19/06/2025: Excellent gluten-free pizza, at a fair price (even if it costs €3 more than normal pizzas). The location is very central, a stone's throw from Como cathedral, and close to a very convenient paid car park (€2.50 per hour).

07/06/2025: Recommend the Milanese fried veal! Ham and mushroom pizza, tiramisu is good! Lobster pasta, Sicilian Cannoli!

14/06/2025: Il Casottino is a rare gem, one of those places that enter your heart from the first moment. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, with a perfect balance between tradition and attention to detail. Each dish is an explosion of true, genuine, memorable flavors. The cuisine is simply extraordinary, with very fresh ingredients and a passion that can be felt in every bite. But what makes the experience complete is the impeccable service. A special mention goes without a doubt to the waitress who served us and accommodated all our countless requests (unfortunately I don't know her name): kind, smiling, attentive and helpful. I recommend “Il Casottino” with all my heart, we will definitely be back again and again.

02/06/2025: We waited 2 hours for takeaway pizzas, about 15 pizzas, they arrive home burnt at most, I contact the pizzeria they tell me it's normal, the oven was hot, hot doesn't mean burnt, they said they would change them immediately, another hour of waiting I strongly advise against takeaway

15/06/2025: Upon entering this small, rather unassuming restaurant, you're greeted by an atmosphere that immediately evokes holiday feelings. Soft Italian music fills the room, creating the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable evening. The waiters not only impress with their attentive and warm manner, but also bring a wonderful lightness to their service with their typically Italian charm and temperament (without being intrusive). You immediately feel welcome – almost like visiting good friends in Italy, something I miss so much in the surrounding restaurants. It deserves many more stars!

17/05/2025: Trattoria as you expect, both in the dishes and in the environment. Genuine family management. The lamb is delicious. Wide choice. The first courses are abundant and good. I am not a fan of sweets so I do not give judgments but even in this case there is a wide choice. I absolutely recommend

04/05/2025: Il giusto compromesso tra un locale di classe e uno caratteristico. Gentilezza ai massimi livelli, qualità del cibo davvero notevole. Tutto del luogo o fatto da loro, davvero un posto in cui tornare e coccolarsi. Una menzione speciale per la scelta e la qualità dei vini, essendo anche enoteca, potete scendere nella cantina e riportarvi qualcosa a casa (come abbiamo fatto noi). 07/06/2025: Nous y sommes allés 2 soirs de suite. Tout était très bien les plats, l'accueil formidable du patron et du personnel. Nous avons passé un agréable moment. Comme nous étions 7 , nous avons pu avoir un petit coin à part très sympa. Merci pour la dégustation del allorino et toutes les petites attentions.

31/05/2025: The pizzas were historic; I'm in my 70's now, and have been eating pizzas in various countries for decades. We went because the reviews were good. Unfortunately, the brilliant female waitress tried to overcharge us by 100€, a "mix-up" on wine. Great for 88€, less so for 188€. Please go, but watch out for misunderstandings.

22/04/2025: Scoperto per caso durante l'ennesimo viaggio in Valtellina, nel delizioso borgo di Grosio, lontano dai flussi turistici più opprimenti. Conoscevo già i piatti principali della valle, per cui avevo delle aspettative, che sono state ampiamente superate: tutti i piatti delle tradizione, dai manfriguli ai pizzoccheri agli sciatt, preparati con sapienza e originalità; ottima selezione di vini, della quale abbiamo potuto assaggiare un Sassella riserva indimenticabile, giustamente consigliatoci in abbinamento ai piatti scelti; un servizio come da tempo mi mancava, fatto di mille attenzioni, eccellenti e chiare descrizioni dei piatti e un sincero interessamento alla nostra esperienza. Questa autentica perla della cucina e dell'ospitalità valtellinesi non ha nulla da invidiare ai tanti ristoranti blasonati della valle.

22/03/2025: Il ristorante propone piatti della tipica trazione valtellinese, ben realizzati. Ingredienti di qualità. Ottima selezioni dj vini. Peccato che il pane che ci è stato servito era immangiabile e durissimo. Servizio valido forse troppo sbrigativo. Prezzo nelle media.

20/06/2025: English: Hello everyone, I am the terror of restaurateurs and other phenomena that offer poor services in other sectors draining your wallet (lately with a mechanic in via Crescenzago, to say the least, hallucinating: I went into his place with a problem and came out with three problems, a response to my negative review on Google to say the least aberrant and, lately, some anonymous phone calls with a guy who speaks in Sicilian, could it be a coincidence???? Who is calling, Totò Riina himself?????? Unfortunately, this platform does not give you a way to dismantle the tsunami of infamy of the other!!!!!!). Returning to the Masseria, given that I have a certain thirty-year experience of restaurants, pizzerias and trattorias, I am strongly surprised by an average score. This place deserves, from my humble point of view, a slightly higher score unlike other places, well reviewed, which are associations, to say the least, to commit crimes!!!!!!!! I especially compliment Ahmed (the owner) and Tony (the conductor of the hall) who make me feel truly at home, unlike other nightmare and excellently reviewed places. To make a long story short, the result is the following: I enter calm and I leave veeeeeeeeeery calm, with a full belly, satisfied, pampered, listened to and above all, not taken for a ride when it's time to pay!!!!!! See you at the next adventure or misadventure.

09/06/2025: There were four of us there and we had made a reservation in advance – but we still had to wait for a table to be assigned. After being seated, it took another 20 minutes before anyone even took our order, and that was only because we actively asked. The starter arrived reasonably promptly, but we had to wait another half hour for the main course. Again, no information or apology in between. When we finally asked for the dessert menu, most of the desserts were already sold out. Overall, it feels like a restaurant that relies almost exclusively on its good location, not on quality or service. I never thought I'd write a Google review, but after that evening, it was important to me to share our experience. We definitely won't be coming back.

07/06/2025: Ordered two pizzas to go. We were told we were not allowed to sit and wait for the pizzas to be done, so we had to stand for 30 minutes. Little weird when we are also paying customers. Pizza was alright, a little hard, but at least had plenty of topping.

23/05/2025: With a large parking lot, elegant furnishings, a bright environment with well-spaced tables, this restaurant is perfect for any occasion: couple, family or friends. The menu (in addition to meat and fish) offers a good choice of pizzas from classic to Gourmet with excellent combinations. Ordered n°2 pizzas, n°2 desserts + n°1 medium beer and 1l of water. The pizzas when they arrived were wonderful: the right size, the filling and perfect cooking framed the excellent quality ingredients providing a delicious and very tasty pizza. The present and courteous service with average waiting times accompanied us to the good desserts and with the right portions. In conclusion: with an excellent quality/quantity ratio (total expense €45), a tidy and well-furnished place and excellent cuisine; I would recommend this place for any occasion to enjoy a high quality pizza.
