20/10/2025: Tried it on October 18th for dinner. Despite having booked two days in advance, we had to wait half an hour before being seated. As a partial excuse, I must say that it was Saturday, right in the heart of Pavia's nightlife, so a bit of a wait is to be expected. The staff were friendly, service was fairly quick, and the menu offered a wide selection of both fish and meat dishes (I personally had the seafood salad, which I rate as 5-star, and a 4-seasons pizza). They also had a wide selection of wood-fired pizzas (including pan pizzas, which they call baby), and a good selection of desserts. Drinks were also plentiful (wines, beers). Since we also did takeout, the wait for pizza was longer than usual.
19/10/2025: Poor service, little respect for customers, and subpar food. If you really want to find something positive, they have legume soup as a vegetarian option.

Extensive menu, even too extensive. Everything, however, was well-cooked and well-presented. Portions were more than satisfying.
Attentive service.
15/11/2025: Convenient for the area and for those coming from San Siro. Ideal for business lunches. The food is good, though not exceptional. The pizza is thin crust.

07/12/2025: The restaurant is located on the second floor with a beautiful view of the lake. The outdoor veranda offers a beautiful view, which can also be enjoyed in the winter when the veranda is closed thanks to the restaurant's panoramic windows.
Excellent food, with a wide selection of meat, lake, and seafood, and excellent service.

14/12/2025: Excellent restaurant! Outside, a beautifully manicured gravel garden. Inside, a very beautiful and warm atmosphere. Excellent staff, short wait (there were over 30 of us, and they didn't mess anything up), unique dishes, and meticulous attention to detail, even in the plating. Everything was delicious. 18/10/2025: A fairly simple pizzeria restaurant, starting with the very '80s-inspired decor and the service, while not excellent but still courteous, is also a good choice.
The pizza is good and the prices are reasonable.
We didn't have the chance to try the food.
For an unpretentious dinner, it's more than adequate.

14/11/2025: A typical trattoria near the Fondazione Prada, I had lunch here by chance with some colleagues. What can I say? The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, as is the excellent service. Everything on the menu is inviting, but then there's the star: the unexpected gorgonzola and leek pizza. Toward the end of the meal, we see it ubiquitous on every table; the host approaches us and tells us he'll make it on the fly if we want. How could I say no? I assure you, it's an experience you shouldn't miss. Congratulations!
21/10/2025: Upon entering Taverna Calabiana, you immediately feel welcome. The warm welcome and the restaurant's most beautiful table set the tone for a wonderful evening. Although we don't speak Italian, that wasn't a problem at all—the menu is available in several languages, and the staff takes the time to carefully explain everything.
What truly stands out is the passion for the craft. This radiates not only from the team but also in every dish. The chef deserves a deep bow—each plate was a small work of art, bursting with flavor, warmth, and passion.
We were simply enchanted by the dishes and the atmosphere. Taverna Calabiana isn't just a recommendation… it's an experience you'll remember.

25/11/2025: A welcoming place with fast, friendly service. The risotto was good, but the dish I absolutely recommend is the puff pastry with gorgonzola cheese, pears, and walnuts: truly excellent. A pleasant stop, well worth trying.
16/11/2025: An evening spent with friends for my birthday. It was a pleasant surprise, given the excellent customer reviews. The atmosphere was welcoming and homey, perfectly suited to the bistro concept. The place was carefully and elegantly decorated (the street clock lamp is reminiscent of the early 1900s). The service was prompt and impeccable.
Dessert was served with a birthday candle.
The menu reflects the bistro's philosophy.
Tasty dishes with excellent flavors, and the quality of the products was remarkable! Thanks to the owners!

22/11/2025: Nothing like the osteria of many years ago; now it's a restaurant like many others in the city center. The atmosphere is retro, the wall decorations are cute, and the inexpensive food at the entrance is nice, but it lacks atmosphere.
The traditional dishes are good (especially the ossobuco) and the elephant ear braciola, and the casoncelli are decent, but the slow and inattentive service, along with the rather steep bill, discourages returning.
20/11/2025: I tasted one of the best cuts of beef. The price is slightly above average, but the quality makes up for it. A legendary place, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Brescian cuisine.
