29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

23/07/2025: Amazing lunch experience under the vines. Meals and wine were superb, service was first class and atmosphere was next level fabulous. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

01/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on July 24th to celebrate my father's birthday... we had a wonderful time, both with the quality and quantity of the food, as well as the service... the staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. It's also worth noting that when we booked, the owner let us choose the location we liked best, in the large garden! Overall, it was a pleasant discovery... highly recommended!!

13/07/2025: Truly excellent! We had lunch with friends and chose the seafood option, with delicious appetizers and first courses! The service was also very good.

You can tell when you enter this restaurant: attention to detail pairs with a sense of hospitality that only the south of Italy can offer. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, with Ciro and Alessandra, two hens who are constantly watching over you. It feels like being at home. The quality is second to none, with top-quality ingredients. On weekends, Ciro sings along, delighting the crowd with Neapolitan songs that showcase his attachment to his homeland and traditions. What more can I say?

24/08/2025: The pizza was very good and the staff were very friendly. The only negative thing was the bad taste and that by booking through De Fork you are entitled to a 20% discount, but to recover the price of a digestive it skyrocketed to 6 euros.

20/08/2025: This isn't a good time for an à la carte dinner, as the menu is limited due to renovations to some areas of the restaurant, and appetizers cost more than the main course. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is also very chaotic, due to the aperitif buffet format, which crowds a lot of people into the adjacent room.

19/08/2025: Average food for an all-you-can-eat buffet is €15. Good for students and anyone looking to spend less and pass the time...

13/07/2025: Very poor pizza, sorry, maybe we got the wrong one, it makes up for it with the F1 Ferrari atmosphere, I think it's worth visiting this place and maybe you'll be able to find a better quality pizza

12/07/2025: Two pizzas and water for 17 euros are prices rarely seen in Rome, especially in the tourist areas. Pizza with a very thin, crispy crust. It's worth venturing off the beaten path sometimes :)

21/07/2025: Casa Novecento captivates with its elegant ambiance with 1920s accents and its refined Italian cuisine, especially its exceptional homemade pasta. The only downside is the space between tables is a bit tight, but this doesn't detract from the charm of the place or the quality of the service, which is attentive and professional. A good and reliable place for a successful evening in Rome. I highly recommend it for tourists visiting Rome.😀

18/07/2025: Un gioiello all’Eur Pranzo spesso in questo ristorante e ogni volta è una conferma. La cucina è eccellente: oggi ho assaggiato delle polpette di pesce semplicemente squisite. Lo chef propone ogni settimana piatti fuori menù sempre diversi e sorprendenti, segno di grande creatività e qualità. Il servizio è impeccabile, perfetto anche grazie alle mille attenzioni di Stefano. L’ambiente è elegante, confortevole e silenzioso, perfetto sia per una pausa pranzo che per un pasto più rilassato. Il tutto a prezzi assolutamente contenuti. Per me è il locale ideale, e lo consiglio vivamente.

02/08/2025: My son on July 18th went for lunch and had spaghetti alla carbonara pasta. A few hours later he got very sick and now he is still recovering from food intoxication. No more to say. Update after your comment below. It is very sad that you even question if he got problems because of the lunch. It is all he had. This morning he will need to go to the hospital because still having cramps and diarrhea. He got salmonella for sure. Take your responsibility and apologize, don’t try to divert, this is just unacceptable. . AUGUST 1ST UPDATE. My son had to go twice to the emergency room (July 20th and July 22nd). He was diagnosed with SALMONELLA, and had to be put on antibiotics to resolve the situation. He lost 5 kg in 5 days, and this totally ruined our vacation. Just shocking. Nothing else to add.

18/08/2025: Great experience at this place... On Sundays, I find this restaurant near my house... the fried baby octopus and spaghetti with clams are excellent... all enriched by an excellent wine... Normal prices, quiet atmosphere and punctual service... I will be back

29/07/2025: Let me start by saying: the supplì and pizza were very good, but the service was terrible. We arrived at 7:40 PM, the pizzeria was empty, with only one table with three people before us. The supplì were served at 8 PM, and the pizzas were delivered at 8:30 PM after a prompt... unacceptable. Modest prices

29/07/2025: One of the worst restaurants I have ever been. There was nothing good. At first we was waiting for meal more than 90 minutes. It is crazy but it is true. Than after that time waiter came and say Sorry they don't have some kind of pizza, but we didn't order any pizza. After more 10 minutes was our food ready and it was completed disaster. Amatriciana was like almost ok, but Carbonara.. no way.. I am not Italian but I know how the carbonara should taste and it is not like ash and sadness. The meat and potatoes.. the meat was so dry that it take moisture from the air. Also waiteress was nice but so tired or smth she even don't remember who ask for bill one minute age.. i highly don't recommend this restaurant.

11/08/2025: A tennis tournament where the public is practically unable to attend is embarrassing. The tennis court conditions are disastrous.
