07/12/2025: We came all the way from Milan specifically to admire this fabulous view, ruined by tasteless dishes. Bland cured meats (except for the lard—in fact, I gained weight because I only ate that—and the spicy butter). The sciatt were sloppy, and I stared blankly at this fantastic view while chewing on bland pizzoccheri. Let's just say it wasn't worth it. Next time, I'll eat them at home while looking at a beautiful photo. The decorative antipasti salad is recommended. The owner was as cold as the outside temperature. But my internal anger became very hot when I was stuck on the road home for more than 40 minutes without being notified by her. Summary: never again.

01/12/2025: All good: Beautiful atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, good food and wines. View of the city of Tirano (if seated on the veranda). Tried: sciatt, cured meats, risotto; venison.

21/03/2026: Business lunch was fine. Plenty of space. Parking was limited.

08/03/2026: I returned a few years after the management change. A huge disappointment. Good food, friendly staff, but poor service. Lots of confusion with the order and an unforgivable delay in serving the starters. From ordering to the arrival of the last blueberry risottos, there was a wait of over an hour. No change of cutlery, even though they were covered in sauce. The seafood spaghetti was not al dente but rather al dente. Total confusion, I asked for an explanation, but the answer was lost. Never mind!!! At least the coffee was good. N.B. At the time of payment, a kind gesture was given: they gave us complimentary liquor and two free bottles. It's appreciated, but the review remains unchanged. Reviews are needed to improve!!!

17/02/2026: This is an amazing culinary experience. Meal usually has 4 courses. Run mostly by Elio and his wife. Menu changes daily. Open only on weekends. Reservations a must asthey don't open if not enough people show.

22/11/2025: Found this place by chance thanks to my friend SZ. Small, family-run place. Excellent trio of first courses, top-quality ingredients, and chef Elio is a guarantee. Homemade desserts. Definitely worth returning.

20/04/2026: What a great find in Monza! We went to Ti Porto this evening somewhat by chance, with friends, and I have to say it was a truly pleasant surprise. The place is beautiful and well-kept, with a unique atmosphere: from inside, it almost feels like being on a fishing boat, truly original and welcoming. The menu is varied and full of interesting ideas, perfect even for large tables like ours (there were eight of us). We opted for the 1.5 meter of mixed fried fish, of which I've attached a photo: plentiful, well-made, and very good. The staff was kind and helpful throughout the evening, always attentive but never intrusive. A special thanks also to the manager (whose name, unfortunately, I don't remember), who was incredibly kind until the end and very professional. She told me they also have another place in the area called Svakka, which I'll definitely try soon! I'll definitely be returning to this place. Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ P.S. I forgot! Shall we talk about how they present tiramisu? Gorgeous and delicious

19/04/2026: A highly original seafood-themed restaurant decorated like a seafaring galley and accented with modern antiques. Fresh fish is on display at the counter. For appetizers, we ordered a mixed seafood gratin and a seafood pastry consisting of a cream puff filled with salmon tartare, a cannoli filled with tuna tartare, and a savory sfogliatella with a creamy filling. For first courses, we had paccheri with octopus ragù and crispy bread crumble and nduja, seafood scialatielli, and finally, seared salmon with beetroot chips and lime zucchini cream. Everything was delicious. Reservations recommended. We'll be back.

05/04/2026: Pizza chef for a day!!! A truly interesting and useful experience, and overall a wonderful evening. The pizza was delicious, and the fried foods were included in the price of the event. Thanks and many compliments to the master pizza chefs, Dr. Pietro and Terence.

10/01/2026: I organized a walk from the San Michele guesthouse to the Nablus restaurant, where we enjoyed our stay. Starting from the guesthouse, the route is slow, and after about 30 minutes of walking, you reach the restaurant. The road is very scenic, with some slight slopes. The return journey is a bit uphill, but doable on a paved road.

26/10/2025: Nablus was recommended to us by locals, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The view is magnificent, the staff is friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered.

12/04/2026: We had a very good meal here, but we made the mistake of choosing a table inside the restaurant. It was very noisy, unfortunately. But that's actually quite normal for Italy. Recommended, but I'd recommend sitting outside under the lights. I think that makes dining here even more enjoyable.

07/04/2026: The place is dated, but the staff is helpful, even if not perfectly on point. The beer, which they call "unfiltered amber," is a good unfiltered lager. The pizza is well-made, light, and flavorful, and the service is super fast. If they had paid more attention, it would have received a higher rating.

