Agriturismo Il Rudere In Salò

I'll start by saying that everything was fine. We were just a little unlucky with the room for a few things, but that didn't ruin our holiday. The beds and bathroom fixtures were clean, so it was fine. The owners were all very kind, as were the various waiters and staff. It was a truly pleasant experience. The place is surrounded by greenery, not exactly informal, but away from the noise and chaos of cars and traffic in general. The sound of the wind and the birds and the tranquility of the place are the main features. I'd like to point out something else and point out that the food is truly amazing. They use their own products and local products from breakfast to dinner. I highly recommend even just going there to eat.

First off: I can't comment on the rooms, as we ate at the adjacent agriturismo. We passed by Agriturismo Il Bagnolo during a hike. It's beautifully situated with a fantastic view of the lake. The grounds are spacious and also suitable for children. The tables were beautifully set, and the service was excellent. The food was really good. We had lasagna, pasta with porcini mushrooms, and strips of beef. We felt very comfortable there, and the owners even took the time to chat with us.

A beautiful agriturismo. Top restaurant. The only flaw is that there's a fantastic pool, but they don't always heat it. It's worth it for everything, but I think with the money you spend, guests should be allowed to use the pool year-round, especially since the photos showed it was heated, and we brought our swimsuits—we were disappointed.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel with a romantic view, thanks to Elisabetta, Giacomo, and Antonia, who made us feel at home. Their story is inspiring, as is supporting a responsible and eco-friendly hospitality business: we loved it. We highly recommend it for a weekend away from the city filled with peace, simplicity, love, and happy cows.

We just spent a wonderful family weekend at Agriturismo Il Bagnolo. It's a wonderful place surrounded by greenery, offering a variety of walks and hikes. Just a few kilometers above Salò, the restaurant offers a magnificent view of the lake. The room was very spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony overlooking the valley for relaxing in the sun. The beds were very comfortable. There's also a lovely pool, which we didn't try due to the season. The cuisine is authentic, with all the ingredients sourced from the farm, particularly the meat, cheeses, cured meats, and vegetables. A new vegetable garden will be planted soon. The appetizers are delicious: beef in oil, tartare, carpaccio, and rump steak in salt. Highly recommended for a relaxing break!

A very beautiful place... we stayed for the New Year's holidays. The rooms are large and spacious, with a fully functional refrigerator (a rare thing these days), which was essential for me to keep my dog's food cool, as she was very welcome. Personally, I would definitely prefer the warmer months, because you can use the pool and not have to go elsewhere during the day to avoid staying in your room. You could also walk downstairs for breakfast and dinner at their restaurant (approximately 500 meters as the crow flies). But with the darkness, fog, and cold of December, it wasn't really the right time. Traditional dishes with almost all their own or locally sourced products, expertly prepared by one of the owners. Very fair prices. I can't wait to return for Easter if the weather and temperatures are good. Best regards to all the staff.

Beautiful location, relaxing and with great view. The food was delicious and the kids had lots of fun!

We stayed for New Year's Eve, a charming place on the hill, the lodge was truly comfortable, the rooms were large and very clean! Excellent quality food cooked by expert hands, the tartar was butter, Mrs. Elisabetta made us feel at home, always kind and available for any request! Mrs. Antonia, a true Milanese, was truly nice and welcoming, we will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

A secluded yet fantastic location, exquisite food, kindness, courtesy, and the constant feeling of not being "guests" but part of the family. A huge thank you to the entire Gnes family for making us feel at home.

The place is quiet, nestled in the mountains. Excellent food, service, and great people. I would definitely go back!!
