12/10/2025: Always the best Greek restaurant in Bologna. Fast, courteous, and punctual service despite the large crowds that fill the restaurant both at lunch and dinner. Prices are more than reasonable for the consistently generous dishes (I spent €27 per person, eating a truly substantial meal).
Recommended dishes: cheese, artichoke, and fava bean balls.

24/11/2025: The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner and the girls were incredibly kind. I come to Bologna often, and this was my first time at Nuova Fraschetta. I had the best gramigna with ragù ever.
I can't wait to return.
22/11/2025: We visited Bologna in October 2025 and stayed at a great Airbnb just one block from the train station. Within a four block semi circle from that location were some terrific restaurants, not touristy, local, and walkable. La Nuova Fraschetta was one of our favorites and we returned there for another dinner. The bruschetta was perfect, the ragu one of the best, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place.

04/12/2025: This rustic restaurant in the center of Bologna offers excellent value. If you're passing through on a Sunday lunchtime, as it's between Porta Saragozza and the city center, it's a great option if you're arriving from the parking lot beyond the gate. You can often find a table even without a reservation, as it's not right in the city center. The menu is extensive and the service is fairly quick. The portions are generous and the prices are more than fair considering the location close to the city center.
03/12/2025: I've been going here for 20 years and have always had a good experience. The prices are average, the fish is good, but the lunchtime food is also good, with different dishes every day. The pizza, served as a sandwich, is always excellent.

15/10/2025: Off main streets, and a feel of relaxed local ambience and local Italian service. Roasted coniglia (rabbit) was absolutely perfect (a special- maybe not always available). Would be very hard to be displeased with our more classic dishes of lasagne, tagliatelle ragau, stuffed oven cooked zucchini flower, tenerina chocolate with mascarpone. Much more extensive local Italian menu available. Good spectrum of Italian wines and some craft beer.

Attentive service; Elisa does a great job managing and coordinating.
Tasty, refined dishes, portions a little on the small side.
Good pizza, thin, fragrant, and well-seasoned; perhaps a little less semolina.
Overall, a great restaurant, with a few details that, in my opinion, could be improved.

I personally think their pizza is some of the best I've ever eaten. A truly great place.

For that price, we started with tigelle and one slice of cold cuts each (mortadella, prosciutto... salami, one slice?), and tasteless fried polenta. Two first courses, one decent, but the tagliatelle were inedible. Dessert was decent, along with coffee and a bottle of wine for every four people. Our friends ordered two more bottles of wine, bringing the total to €50 each. Prices were out of line for the quality of what I ate. We sat down at 9:00 PM and were out by 10:40 PM. Service was more than quick...

12/10/2025: A pleasant surprise. Everything was incredibly perfect, from arrival to departure.
We ate at the restaurant where the dishes truly epitomized the beauty of Tuscany, with original, high-quality flavors.
Every minute was a small pleasure.
The rooms are super clean, organized, and smell great. The bathrooms are also super clean.
A great place for an event, a romantic weekend (or even a whole week).
Silvio is a wonderful host; let him guide you through the local wines and dishes; you won't regret it :)
