Ristorante Avorio In Bologna

For a hotel right across from the train station, this hotel was fantastic! Large room, very quiet. No road noise at all. And since we were doing day trips by train, it was perfect! And of course it was convenient for walking to the main square and shopping.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family. By far one of the best. Our family room was spacious, clean and beyond comfortable. My son enjoyed having his own bed while my little one had enough space for roaming around. I have stayed at the other three hotels in the vicinity. By far, the best. Hats off to the wonderful staff.

Andrea on reception is a credit to this hotel. He kindly upgraded my room when he noticed it has been my birthday the day before I arrived and was generally very pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect if you are arriving by train. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel.

Excellent location directly across of the train station. Perfectly ideal for our 1 night stay. Convenient to walk around, and hotel is surrounded by cafes and mortadella shops

The room is large and has everything you need, it was clean with a few minor details like shower with some limescale and stained or damaged furniture. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is good, with basic and standard fare for a buffet (eggs, sausages, ham, fruit, sweet and savory bread, coffee, and juice).

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Bologna and I feel at home. Everything is excellent, but what really makes the difference is the extreme kindness of all the staff. From Andrea to Giulia, Michelle...I could name them all because truly, the entire staff, in every role, deserves a special mention.

We stayed at the Starhotels Excelsior for Cosmoprof, and the experience definitely lived up to our expectations. The hotel stands out for its elegant interiors, meticulously maintained rooms, and attentive yet discreet service, qualities that make our stay particularly pleasant. The evening spent at the bar was equally enjoyable, thanks to a relaxed atmosphere and extremely courteous staff. We would like to extend a special thank you to Arnoldo, whose professionalism and kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. A place we will certainly keep in mind for future stays.

An excellent choice, the rooms are very spacious and clean, with daily housekeeping. Double-glazed windows prevent street noise from getting in the way. As for the shortcomings, I suggest improving the quality of the scrambled eggs for breakfast. Overall, I recommend it.
