03/11/2025: Let's say 2.5 stars... An ancient and charming inn from the late 19th century, located in the historic center of Pavia, right next to the city's cathedral. Entering the restaurant feels like entering another dimension: tables and furnishings from times gone by, but at the same time, right next to the entrance door, there's a pinball machine... the question naturally arises: what the hell does it have to do with that place?... uh... Then, entering the two small rooms—one on the ground floor, the other on the first floor—you feel like you're entering a flea market, where you can find all those knick-knacks from days gone by; it's certainly a way of showing off the fact that this is a historic inn. But, alas, too much can be bad, especially all those dusty glass chandeliers dangling above your head... maybe not? The food, however, isn't bad, even if it's nothing special, and the staff is friendly and polite, if a bit aloof...let's just say the experience was definitely not a "wow!" experience. Anyway, we ordered an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, with a bottle of water and three glasses of wine, and we spent more than €81. Not exactly a bargain, let's just say...

03/11/2025: I'm sorry to give such a low rating because the food is very good, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The waiter wasn't capable of managing a table of 15-20 people and immediately showed signs of being unhelpful, starting to pressure us from the very first minutes (by making a gesture of checking his watch). We couldn't have house wine except in glasses, or water except in 500ml bottles. When we asked for a wine list to choose from, the response was "I don't have any, I'll tell you." One dish was wrong, and despite reporting it, the correct one never arrived. A bottle of wine was returned due to a strange taste (which wasn't present in the others), and again, the waiter made faces at us, refusing to accept our opinion. A small mention of merit goes to some colleagues who were helpful in asking us if everything was okay. A terrible experience.

03/11/2025: We were happy with the hotel; it's well-connected by both bus and ferry. The hotel is small and simple, but perfectly adequate and in line with the price we paid. The breakfast was quite comprehensive, and the staff were very friendly. We would recommend it as a simple, budget-friendly accommodation option on the lake.

The location is well-maintained and well-furnished, with a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The place is clean, affordable, with parking, just a short walk from Prato di Campoli in the heart of the Ernici mountains. Recommended for everyone, especially families, with affordable prices!

06/10/2025: Nice location and good pizza dough, but everything else was terrible. Confusing and uninformed service, side dishes not listed on the menu. When asked if they had grillable vegetables, the lady at the table replied no, that they couldn't grill them, nor could you choose them because they were already pre-mixed and ready. "Okay, but what vegetables are they?" "Cooked vegetables." Ah. Okay (a small bowl of boiled diced vegetables arrives; perhaps you can find similar options at the hospital) There are no vegetarian dishes on the menu (all appetizers with meat or fish, the only meat- and fish-free first course is gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese, which still contains animal rennet; all main courses are meat or fish). Only one almond-based plant-based milk. It's helpful if you're gluten-free, but if all other intolerances and dietary restrictions aren't covered, perhaps it's not much use. €45 for two pizzas (one diavola and one porcini modified by removing the cheeses), two bottles of water, boiled vegetables, a net of chips, and a macchiato.

12/09/2025: Perhaps the place is too famous, and therefore not a good value. We went last Sunday with friends. The food wasn't bad, but the quality and quantity were inadequate for the price. The place was too dark; we had to use our phone flashlight to read the menu. The worst thing was the service. The waiters were inattentive, banging dishes on the table, and were very rushed (it was busy, but not terribly so). In the end, they even got the bill wrong, and if we hadn't noticed, we would have lost out. We laughed about it, but it could definitely be better...
