The hotel is old, but it was clean overall. The owners were friendly and the reception was good. However, there were a few issues during the stay.
The bathroom had no shampoo because the bottle was empty. The parking was very narrow and difficult to find — especially in the mountains. If you leave your spot, you may come back and find it full. At night, the area is also very dark.
Another thing is that for a couple, they placed two separate beds together instead of one proper double bed.

Highly recommended, candlelit dinner. A wonderful, almost fairytale-like setting in one of Varese's most beautiful locations, top-notch cuisine, and a warm welcome.

Dinner for two: we tried the new menu, the combination of medlars and missultin was exceptional, and the rose cake was excellent. Kudos to the staff, who were courteous and unobtrusive, considering the romantic atmosphere of the evening. An ideal place for special moments.

Good drinks, but the platter was small for two, especially considering the price. The wait was very long, the staff were friendly, but they served the people who arrived after us right away, while we waited half an hour before we could order. The view was beautiful.
