all treated us very well…with a special mention for a woman who served us whose name we unfortunately didn't get, but she was very kind and friendly, truly a 10/10. As for the food, we ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and it was great. It comes with 4 flavors and all were excellent. We also ordered the carbonara and a meat dish with herbs and tomato, both dishes were incredible. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu which was sublime, smooth and delicious. In addition, we ordered a pizza to take home and eat at the beach the next day. We really recommend the restaurant to everyone. Oh, it's important to point out that the price is great, really an incredible value for money and the visit was well worth it. What a wonderful restaurant, very good food and well served.

Delicious carbonara and tiramisu, I recommend it!

Delicious pasta with excellent service!

Highly recommend this place - best salmon we’ve had so far, the potatoes tasted amazing, and so did the veggies as well as the salad with great dressing. As a starter we ordered pasta to share - creamy and delicious. Make sure to try the tiramisu, too.

We had the beetroot and vegetable quiche style dish for starters and then the ciao peppe and a pomodoro pasta for mains. Staff friendly. Not the most beautiful of locations.

A wonderful discovery in Liscia di Vacca! A Roman osteria that also offers excellent Sardinian dishes, with truly excellent cuisine, rich in authentic flavors and served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Impeccable service: friendly, helpful, and very professional staff. Special attention is paid to even the smallest children. Highly recommended!
