18/03/2025: Very intimate restaurant in the heart of Tivoli, we were convinced by the very positive reviews and it actually went very well. Lots of customer care, refined and well presented dishes. If I were to end up in these parts again I would gladly try their tasting proposal. I don't give 5 stars only because the fillet was perhaps slightly ahead of cooking (still good), the rest was excellent.
28/02/2025: Avec 55 in my opinion is the best restaurant in Tivoli. Seasonal raw materials of the highest quality, perfect cooking combined with chef Raoul's creations give the palate unique culinary experiences. Soft environment, courtesy and customer care complete the work. Highly recommended!!!

30/03/2025: A visit to a two-star Michelin restaurant is always a special experience - and this restaurant exceeded all expectations. From the first greeting to the last bite, every moment was characterized by perfection and sophistication.
Ambiance & Service The stylish, minimalist design with subdued lighting and elegant table arrangements creates an exclusive atmosphere. The service was impeccable: attentive but unobtrusive, with in-depth knowledge of each dish and the perfect wine pairing.
Culinary Experience The tasting menu was a true journey for the senses. Each course was artfully prepared and tastefully worked out down to the last detail. Particularly noteworthy are the perfectly cooked lobster with saffron foam and the melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu slice with black truffle. The desserts were a harmonious composition of sweetness, acidity and textures – a real treat.
Wine pairing The sommelier recommendations were excellent and perfectly underlined the flavors of the dishes. The elegant Burgundy and the complex dessert wine in particular rounded off the menu.
Conclusion An unforgettable culinary experience at the highest level. The combination of exquisite cuisine, first-class service and elegant ambience makes this restaurant a top address for gourmets. Unreservedly recommended!

17/01/2025: We were guests of a friend residing in Tarquinia, let's say I expected much much more, decent but not excellent food in my opinion, personally I took a mixed starter, a risotto with marinara in white, this was really disappointing, I didn't like it I was expecting a pre-cooked parboleid rice, the mixed fried fish was very good, crunchy and light, my bill was average like all the restaurants that charge 18 euros for a plate of spaghetti with clams, the service was impeccable, attentive, fast and courteous
I would come back to try something else, my choice may not have been the best

Compliments to chef Lorenzo Marchesani, sommelier Simone Marchesani and the girl in the dining room, as well as to the fantastic hosts Bruno and Isabella Marchesani.

02/03/2025: The Velando Restaurant, located in the heart of Rome, offers a unique culinary experience that blends the Lombard tradition with the Roman one. The intimate and welcoming environment, with a few well-spaced tables, guarantees an ideal atmosphere for both business lunches and romantic dinners.
The menu is rich and varied, offering dishes such as casoncelli, a typical Lombard stuffed pasta served with butter, parmesan and sage, and Barolo braised meat with buckwheat polenta, which represents one of the house specialities.
The smoked herring with polenta is also excellent.
The quality of the cuisine and the attention to detail are excellent, with a particular mention for the hospitality of the staff.
Absolutely recommended!!

21/03/2025: a beautiful restaurant just off the main colosseum road. we sat outside- there was fires to keep us warm and looking at the colosseum in the dark was lovely. our waiter Daniel was very kind, the service was lovely and the food was amazing. considering its location, the price was okay!!

08/04/2025: Restaurant selected during a guided tour of the nearby Palazzo Farnese. We had lunch on the panoramic veranda, welcomed with great cordiality and kindness. The food, well presented and served with grace, satisfied the most demanding expectations: the house starter, plentiful and of excellent quality, the tortelli filled with cheese and pepper and the lamb chops with seared fingers provided an excellent menu. Good quality/price ratio.

28/03/2025: Yes, I would recommend eating here. One of the top meals I had while in Rome. Had the Buffalo Mozzarella with Parma Ham and loved it while the Tomatoe Soup really was nice on a cold/rainy day.
27/03/2025: A very authentic restaurant. We ordered the truffle carbonara and the pistachio caccio e peppe, and they were spectacular. The service was top-notch, and our waiter, Simone, was very attentive and helpful. 100% recommended.
