10/02/2026: I called to book a table for Valentine's Day and politely asked how it worked, whether they had a set menu or not. The lady told me rather curtly to check their website and social media channels. Unfortunately, there wasn't any information there. I pointed this out, and then they asked me to leave my phone number, saying, "Yes, we'll send it to you later." Never seen that before. Making fun of customers isn't nice.

29/12/2025: We booked with a The Fork card and were greeted immediately by friendly staff who seated us in the dining room. We sampled an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert—all homemade and traditional. Excellent! I recommend it to anyone who wants authentic food in an unpretentious place.

11/03/2026: A very enjoyable stay. The hotel is very well-maintained, with clean, comfortable rooms and meticulous attention to detail. The entire place makes a great impression from the very first moment. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, allowing you to truly relax. Everything worked flawlessly, and you can feel that the hotel cares about its guests' comfort. The location is also excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. I would gladly return again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

01/03/2026: Let's just say this property has lost at least one star over time. In my opinion, this is precisely the problem. It doesn't have the typical service of a 4-star hotel. If it were a 3-star, my opinion would be different. The property itself is very good and is located practically on the lake with a remarkable view. However, it needs to be refreshed and updated. I stayed there with my son, and we're both big and tall. No problem with the size of the room or bathroom... but the beds, for example, were totally inadequate... the springs of the mattresses sank into our backs. We didn't sleep well. The staff is certainly very friendly, but not always well-trained. Let's just say that hospitality in the tourism sector is a different matter. Ultimately, in my opinion, it would be enough to refresh the property a bit and work more on staff training. It's a shame because the potential is there.

28/01/2026: I went there with family and friends on Saturday evening. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The pizza? Very good and easy to digest. I definitely recommend this place. There's a large, convenient parking lot in front of the restaurant.

14/03/2026: Great quick breakfast of Americano, croissant, and fresh orange juice on a cozy contemporary atmosphere with friendly and helpful service from Bernice. We were in and out in 30 minutes which was perfect for our day of touring but I am sure if we had wanted to linger it would have been fine. Breakfast was included in our guesthouse rate, we just handed over tokens to pay.

15/02/2026: We visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day, a night where we expected attentive service and more careful management of the time. The location is beautiful, no complaints there... but unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. The main problem was the excessive delay in service. We ordered at 9:15 PM, and the appetizer (tartare and squid salad) arrived only at 10:15 PM. The main courses arrived around 11:00 PM, again without any communication regarding the wait time. At the cashier, they explained to us that they had had problems with the orders, but despite this, no courtesy was offered (not even a coffee), which on a night like this and with delays like this would have been more than appreciated. As for the food, the dishes were average, nothing that really justified the price. The two of us spent €129 for a tartare, a cuttlefish salad, a plate of casoncelli, macaroni with lamb ragù, and a €28 bottle of wine. It's a shame, because this place deserves a much higher level of management and customer service, especially on evenings like this.

15/02/2026: HORROR experience!!!! We arrived at 9:30 PM on Valentine's Day. After ordering at 9:40 PM, we were only able to eat our appetizer (a tartare and a cheese platter, so quick things to prepare) at 11:00 PM. Then we waited for the main course until 12:05 AM. After waiting, we got up and left without having eaten our main course. Despite this, we were given no discount, but we still paid a huge sum. A horrible experience, one not to be repeated. I highly recommend it. They ruined a special experience and day.

13/01/2026: It was incredibly delicious! The staff said their signature dish is meat, and the meat looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't have the budget! 🥲 The cheese on the pizza was so rich, it was truly amazing! The pasta was also just right.

08/09/2025: Chosen at random because it was nearby for a trade fair. Excellent choice because the pizzas, desserts, and service were fantastic. The food was delicious, and the lady (whose name I unfortunately don't know) was disarmingly kind. We'll be back every week!

05/03/2026: It's the beginning of March 2026 and I've already eaten out several times at Tutta Italia... but this is without a doubt the worst experience so far this year... they can't do anything and serve food from food industry bags in portions so small you'd immediately buy a piece of focaccia at the next bar/pizzeria... a real example of wanting much but not being able to, and charging a lot for little knowledge and skill... a disaster for the sector... it's a shame that this happens in a fantastic waterfront location full of ignorant tourists who aren't used to any better and who also put junk in the microwave at home... it's a disaster for people in the sector who, just a little further away, perhaps not on the water, do their utmost with knowledge of food and the sector to warmly welcome and care for their customers with delicious, honest, and proper food... in short, this is yet another restaurant where you shouldn't go to discover the delicious Bella Italia... my dispiace... running a business solely for the money can be done for a few years... and then finito...

14/08/2025: I've been a loyal customer for years. Excellent venue with both indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for a quick beer, an aperitivo, or an evening with friends. The selection of draft and canned beers is varied and excellent. The owner, who has extensive experience, chooses the beers frequently, allowing you to always try new ones. Excellent cocktails and other drinks are also available. The aperitivo is accompanied by excellent platters of handmade canapés. You can also order food: I highly recommend the pinsa. The best thing, however, is the staff, always friendly and capable of creating a family atmosphere for customers. Highly recommended.

16/03/2026: We had such an amazing stay at Hotel Royal Victoria in Varenna and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Lake Como. From the moment we arrived everything felt welcoming and effortless. The hotel arranged to pick us up from the train station which made arriving in Varenna so easy after traveling. It was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the level of service we experienced during our stay. When it was time for us to leave they also dropped us back off at the station which we really appreciated. We stayed in room 104 and the room was absolutely beautiful. It had that classic Lake Como charm but still felt very comfortable and elegant. The room was spotless and peaceful and it was the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed when you walk in. The hotel itself is stunning and being right on the lake makes it feel like a truly special place to stay. Breakfast each morning was fantastic with a great variety of fresh food and excellent coffee. Sitting there with views of Lake Como was the perfect way to start the day. What stood out the most though was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Federica from the concierge team. She helped get everything set up before we even arrived and gave us great restaurant recommendations while we were there. Having someone so helpful made a big difference for our trip. The location of the hotel is perfect and Varenna itself was an incredible place to stay. It made the whole Lake Como experience feel even more special. We will definitely be back if we ever return to Lake Como. Staying here is absolutely worth it compared to staying at a larger chain hotel in Como. The charm, service, and overall experience made this a truly memorable stay.

07/03/2026: A very welcoming place near the lake, even though you can't see the lake. The food is divine: I had a truly delicious roast rabbit. We also shared snails à la bourguignonne and two glasses of Franciacorta. It was all truly, truly enjoyable. A delicious lunch here!

12/01/2026: The rabbit with polenta was dry and stringy. It's worth another try, though, because if the place is full and you're not satisfied, you might have been unlucky.
