09/10/2025: I was riding my motorcycle with a friend and stopped at this restaurant. We started with an appetizer for two to share, costing a whopping €22. The waitress (with short, dark hair) was very cold throughout our stay, with a strange, stern expression on her face, very distant and not at all polite or friendly. When we questioned the small amount of fish in the appetizer, she irritably replied that the appetizer was for one person, not two. My objection was the small quantity for the price. In any case, a waitress shouldn't be allowed to address a customer inappropriately; perhaps it's best for her to change her job. The quality of the appetizer was good, not exceptional. Moving on to the first courses, we ordered the rigatoni with seafood sauce, which was good but again not exceptional. Lunch was washed down with some good glasses of prosecco (I'll spare you the details of how the waitress poured the wine until it was completely drained) and finally a coffee. The final bill of €75 seemed far too high for the less than stellar quality and the certainly not abundant quantity. Personally, I'm not satisfied enough to return, especially when I think back to that rude waitress...

13/10/2025: We went there for the first time for a fantastic exhibition at the castle. Excellent experience, warm welcome, attentive and friendly service, especially from the young man. The dishes were quality. We ordered mushroom risotto, pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola, etc. Everything was very good. I confess I would have liked to try the pizzas too. Recommended 👍

06/10/2025: For a quick lunch, I arrive at this place at 2:32 PM (closing time is 3:00 PM) and am rudely asked not to sit down, shouting, "There are plenty of other bars around here." Refuse.

09/12/2025: They fed me the pizza box, not the pizza, but the box. The pizza was so full that if you threw it at a waiter, you would cut off his head, and I won't say anything else. €40. €40. Two pizzas, the Fanta tasted like anything else, but not Fanta. Don't take the Fanta, don't take the pizza, in fact, don't go to the restaurant, it's better for your health and safety. I'll pass and close.

09/12/2025: I went there for lunch. There's a counter, so even if you're dining alone, it's a relaxed atmosphere. I'm too old to eat full portions, so I asked the staff for advice, and they were very kind and helped me choose my dishes. The food was delicious, and the ravioli in the dashi soup was especially good. Perhaps because it was a public holiday, the restaurant was packed from around 2pm, and it was very lively, which showed how popular it is. Reservations are essential. If you have time, I recommend going around 1pm so you can take your time choosing your dishes.

07/10/2025: My family and I have been to Mandragola many times and we had a really good time, the owners are welcoming and smiling, the service is excellent and fast, the dishes are exquisite and delicious, the owners almost always to entertain their customers sometimes have evenings with musical groups, shows and more now in this period they will have special events like Halloween party and in November there are 2 events Karaoke and the Thief of Faces which is a musical show and in December there is the special 90s evening you just have to choose and have fun, then they do modern and traditional cuisine are always special and extraordinary dishes special and very sweet welcome full of sincere affection, my family and I have always had a great time and we have always had a lot of fun it's like being at home Mandragola has always been our second home and still is I recommend you go there and you will not be disappointed kisses and hugs from your mascia Italian mummy

10/11/2025: The price of fish in Milan has sabotaged the Pescetto format: a quick, eat-and-go place for young people with light wallets who enjoy good fresh fish, and never mind the line at peak hours. Now the line, the young customers, and the reasonable prices are gone. What remains is the simple, unadorned place and, thank goodness, the quality of the product. A bottle of wine for two will set you back €100-120. I don't think that's enough for the average Milanese customer who wants a comfortable dinner, given the investment. Young people go to pizzerias or Chinese restaurants. It's not the owners' fault, but that's the way it is, and I'm sorry. Best wishes.
