21/11/2025: A place that wants to be, but can't. Prices are high for the offerings and the atmosphere. Nothing special.
20/10/2025: Beautiful and welcoming place, the service leaves much to be desired, only the welcome, the food for a graduation party and the price, unacceptable... risotto with sausage, probably cooked in two pots, raw for some, others... pappa e salsiccia for the visible and edible one, sour. I don't know if the aperitif was prepared by them, but I don't think so. Pizza and focaccia, as good as the other options, small panzerotti and classic stuffed pastries, glasses half filled, both aperitif and drink, plus sparkling wine with the cake.
In short, the place is nice, but what they offer for €29.00 a head, absolutely NOT.

04/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. The dishes are very carefully prepared and of high quality. We tried the fillet with porcini mushrooms for the first time, which was truly delicious, and then two first courses, both of which were very carefully prepared and tastefully balanced, something that's hard to find these days. The service is professional and courteous.

10/11/2025: We went there on a Sunday for lunch. It's a super cozy place in the historic center, with several small rooms and a stunning heated covered courtyard, full of plants and lights, and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday, and they brought us streamers and funny hats with fabric candles.
20/08/2025: The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional.
We had two fabulous pizzas for dinner!

08/12/2025: I loved it! I had the perch, which was very well cooked. The dessert was also good: crème brûlée, which I would have served warm. The restaurant's location, overlooking the lake, was excellent.

15/11/2025: If we can say the pizza is good, we can also say the friendliness of the two male managers who alternate at the cash register is like a punch in the stomach. The atmosphere is what it is, and often in the evenings they alternate tables with birthday parties and people who would prefer a quieter and more private setting. Discretion between tables is nonexistent. You're often seated next to other people. The pizza prices and sizes are now commonplace at many pizzerias in Milan, but the other dishes are just not up to par. High prices for tiny portions, and I'm talking about a pizzeria on the outskirts of Milan.

18/10/2025: A fairly simple pizzeria restaurant, starting with the very '80s-inspired decor and the service, while not excellent but still courteous, is also a good choice.
The pizza is good and the prices are reasonable.
We didn't have the chance to try the food.
For an unpretentious dinner, it's more than adequate.
14/10/2025: On the main road, so it was easy to find. Excellent food and excellent service. The price is just as good as the food...excellent.

18/11/2025: Awful restaurant, good only for tourists, where they pass off a carpaccio of meat as tagliata, cooked haphazardly, with horrible side dishes and super cheap, anxious, and aggressive staff. Ugh.
Given the restaurant owner's response, I'd add that those round slices of meat were like a wafer, and since they come from who knows what cut of meat, they don't even know what a tagliata is. Continuing to write the same response to everyone who criticizes you won't make it the truth.
07/11/2025: Historic and timeless. The chatouebriand is truly delicious, and the pork with crispy rind is incredibly delicious ❤️❤️❤️
The service is excellent, attentive, and friendly.

07/12/2025: The restaurant is located on the second floor with a beautiful view of the lake. The outdoor veranda offers a beautiful view, which can also be enjoyed in the winter when the veranda is closed thanks to the restaurant's panoramic windows.
Excellent food, with a wide selection of meat, lake, and seafood, and excellent service.

14/11/2025: A typical trattoria near the Fondazione Prada, I had lunch here by chance with some colleagues. What can I say? The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, as is the excellent service. Everything on the menu is inviting, but then there's the star: the unexpected gorgonzola and leek pizza. Toward the end of the meal, we see it ubiquitous on every table; the host approaches us and tells us he'll make it on the fly if we want. How could I say no? I assure you, it's an experience you shouldn't miss. Congratulations!
21/10/2025: Upon entering Taverna Calabiana, you immediately feel welcome. The warm welcome and the restaurant's most beautiful table set the tone for a wonderful evening. Although we don't speak Italian, that wasn't a problem at all—the menu is available in several languages, and the staff takes the time to carefully explain everything.
What truly stands out is the passion for the craft. This radiates not only from the team but also in every dish. The chef deserves a deep bow—each plate was a small work of art, bursting with flavor, warmth, and passion.
We were simply enchanted by the dishes and the atmosphere. Taverna Calabiana isn't just a recommendation… it's an experience you'll remember.

05/11/2025: An experience to forget.. last night my mother, together with my aunt and two friends, came there for dinner...an experience to forget...as they ordered a plate of gnocchi with artichokes and my aunt and my mother felt sick, to the point that, when they got home, I had to give them Maalox for their stomachs...never again

02/09/2025: A restaurant serving local specialties; we went there on Sunday, recommended by the owner of an antique shop. A delicate yet bold lunch, truly delicious. The restaurant is very well-maintained, and the staff are very kind and friendly.
A very nice thing is that while you wait, after placing your order, you're offered a small platter of cured meats and a basket of delicious bread and breadsticks. Another lovely thing about this restaurant is the view from the balcony, a picture-perfect view.

16/11/2025: An evening spent with friends for my birthday. It was a pleasant surprise, given the excellent customer reviews. The atmosphere was welcoming and homey, perfectly suited to the bistro concept. The place was carefully and elegantly decorated (the street clock lamp is reminiscent of the early 1900s). The service was prompt and impeccable.
Dessert was served with a birthday candle.
The menu reflects the bistro's philosophy.
Tasty dishes with excellent flavors, and the quality of the products was remarkable! Thanks to the owners!
