26/06/2025: One of the best Roman pizzas in San Lorenzo, without a doubt. L’Economica is the classic place that focuses on what matters: the pizza. Thin, crispy to perfection, light and with fresh ingredients that really make the difference. All at more than fair prices – it’s hard to find better in Rome. A tip? Arrive early. You can’t book and it fills up quickly, so if you want to avoid the wait you should arrive early. Otherwise, arm yourself with patience… but know that it’s worth it. Don’t expect a “classic” restaurant: here you eat outside, at tables set up along the sidewalk. No pretensions, just good pizza and fast service. It’s perfect for an easy dinner, especially if you’re in the area or you fancy something good without spending a fortune. L’Economica has become a point of reference for those looking for real Roman pizza done properly. If you’ve never been there, fix that as soon as possible.

23/06/2025: The name is honest, probably the cheapest pizzeria in Rome. Tasted pizza supplì and pumpkin flower, the quality leaves much to be desired, only the pumpkin flower is sufficient. Recommended only for guys with iron stomachs who want to spend a night out spending little.

06/07/2025: Stopped at Felice a Testaccio as soon as we arrived in Rome and it was the perfect start. The cacio e pepe was incredible, they mix it at your table and it’s everything you want it to be. The ravioli was fresh, light, and full of flavour. Proper Roman food, done right.

05/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience at Felice a Testaccio didn’t live up to the hype. The service was rushed and inattentive. The atmosphere was underwhelming and lacked the charm we were hoping for. We came for the famous Cacio e Pepe, but found it quite bland and far from the best we’ve had, especially considering the reputation. Overall, both the food and the vibe felt overhyped. There are far better and more welcoming places to enjoy Roman pasta in the city.

21/06/2025: The pizza is really good, as is the beer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a shame that the owner added an extra item to the bill, we took one dish and he charged us two. We noticed it after we left. I recommend you check the bill before paying. I don't think I'll go back because I just can't stand dishonesty.

12/06/2025: A declaration of love… Since I’ve lived in Italy (now 14 years) I’ve tasted so many, so many. But then you get here, to La Gatta Mangiona, and you realize that everything you thought you knew about pizza needs to be rewritten. This isn’t just the best pizza I’ve ever eaten… it’s an emotion. An explosion of flavors that overwhelms you from the first bite, a dough so good that you want to eat it alone, a perfect balance between tradition and creativity. Each variation is a discovery, a pleasure that almost moves you. You find yourself closing your eyes while you eat, because the taste speaks directly to your heart. And then there are the supplì: crunchy, fragrant, rich. They’re not an appetizer, they’re a treat. Thanks to whoever created this place. You can feel that there’s love in every detail, in every choice. For me, La Gatta Mangiona has become a place of the soul. And every time I come back, it’s like coming home.

07/07/2025: They brought barely cooked pasta, after I tried it I immediately returned it. What's most surprising is that they didn't offer to make a new one and included it in the bill. This is the first time I've encountered this!!!

22/06/2025: Excellent quality of dishes. A ‘must’ their pizza amatriciana but any choice is right. Great professionalism of the staff always ready to understand the requests of the customers. Highly recommended.

28/06/2025: Nice place, friendly staff, good food. Possibility of take-away pizza And the pizza is good. Rating 4 stars deserved in all departments. Edit: we went to eat again on 06/26/25 Totally changed. Really awful fried food, limp and their batter full of oil. Inedible supplì. Pizza: from how good it was to how inedible it became is a crazy thing. Inedible tomato and bad mozzarella. I don't know if we will return with my family, I hope that if I return I can update my rating again.

10/07/2025: We were staying nearby and had arranged to meet someone for a chat over a beer/prosecco. We sat down there randomly because we didn’t feel like searching too much — it just felt convenient at the time. After our talk, we were quite hungry and, noticing the place had good reviews, we decided to give it a try. I ordered the seafood risotto, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. It had a bit of unexpected spiciness — but I really enjoyed that kick! However, many of the mussels were closed 😅. My boyfriend asked one of the waiters how we could open them. The waiter didn’t seem too sure — maybe he didn’t fully understand us — and although he looked like he was heading inside to ask someone, he never came back with an answer, even though we kept glancing his way now and then. That said, I didn’t really mind — the risotto was just too good to complain. One thing to note is that there were a few small bits of broken shell in the dish, which could be risky for your teeth or if swallowed. I tend to be very careful when eating seafood, so it wasn’t a problem for me, but it’s worth mentioning. My boyfriend ordered the lasagna and liked it too, although he didn’t seem quite as thrilled as I was with my dish 😄. One small downside: since the restaurant is near the train station, there were a few people approaching tables trying to sell things. A bit annoying, but of course, that’s not the restaurant’s fault. Other than that, the bruschetta was tasty, and the rest of the staff were kind and polite. All in all, a good spot for a casual and satisfying Italian meal.

06/05/2025: ci siamo stati recentemente io e il mio compagno per cena.. locale accogliente, semplice e carino.. la mamma cucina bene e il figlio che ci ha servito i piatti è simpatico e gentile.. ci ha aperto la porta all’ingresso e ci ha regalato due ciambelline dolci fritte molto buone!! grazie mille.. lo raccomandiamo

25/04/2025: Temi è il classico ristorante che consiglieresti a tutti , ti lascia tanta voglia di tornare . Abbiamo mangiato del pesce freschissimo e molto buono iniziando dagli antipasti.

16/06/2025: I wanted to take pictures but everything was so good that I didn't have time. From the delicious welcome focaccia to the pasta (amatriciana) in the pot. The wine and the service, staff and location; there is nothing out of place everything is perfect. The interior of the place is really nice and well air conditioned.

10/06/2025: Have no idea why this restaurant has only 4.2 - deserves 5.0! Filetto del moro was incredible. Best wishes to Ali who recommended this one from the menu and for very nice chat ( świetnie mówi po polsku) Top notch 🙂
