30/06/2025: Locanda Sa Matracca is a guarantee of goodness regarding pizzas! I hadn't been there for years, I also tried the Cagliari location and this one, in my humble opinion, is slightly better. All pizzas are very good and inviting. Quality-price ratio is unquestionable. Very friendly staff. Both locations do not have the sign in plain sight, you have to pay attention. Reservations recommended. Congratulations, keep it up :)

The owner is a wonderful person, he not only takes care of his customers but also of the stray cats... what can I say, a wonderful man. The restaurant is very nice and the food is excellent. 09/07/2025: Such a charming restaurant! We had the loveliest time dining by the square, tucked in the cool shade with a light breeze drifting through. It was around half past four, and everything felt just right. The food was incredible. We had the grilled fish with Swiss chard on the side, and the slow-cooked beef with mashed potatoes—both were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We couldn’t have been happier with our choices. The service was fantastic, too. The staff were so warm and friendly, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. For dessert, we finally tried the traditional Sardinian Seada, along with a classic Tiramisu. Both were heavenly—crispy, creamy, sweet, and totally worth it. Highly, highly recommended. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

18/06/2025: Very beautiful white sand beach, magnificent transparent water with fish. Shower, toilets (without keys I think it's a tradition in Sardinia 🤣) and paid parking right in front. 26/07/2025: Francesco runs this family-run restaurant with flair and expertise. A wine expert and lover of his beautiful region, he offers a menu that showcases seafood with innovative twists. We spied some very interesting dishes at our table. Our Catalan paeja from Alghero was simple yet extraordinary, with the scampi already cut into the back and ready to be eaten. The Sardinian wines in the cellar were excellent. The seadas were well-prepared, but the second chocolate dessert, the ccccheeeesscake, was a bit of a concern. ("That's what it's called"). The reservation system was excellent.

03/07/2025: Nice location, clean and tidy, located on the first floor. Kind, friendly and helpful staff. Super well cooked food... not the classic pasta dish that you can easily cook at home. Exquisite dishes and cooked in an original way especially fish-based, I would add everything very excellent. Excellent value for money. The portions are right. Excellent fried carasau bread... served upon arrival.

26/06/2025: An unforgettable experience. Easily in the top 3 meals of my entire life! If you’re looking for an authentic Sardinian experience, this is it. We arrived without a reservation in the evening and were warmly welcomed to a table on the balcony amongst local families enjoying great food with great people. There isn’t exactly a menu to speak of - which is a good thing. We were offered choices between fish, vegetables, and meat; we opted for fish and simply said yes to everything - we were presented with almost countless fish and seafood based appetisers, delicious ravioli, as well as sea bass and desert. Not to mention fresh bread, pane carasou, a stunning bottle of Vermentino, and some homemade Mirto as a digestif. We worked out we had over 10 different types of fish and seafood during this meal! The chef, Antonello, is an artist - I hope he, and this amazing Osteria, will be still be there when we return to Sardinia. Thank you!
