Trattoria La Colonna In Milano

Three of us went to eat on Saturday evening, late at night. They welcomed us with a meatball and a creamy sauce (on offer). All the dishes were excellent, the owners were very kind, and the place is really well-kept. I will definitely be back.

The food is good quality, although the menu isn't very extensive. It's a trattoria, so don't expect a pizza menu. The portions are rather small for the price. Even so, the service is excellent.

It's delicious. I ordered the beef cutlet and the risotto topped with ossobuco, and both were clean and tasty. The seasoning felt just right, not overpowering. The portions were larger than expected, so if you order too much, you might end up feeling full. The cutlet was tender and not tough, making it easy to eat. It seemed to have a better texture because it was made thin. However, since the portions are larger than expected, you might find it a bit greasy as you eat. The risotto is also very tasty, but the ossobuco adds a fun element just when eating the risotto alone might feel a bit bland. The staff are very friendly, and the restaurant itself is generally clean. If it had been dinner, I would have had wine, and looking at the menu, there was a variety of alcoholic beverages available as well. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place. The chocolate sausage I had for dessert was also very tasty (although it's called a sausage, it doesn't contain meat; it's a chocolate shaped like a sausage.)

Cozy and lovely restaurant with traditional Lombardian, northern Italy dishes. LOVE IT and highly recommend it!!!

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The portions were very generous.

We had a lovely dinner here. The atmosphere and ambiance was great! We tried mellanzane parmigiano as starter it was great. We also had milanese risotto with osso bucco and risotto with the local cheese and hazelnuts which were delicious. We would like to specifically thank Katia for the great service, she managed all the the tables with a smile and helpful attitude all night!

I go there every now and then for lunch and have always had a good experience. I've tried various dishes, and they've always been well-cooked, with natural, quality ingredients. The owner is friendly and always patient when managing the cash register with requests for separate bills, tickets, meal vouchers, etc.
