31/07/2024: Excellent fish restaurant, CLAMOROUS scampi cream (the real one without cream but made with fish bisque), simple appetizers without many frills, genuine hostaria wine, the only flaw was the lack of ice, super honest prices, also worth mentioning is the linguine cuttlefish ink with lemon zest! Well done, well done 👏🏼

31/08/2024: Food very good. Service good. Been there several times. Three blocks from train station . Depending which way you are walking to restaurant be careful. My gold necklace was ripped off my neck by Moroccan young man running. Rome needs to clean up the train Termini area for tourists.

09/08/2024: My favourite place on Lake Albano, it's lovely to be able to have a swim and then rest in the shade under pine trees. The atmosphere, especially in the evening/night is wonderful!

08/08/2024: Ate badly, actually more... The baked potatoes that accompanied the burger only tasted of garlic and were cold... The meat was decent but nothing exceptional and the sauces never mind... And do we want to talk about the waiters? They don't even know what it means to be in contact with people! Rude is the least, especially one of them.

27/08/2024: Nous sommes juste venu profiter du rooftop avec une planche apéro et un spritz. Tout était très bon mais très cher (18€ le spritz). La vue de la terrasse vaut par contre clairement le coup.

24/08/2024: Where should I start... my wife and I went here since we read good reviews and experiences about this spot on social media prior to coming here for our honeymoon. Other reviews on trip advisor say the views are great but service was bad. When we came, this was 100% true (but the service was worse). Aside from the view, the only positive was the host (young man with dark hair) who greeted us and noted our honeymoon and said congratulations. After that, everything went downhill. We sat at our table on the rooftop, didn't get greeted for over 15 minutes, then when we were greeted by our server, he took our drinks and came back 15 minutes later with our drinks. We made the reservation with a set apertivo menu, which was OK as we noted my wife had a tree nut allergy - the host was understanding, the server was not. When the food came from a different female server, she dropped off our food and looked at us like we were stupid for not understanding her speaking in Italian. In English, we asked if there were tree nuts in the dishes and she looked at us, didn't answer our question and continued in Italian explaining what was on the plate- looking at us like we were inconveniencing her. You can see in the photo, the appetizer was "sorry" at best. The best part was the potatoes (literally french fries)- the sushi, eggplant dish (we think?) and the melon wrapped prosciutto was not good. We couldn't get out of there faster- my wife did not eat her food because she didn't know what was in anything and the server didn't come by so we couldn't ask anyone else what was in the food. Also - 45 euros per person for a drink and the set apertivo- 90 euros total. I guess you pay 80 euro for the view and get 10 worth of drinks and free food... because the food was again not good at all. Not a great experience and would never come back, even for the view. If they scratched this set apertivo plate and gave you unlimited bruschetta - maybe it would be worth it. Surely there are better spots with views and good food. Wouldn't recommend or say it's worth it.

19/08/2024: The staff is very kind and helpful; the food is delicious, both in terms of the regular menu and the dishes of the day. The wine list is certainly the highlight of the place, as long as you are prepared to spend a little more (most of the wines are only one bottle, few glasses available): selected and fine wines of various origins, always specified . As tourists, we recommend the excellent typically Roman first courses, as well as the original variations proposed for other traditional recipes. An excellent venue both for a special occasion and for a dinner with friends.

08/08/2024: Extremely informal environment, very noisy. Good quality, spartan and careless service. Excellent appetizers and desserts.

23/08/2024: Good pub ~ pizzeria, with a decent assortment of starters and (thin) pizzas. Possible to order burgers and first courses. Discreet service. There is also seating outside, weather permitting. Parking is difficult, but there are some hourly car parks in the area.

12/08/2024: Risto pub that I frequented with friends many years ago and that I still frequent occasionally when I want a welcoming place and a pizza and beer at a good and average price. Good nachos with melted cheese and spicy sauce.

29/07/2024: Wer sein Quartier im Westen Roms hat, sollte dieses Restaurant auf seinem Zettel haben. Vorausgesetzt, man mag es römisch lebhaft. Eine klassische Stadtviertelkneipe, in dem sich die Anwohner treffen, um lautstark an im Lokal verteilten Fernsehern das Leben zu feiern. Die Angebote auf der Speisekarte sind fix und haben für jeden Geschmack das Passende. Keine Sterneküche, aber eine grundehrliche Küche, an der wir seit Jahren nichts auszusetzen haben Der Laden hat genau das Flair, das uns zu seinen Stammgästen gemacht hat. Aufmerksame, auch zu den rummeligsten Zeiten stets freundliche Bedienung. Auch wenn wir mal ein Jahr abwesend waren, werden wir sofort erkannt und mit römischer Herzlichkeit begrüßt. Wir haben von 1973 bis 78 in Rom gewohnt. Die Stadt hat uns seitdem nie losgelassen. Das Zaza hat daran, so merkwürdig es klingen mag, seinen Anteil.

15/07/2024: We had our last meal at La Locanda after 5 days at Isola Sacra and couldn’t have been happier. Location is very close, the staff were friendly and had no issues booking a reservation for 10 online. The food was amazing!! Came out very quickly and hot. Prices for meals and drinks were very reasonable. Would highly recommend