03/03/2026: I immediately loved this place. The refined atmosphere is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme (including the wallpaper!), with lots of unique and beautiful paintings, but not only that... centerpieces, sculptures, and decorations, all without being over the top. And all well-placed. Excellent pizza, including gluten-free. Delicious dishes and beautiful presentation. Seeing the bar, I ordered a gin and tonic. Super! Top service. The food is worth it. Perfect location. In the summer, the entire outdoor area has a wonderful view. In the winter, the view is always beautiful, with these large windows. They also have a limited number of rooms, and I would have loved to stay here, but unfortunately we had already booked somewhere else! Maybe next time.

09/02/2026: We happened to pass by (we are from Bergamo) for lunch and we stopped and we have to say that everything was excellent... tasty and really good dishes... two hot seafood starters and two fish main courses (the octopus is highly recommended)... coffee and rum with chocolate top... highly recommended... the waiter was very kind.

13/01/2026: It was incredibly delicious! The staff said their signature dish is meat, and the meat looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't have the budget! 🥲 The cheese on the pizza was so rich, it was truly amazing! The pasta was also just right.

12/04/2026: Very nice location, we stayed 2 years ago. They apparently no longer welcome children: their website doesn't list them, and asking directly would be exorbitant. Same room, same conditions, for two adults €267; for two adults + one 4-year-old and one 8-year-old €460 (sofa bed and children's spa kit not available)... Just write "adults only" and you'll look better.

11/04/2026: We spent a few days at Tenuta de l’Annunziata and had a rather disappointing, mixed experience overall. Our rating is definitely leaning towards 2 stars, and we wouldn't book the hotel again. I can't understand why the hotel still has some positive reviews. The location is definitely a highlight: very quiet and idyllic, situated between Lake Lugano and Lake Como – perfect for relaxing. The grounds themselves are well-maintained and clean, and the cleaning staff do a fantastic job. The spa area is also lovely. Free parking is available, and we especially appreciated the option of having breakfast outside. Unfortunately, several aspects significantly marred our stay. The staff seemed very impersonal, and we repeatedly felt that international guests were given less attention due to language barriers and the staff's limited English skills. The service was inattentive – you had to actively seek out a second cup of coffee at breakfast. Breakfast itself was disappointing: a very limited selection, heavily focused on sweets, with hardly any healthy options. The scrambled eggs were also rather runny and not very appetizing. Further points of criticism: The outdoor pool was closed despite an outside temperature of around 24 degrees Celsius, which we found incomprehensible. The shower was also cold in the morning. The small, single-use packages for the toiletries don't seem particularly sustainable either. A coffee machine is available in the room, but the price of €5 per capsule is outrageously high. Overall, it's a beautiful property with a lot of potential, but the service and some details unfortunately don't live up to expectations.

12/01/2026: **TOURIST TRAP** DONT GO!! We chose this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday during our trip to Italy, expecting a special dinner. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had while traveling. We've eaten at numerous truffle-specializing restaurants around the world, where dishes are typically served with a standard amount of truffle included, and any extras are always clearly explained and agreed upon in advance, with transparent pricing. Here, the exact opposite happened. Despite calling itself a truffle restaurant, the dishes were served without any truffle base. The truffle was then grated at the table without our request or even being asked if we wanted it. No price per gram was explained, no quantity was discussed, and no consent was sought. The staff continued to grate, giving the impression that it was a standard portion included. Only when we received the bill did we discover an extra charge of €112 for just 12 grams of truffle, a cost that had never been communicated or previously approved. When we challenged it, the restaurant refused to remove the charge, merely apologizing and attributing the error to the staff. This is unacceptable. Products charged by weight and at market price must be clearly explained and explicitly approved by the customer. We know that truffles are expensive. What is unacceptable is being charged blindly, especially when customers may have language barriers. I strongly advise anyone not to allow the addition of truffles without first clearly confirming the price per gram and the quantity. We will not return and cannot recommend this restaurant. ******* We chose this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday during our trip to Italy, expecting a special and memorable dinner. Truffle was then shaved tableside without us asking for it and without being asked whether we wanted it. No price per gram was explained. No quantity was discussed. No consent was sought. The shaving continued, giving the impression that a standard portion was included. Only when the bill arrived did we discover an unexpected €112 extra charge for just 12 grams of truffle — a cost that was never disclosed or agreed to before hand. When we raised the issue, the restaurant refused to remove the charge and simply apologised, blaming it on a “staff mistake.” This is unacceptable. Items charged by weight at market price require clear explanation and explicit customer approval. Truffle is expensive — we understand that. What we do not accept is being charged blindly, especially when tourists may face language barriers. I felt like this restaurant is deliberately ripping off tourists!!! Many of the google reviews reflected similar negative experiences of being blindly and forcefully charged on scam!!! Local seems to be no issue??
