What truly made the experience even better was the amazing service. The lady who served us was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home.

13/05/2025: We were lucky to arrive quite early, at a time when the average Romans still don't have dinner, and we found the pizzeria practically empty at our disposal. Usually it is normal to have a certain queue given the notoriety of this place. So, if you don't want to wait, don't go later than 7 pm. You will also be served calmly and attentively.

03/06/2025: Been back twice when visiting Rome! Small, friendly and tasty traditional Roman Osteria. Highly recommend the bruschetta to start and bolognaise ragu. Drinks are so reasonable also (€6 for a large Aprol spritz).

04/05/2025: We were truly disappointed with our experience at Hi-Res despite its beautiful setting. The restaurant was not busy, yet the service was incredibly slow — our starters arrived nearly an hour after we were seated. We ordered a virgin mojito and were served what tasted like plain lemon water. The seafood spaghetti had an unpleasant smell and was impossible to enjoy. Definitely not what we expected from a restaurant with such high ratings.

02/06/2025: Recensisco con molto ritardo, ma stavamo pensando di tornare e abbiamo deciso di no, quindi lo segnalo, in un'intera giornata al lago dove abbiamo preso da mangiare per pranzo da bere continuamente, lettino, gelato , caffè ecc avevamo bisogno di mettere in ricarica il PC perché il mio ragazzo lavorava, ci è stato detto di no, ma se avessimo avuto la possibilità saremmo venuti molto più spesso consumando per tutta la giornata, non so se ai gestori è convenuto alla fine.

05/05/2025: I am very happy to share this experience, because I had asked for information at a service station on where to eat excellent first courses and they suggested Il Caminetto. We booked by telephone, we were two families with 4 adults and 4 children, they welcomed us in this room with a fireplace in the center lit (it will be beautiful in winter, but in May it starts to get hot 😅, but we opened a window due to the problem). However, to make a long story short but not too long, we ordered the typical first courses of Rome including carbonara, cacio e pepe and tagliatelle with meat sauce. It was all S-Q-U-I-S-I-T-O, the carbonara was the real thing and the cacio e pepe was exceptional, never eaten so good. It's a shame that I chose short sleeves, sure that with spaghetti it would have been the best. We took two mixed meats, very good apart from the sirloin was a little too dry, the rest was really good. As a side dish they brought us two portions of french fries, and they were fresh, not the usual frozen ones. Half a liter of house red wine, just to accompany the meat and the first courses. In summary, 7 first courses, two mixed meats, two fried potatoes, half a wine, 4 water, 3 canned cokes plus covers, we spent €150, I think that is a more than fair price. We were very happy with the dinner, also because the next day the carbonara in a restaurant in central Rome was with cream... and I'll stop here. The only thing, the place is a little dated, but between a nice place and a good dish, I prefer the latter. Until next time, greetings from Naples. 01/05/2025: Very relaxing atmosphere in a very green context. The service was a little slow in the presence of so many people but still always friendly. Very good food. Very recommended. PS: internal parking which doesn't hurt at all and with a beautiful view of the surrounding natural context.

25/05/2025: Even though I live a bit far from this restaurant I decided to try it anyway because of the Neapolitan cuisine they offer. I have to say that I am really satisfied with the choice I ate very well with crispy and tasty fried food and a Neapolitan pizza that really seems to be the original with a tomato and basil really great flavor. Really very pleasant service with kind and friendly staff especially the girl who served me who always has a smile ready. Very small negative aspect that then maybe in the end is also positive the amount of people and maybe a not very ventilated environment But in any case cooking smells do not prevail just a good mess. I will go back.

25/05/2025: Experience that doesn't even deserve one star. I fully understand that on Saturdays there can be a lot of people, but this does not justify the chaos in the management of the service. We were served after a table that arrived well after us, and when we pointed this out, the waitress had the audacity to say "you have to tell me who was there first". In reality, it is her job to manage the order of the tables, certainly not the customers'. The wait was exhausting: more than an hour and a half to receive omelettes and pizzas. Every time we asked for updates, the answers were vague and always the same: "it's coming" or "now I ask", but nothing happened. Biblical times and total disorganization. The table service was not very attentive. One of the waitresses spilled the dripping water from the bottle and the beer on my friend's arm while serving, with an unacceptable sloppiness that not even in the worst tavern. And to lighten the mood, he tried to get to know me with an inappropriate arrogance, as if we had known each other all our lives. I didn't find it appropriate for the dynamics either. The icing on the cake? We had booked through The Fork attracted by a discount indicated on the app, but when it came to the bill it was denied by both the manager and the system. Strange, given that initially the discount was present. Scam? We don't know, but the suspicion remains. Only positive note: they changed a pizza that had a hole in it and the waitress was kind in acknowledging the mistake. But overall? Terrible experience, despite the mistakes, not even an apology or a discount. I won't return and I don't recommend it.
