Thank you for your dedication and hard work—it was certainly difficult, but you gave us a delightful evening.

18/10/2025: A fairly simple pizzeria restaurant, starting with the very '80s-inspired decor and the service, while not excellent but still courteous, is also a good choice. The pizza is good and the prices are reasonable. We didn't have the chance to try the food. For an unpretentious dinner, it's more than adequate.

14/11/2025: A typical trattoria near the Fondazione Prada, I had lunch here by chance with some colleagues. What can I say? The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, as is the excellent service. Everything on the menu is inviting, but then there's the star: the unexpected gorgonzola and leek pizza. Toward the end of the meal, we see it ubiquitous on every table; the host approaches us and tells us he'll make it on the fly if we want. How could I say no? I assure you, it's an experience you shouldn't miss. Congratulations!

21/10/2025: Upon entering Taverna Calabiana, you immediately feel welcome. The warm welcome and the restaurant's most beautiful table set the tone for a wonderful evening. Although we don't speak Italian, that wasn't a problem at all—the menu is available in several languages, and the staff takes the time to carefully explain everything. What truly stands out is the passion for the craft. This radiates not only from the team but also in every dish. The chef deserves a deep bow—each plate was a small work of art, bursting with flavor, warmth, and passion. We were simply enchanted by the dishes and the atmosphere. Taverna Calabiana isn't just a recommendation… it's an experience you'll remember.

03/11/2025: I'm sorry to give such a low rating because the food is very good, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The waiter wasn't capable of managing a table of 15-20 people and immediately showed signs of being unhelpful, starting to pressure us from the very first minutes (by making a gesture of checking his watch). We couldn't have house wine except in glasses, or water except in 500ml bottles. When we asked for a wine list to choose from, the response was "I don't have any, I'll tell you." One dish was wrong, and despite reporting it, the correct one never arrived. A bottle of wine was returned due to a strange taste (which wasn't present in the others), and again, the waiter made faces at us, refusing to accept our opinion. A small mention of merit goes to some colleagues who were helpful in asking us if everything was okay. A terrible experience.

03/11/2025: Let's say 2.5 stars... An ancient and charming inn from the late 19th century, located in the historic center of Pavia, right next to the city's cathedral. Entering the restaurant feels like entering another dimension: tables and furnishings from times gone by, but at the same time, right next to the entrance door, there's a pinball machine... the question naturally arises: what the hell does it have to do with that place?... uh... Then, entering the two small rooms—one on the ground floor, the other on the first floor—you feel like you're entering a flea market, where you can find all those knick-knacks from days gone by; it's certainly a way of showing off the fact that this is a historic inn. But, alas, too much can be bad, especially all those dusty glass chandeliers dangling above your head... maybe not? The food, however, isn't bad, even if it's nothing special, and the staff is friendly and polite, if a bit aloof...let's just say the experience was definitely not a "wow!" experience. Anyway, we ordered an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, with a bottle of water and three glasses of wine, and we spent more than €81. Not exactly a bargain, let's just say...

30/10/2025: I went for lunch one day and had the octopus with potatoes and cherry tomatoes. They also brought us a white focaccia with oil and oregano. I liked it. The restaurant's interior is also lovely. I'll be back, so I recommend it.

05/11/2025: An experience to forget.. last night my mother, together with my aunt and two friends, came there for dinner...an experience to forget...as they ordered a plate of gnocchi with artichokes and my aunt and my mother felt sick, to the point that, when they got home, I had to give them Maalox for their stomachs...never again

20/10/2025: Beautiful and welcoming place, the service leaves much to be desired, only the welcome, the food for a graduation party and the price, unacceptable... risotto with sausage, probably cooked in two pots, raw for some, others... pappa e salsiccia for the visible and edible one, sour. I don't know if the aperitif was prepared by them, but I don't think so. Pizza and focaccia, as good as the other options, small panzerotti and classic stuffed pastries, glasses half filled, both aperitif and drink, plus sparkling wine with the cake. In short, the place is nice, but what they offer for €29.00 a head, absolutely NOT.

02/09/2025: A restaurant serving local specialties; we went there on Sunday, recommended by the owner of an antique shop. A delicate yet bold lunch, truly delicious. The restaurant is very well-maintained, and the staff are very kind and friendly. A very nice thing is that while you wait, after placing your order, you're offered a small platter of cured meats and a basket of delicious bread and breadsticks. Another lovely thing about this restaurant is the view from the balcony, a picture-perfect view.

15/11/2025: If we can say the pizza is good, we can also say the friendliness of the two male managers who alternate at the cash register is like a punch in the stomach. The atmosphere is what it is, and often in the evenings they alternate tables with birthday parties and people who would prefer a quieter and more private setting. Discretion between tables is nonexistent. You're often seated next to other people. The pizza prices and sizes are now commonplace at many pizzerias in Milan, but the other dishes are just not up to par. High prices for tiny portions, and I'm talking about a pizzeria on the outskirts of Milan.

05/11/2025: In a classic and welcoming restaurant, furnished with great care, the menu is varied and unique. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry and couldn't fully enjoy the food at leisure, but it's definitely a place I recommend and one I'd definitely like to return to.
