27/05/2025: We were for the first time in this beautiful restaurant invited for a communion. Excellent service, the food is spectacular, both for the quality and for the care of the dishes. Everyone is very kind. We will definitely return very soon.

05/05/2025: Location molto accogliente con splendidi lilium all’ingresso. Tutta la sala ricca di veste di fiori e frutta. Tutto squisito dal tris di primi , pasta fresca cucinata in modo ottimo. Ottima anche la carne dalla tagliata alle cotolette di agnello. Il personale molto simpatico e professionale . Ci è stato consigliato da amici e nostra volta lo consiglieremo anche noi

07/07/2025: Best kept secret! The food at this place is amazing. The Cache Pepe is the best I’ve experienced not to mention the tiramisu. We have been traveling from Venice to Amalfi Coast eating paste and stumbled across this place….what a treat. Priced very well. Don’t miss this spot.

07/07/2025: One of the best meals during my 17 days in Italy. Best Cache Pepe so far, better than the two highly recommended restaurants in Rome we went to. Excellent food and service. This is a win great value also. Located just steps from Santa Maria Maggiore in the Monti district.

26/06/2025: We went for dinner and were served immediately. We wanted to go inside because it was still very hot outside, and that was no problem. The atmosphere wasn't bad, but the tables, as usual in these tourist spots, were packed tightly together with no room for air conditioning, just a fan. The food was delicious. We ordered Caesar salad and a pizza to share, although due to the size of the table, we had to have a separate plate for each person. The price was quite good for what we ate; we left very satisfied, but they charge for the service. We would go back for the food and the overall pleasant atmosphere.

17/07/2025: Ich war für 2 Monate von Mai bis Juli 2025 in Rom und habe in dieser Zeit im Stadtteil Portuense gewohnt. Das La Ruota ist für mich und meine Freundin schon so eine Art Stammlokal geworden, in welchem wir uns von Anfang an sehr gut aufgenommen und wohl gefühlt haben. Es gibt einen großen Innenbereich und einen - für römische Verhältnisse - gut gelegenen Außenbereich, der zum Gehweg abgegrenzt ist. Das Personal und der Inhaber sind sehr angenehme und zuvorkommende Menschen, das Essen ist gut, ebenso der Hauswein und die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Besucht wird das Lokal vor allem von Einheimischen aus der Umgegend, dabei auch viele Familien. Das bedingt natürlich auch, das nicht selten spielende Kinder drinnen oder im Außenbereich hin und her rennen, das ist hier so.

05/07/2025: The place is a bit out of fashion but what else can I say? The food is good, the service is by expert waiters who know how to do their job well. I have always eaten well and never had any problems, the Roman low pizza is delicious, the first and second courses are the same.

14/07/2025: A wonderful discovery just steps from our hotel. The owners are very welcoming. And the dishes are typical of Sardinia. The setting along the road isn't the most Roman-themed, of course.

08/07/2025: We were there before it opened but they invited us to sit and have drinks. We had a delicious appetiser while we waited. Our food was wonderful - they even made an off-menu pasta pomodoro for our 4 year old. We will definitely be coming back.

29/06/2025: Very nice location, ideal place to spend a wonderful evening. The waiters are prepared and available, ready to satisfy every request with professionalism and courtesy. It is not the first time we come, and it certainly will not be the last. Each time we have found a reason to return, between good dishes and a welcome that makes us feel at home.

25/06/2025: Terrible experience. Group of 30 people, went to the cashier to pay, some in cash, some with a debit card. We were told "you blocked my cashier", because of the queue that was created for payment, absurd. But beyond the controversy, it is always the education in saying things that makes the difference, and it was missing, too bad.

02/07/2025: This was a great find. The hotel recommended it and it was only a short walk from Occidental Aurelia. The restaurant is charming and traditional. We sat in the garden, which is vast and all tabkes with sun parasols. The food was excellent and we had a bottle of their own wine, which was so good and only 10 euros a bottle. We started with the most amazing salmon which was marinated in lightly pickled onions. Simply delicious. I had veal and my Son had pasta, followed with a gorgeous turamisu. Wonderful!

28/06/2025: In terms of food and ambiance, it's not a bad restaurant. However, it doesn't get 5 stars because we waited 25 minutes for dessert and another 15 minutes for the bill.

11/07/2025: My daughter and I went to this restaurant for dinner for the first time to eat fish. I must say that we enjoyed the food, which was good and plentiful, the service was fast, and the staff was very friendly. I recommend it.

01/07/2025: We sat down for 5 minutes and left after we tried to order our food. The waiter was rude and unhelpful, and many menu items were unavailable. Because of that, we had to look for alternatives, but the waiter acted annoyed and rushed us — even though the restaurant was nearly empty and we arrived two hours before closing. Time clearly wasn't an issue, yet we were treated as if we were a burden. The service was absolutely unacceptable. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Avoid it if you can.

17/06/2025: Very nice restaurant, well kept, warm and welcoming, we ate some fried food and a pizza there and I must say that both were excellent, the pizza light, crunchy and thin. To return to other dishes for sure

08/07/2025: Most amazing food!!! The lobster linguine is amazing!!! We paid $5000. For tour that included several meals, after 1st tour meal we decided to come back here and pay for our own food!!!

08/07/2025: This was the first restaurant we visited on our trip to Rome. They very easily accommodated a group of 10 people on their rooftop dining. The food was delicious and the service was even better. I would highly recommend.

13/07/2025: Very poor pizza, sorry, maybe we got the wrong one, it makes up for it with the F1 Ferrari atmosphere, I think it's worth visiting this place and maybe you'll be able to find a better quality pizza

12/07/2025: Two pizzas and water for 17 euros are prices rarely seen in Rome, especially in the tourist areas. Pizza with a very thin, crispy crust. It's worth venturing off the beaten path sometimes :)

26/06/2025: One of the best Roman pizzas in San Lorenzo, without a doubt. L’Economica is the classic place that focuses on what matters: the pizza. Thin, crispy to perfection, light and with fresh ingredients that really make the difference. All at more than fair prices – it’s hard to find better in Rome. A tip? Arrive early. You can’t book and it fills up quickly, so if you want to avoid the wait you should arrive early. Otherwise, arm yourself with patience… but know that it’s worth it. Don’t expect a “classic” restaurant: here you eat outside, at tables set up along the sidewalk. No pretensions, just good pizza and fast service. It’s perfect for an easy dinner, especially if you’re in the area or you fancy something good without spending a fortune. L’Economica has become a point of reference for those looking for real Roman pizza done properly. If you’ve never been there, fix that as soon as possible.

23/06/2025: The name is honest, probably the cheapest pizzeria in Rome. Tasted pizza supplì and pumpkin flower, the quality leaves much to be desired, only the pumpkin flower is sufficient. Recommended only for guys with iron stomachs who want to spend a night out spending little.

06/07/2025: Stopped at Felice a Testaccio as soon as we arrived in Rome and it was the perfect start. The cacio e pepe was incredible, they mix it at your table and it’s everything you want it to be. The ravioli was fresh, light, and full of flavour. Proper Roman food, done right.

05/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience at Felice a Testaccio didn’t live up to the hype. The service was rushed and inattentive. The atmosphere was underwhelming and lacked the charm we were hoping for. We came for the famous Cacio e Pepe, but found it quite bland and far from the best we’ve had, especially considering the reputation. Overall, both the food and the vibe felt overhyped. There are far better and more welcoming places to enjoy Roman pasta in the city.
