The offer of hot bread on which to spread Mr. Andrea's nduja was much appreciated Prices more than fair for a capital city

Managed with passion by Miles and Francesco, two young twins, this restaurant offers an extraordinary gastronomic experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a touch of tradition that can be felt in every detail. The cuisine is simply exceptional: the freshest ingredients, authentic flavors and dishes prepared with love. From the fragrant and soft pizza, with the perfect crust, to the tasty first courses, every bite is a journey into the flavors of true Neapolitan cuisine. The "tamburelli" are excellent, pieces with various fillings (try the one with beef and potatoes!!) covered in pizza dough. The service is impeccable, the guys are kind, smiling and ready to make every customer feel at home. A place that transmits passion, tradition and innovation, perfect for a special dinner or a lunch of good food. A very pleasant discovery!! Highly recommended, also for the excellent quality/price ratio! We will definitely be back.

08/03/2025: An incredible family restaurant. Our favorite on our visit to Rome. We had to eat late since we did not have a reservation, but it was worth it. So good.

09/03/2025: 03/08/2025. From reading the reviews I expected more, I was disappointed. Too many gross and intolerable blunders even in a home-style kitchen! RICOTTA AND SPINACH RAVIOLI WITH BUTTER AND SAGE (€12.00): not normal ravioli as they once prepared with time and dedication.... but 4 huge squares, all dough and little filling. Moreover, in a "brodetto" of water and butter because they are not drained well. GRILLED BEEF FILLET (€20.00): nothing special, neither in terms of meat nor in terms of cooking. 2 ROMAN-STYLE ARTICHOKES (€8.00): in the heart of the artichokes the hair, called the beard, with a bitter taste, has not been removed. MIMOSA CAKE (€6.00): a little pretentious to call it "mimosa" as it had nothing of this dessert. Dry sponge cake without liqueur, not soft custard, but I suppose mascarpone (the same used for the tortemisu?), on top of dark pieces of sponge cake without any flavour. For two people we spent €85.00 but, on reflection, there are many other excellent places in Sabina, where the cost is more or less the same but the food is infinitely better!

18/02/2025: Quality homemade food. Friendly and welcoming staff. You feel at home. Also be prepared on gluten-free and contamination. The room with the fireplace is gorgeous!

24/02/2025: Very kind staff, unfortunately small, noisy place and menu with gourmet claims but very poor quality food. The worst amberjack I've ever eaten. High prices. After the owner's response I even have to lower my rating. The plates came back clean because we usually come to a restaurant with the hope of eating and the scarcity of portions combined with our education meant that we didn't leave any leftovers. The only thing that was saved from the evening was the education of the dining room staff, certainly poor cuisine cannot be solved by arguing with the chef.

It's all delicious, the vegan supplì are truly incredible, but having returned several times I can also vouch for the carbonara, millefeuille and all the vegan pizzas - plus the staff is very kind, Stefania is a wonderful person and it's always a pleasure to come back to see you ❤️ highly recommended!

29/12/2024: I chose this place to celebrate my graduation and was immediately enchanted by it. The location in question has an incredible view, the swimming pool is open all year round, and is an integral part of Villa Mercede, a jewel at the entrance to Frascati, one of my favorite areas of the Castelli Romani. The professionalism of the maître Nicola makes "La cucina con vista" a restaurant of great prominence; he assisted me at all times, making sure my guests were comfortable and enjoying the event, it was as if he was watching over us. All the staff are extremely kind and friendly, in line with the elegance of the venue. The refined and tasty food was the confirmation of having chosen the right restaurant and which I would recommend a million times to everyone, not only to celebrate events but also to spend a quiet evening enjoying a splendid view. Congratulations again to all the staff, well deserved. Keep it up! ❤️

16/02/2025: The best meal of your life. Exquisite dishes to say the least. Historic menu since 1895, attention to the territory and the environment, very high quality ingredients. Wonderful place and attentive and welcoming staff. They pampered us from start to finish, advising us in the best possible way. Feeling at home and eating like in a starred restaurant is priceless. We are not from the area but if we were to return, a jump to the summit will not detract from anyone. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience

17/03/2025: Food was piping hot. With vegetables like funghi, asparagus and artichokes being very fresh. Tonnarelli was freshly made and so good with their pomodoro and funghi sauces. Highly recommend. When you see mostly locals eating here. You know you are in the right place.

The cacio e pepe and fiori di zucca were outstanding, and the homemade bread, both plain and with cheese, was a delightful treat. The cacio e pepe and fuiore di zucca are exquisite, and the homemade bread, whether plain or stuffed with hot cheese, is so luxurious you can eat it voraciously. My favorite place downtown, I highly recommend it Cucina romana eccezionale accompagnata da un'ospitalità calorosa da parte di Simona. The coffee and the pepe and the fiori of the zucca erano fantastici, and the fattening pan in the house, which is similar to the format, is located in the real world. What is the location of the preferred post at the center? Altamente consigliato!

08/02/2025: We went to this restaurant today where the hospitality and goodness of the food welcomed us like family. We were in a bit of a hurry and the owner, the fourth generation of restaurateurs, had us eating in a very short time, excellent quality homemade pasta, excellent porcini mushrooms too, my friend had a very tender and delicious steak. We understood that in Torrice this restaurant is a point of reference for the authenticity of the products and for the hospitality. We will definitely be back.

21/03/2025: a beautiful restaurant just off the main colosseum road. we sat outside- there was fires to keep us warm and looking at the colosseum in the dark was lovely. our waiter Daniel was very kind, the service was lovely and the food was amazing. considering its location, the price was okay!!
