Taverna Lino was a wonderful find during our stay in Rome. Conveniently located just around the corner from the Vatican Museum and close to our hotel, it was the perfect spot for a relaxed light dinner after a day of sightseeing. We enjoyed a delicious Pizza Napoli, a fresh and light salad, and a couple of Aperol Spritzes to round off the meal. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. What impressed us most was the excellent service. The waiters were professional, courteous, and attentive throughout the evening, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely return for another meal. We can wholeheartedly recommend Taverna Lino to anyone looking for good food, friendly service, and a pleasant dining experience near the Vatican Museum.

So sad that this was our last dinner in Rome! Thank goodness it was a good one! LOL! Debated going back to one that was tried and true but exhaustion won out and we went with close to hotel . I've been referring to this place as the one with veggies on the table since day one. Look at the size of the mushroom and artichokes. Obsessed with fried artichoke since our food tour! So good here! We also enjoyed the lamb pappardelle which was perfect in my book. Hubby enjoyed his pizza, ranked it #2 out of the 5 we've had. I enjoyed my steak and loved the potatoes it came with. Enjoyed everything we had as well as the strawberry tart! This place has been around since 1947 according to our server. Decor was so cool! Service was excellent too! Our eyes are always bigger than our tummies lol. But hey, who knows when we'll be back.

The food was excellent, the location beautiful and cozy. But what we remember most is the owner: incredibly attentive and friendly. I'd forgotten my souvenirs at the table, and they actually ran after me to bring them back. Day saved! 😅 If you're looking for a really good meal after visiting the Vatican (museum), you absolutely must eat here. Highly recommended – we give it five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We happened to sit down on the terrace while looking for a place to eat, and everything was great, very tasty, and reasonably priced. If you're in the Vatican area, it's a highly recommended spot.

We had a lovely dinner at Taverna Lino. The food was good and Eligio, our server, really made the experience extra enjoyable. He was super attentive but not overbearing, made sure an allergy concern in our group was taken care of, and was fun to talk with.

My husband and I went there after visiting the Vatican Museums. The staff were very kind to my husband, who has a disability. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable.
