13/04/2026: In Imola, the beacon of excellence is San Domenico, but I, frankly, prefer Le Callegherie. It's an osteria in name only; it's an excellent restaurant with a top-notch chef. Its menu features superbly crafted meat and seafood dishes, which, combined with a remarkable wine cellar, rival the aforementioned Imola's excellent restaurants. The location is beautiful yet understated, but reservations are recommended due to limited seating. Worth a visit for an important evening, or simply when you want to indulge in a gastronomic treat.

09/07/2026: We had a mixed experience at Zenzero. It took the staff quite a long time to notice us after we were seated, and when they did approach us they weren't too friendly. However, the food was great, delicious seasonal vegetarian dishes that were both hearty and light. If you're looking for an interesting plant-based option out of the old city centre, it's worth a try.

23/07/2026: This is not your regular seafood restaurant! The menu gets updated every day and they offer some absolutely mind blowing dishes. We enjoyed all fresh tuna dishes, oysters, grilled squid, steamed mussels(we had three servings), shrimps and the wine, of course. I didn’t expect Italian cuisine can also be this. We were truly amazed by the service and kind, caring staff here. Phenomenal experience!

20/07/2026: If you do not care about the place and care about tasty seafood , this is a local place readonable priced where regular people eat . First time in life are raw shrimp ; hopefully I will be okay . Lots of different raw fish dishes . I liked grilled Jumbo red shrimp with very nice salad . We ended our dinner with cannoli .

19/07/2026: Last lunch in Bologna, where restaurant prices are wildly unpredictable. Here, no surprises: pizzas sold by weight and cheap (4 slices for €16!) in a friendly atmosphere! Thanks

12/07/2026: Light, airy, crunchy pillows of expertly treated carbs. The topping variety changes throughout the day, and that’s a massive plus—it just means they are consistently cranking out fresh, incredibly delicious offerings. We loved every single thing we tried. Bonus points for the high-quality olive oil sitting on the table; I found a bottle and drizzled it right on my slice because I like my pizza well lubed up. Absolutely top-tier pizza. It’s done by weight so point at what you want and let them know how big. They will heat it up and cut it down to bite size morsels for your nibbling enjoyment.

13/06/2026: Gem of a spot. Hidden down an alleyway, barely visible till you are close enough and very worth it. We were a big group and they were very accommodating for not having a reservation (unlike Trattoria da Me). Got to try a bunch of dishes family style and even some off menu. Standouts were the tortellini in broth, the lasagna, caprese salad and Petroniana style cutlet. Nice little wine selection with after dinner drink options as well. Great find.

02/06/2026: Nice little place. Although crowded, at least at the time we visited, the service was nice, and the food portion pretty large.

06/07/2026: We were disappointed with the pizza dough; it was stiff, hard to cut, unpleasant to eat, and lacked flavor. The toppings were good, but we were very disappointed with the rest. A shame.

03/08/2026: Disappointing experience. We were a group of five, and when ordering, I asked for spaghetti with clams. The waiter replied that my choice would "put him in difficulty" because the other table had ordered risotto, tagliatelle, and pasta with tomato sauce, so the dishes were cooked differently. In effect, I was asked to change my dish, and I found myself ordering an appetizer instead of what I actually wanted. Personally, I didn't find this to be professionally motivated: in a restaurant, I expect to be able to choose from the menu without having to change my order to accommodate the kitchen. It's a shame, because this episode ruined the experience.

16/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant in the heart of Bologna with all the Italian specialties. The service is quick and the food is excellent, especially the pasta Bolognese. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were even treated to a complimentary glass of Limoncello at the end.

04/08/2026: Went there two years ago but I wanted to have the location saved on my phone. Best pizza ever and didn’t seem very touristy. Definitely authentic.

13/05/2026: Excellent and plentiful food! The first courses were truly excellent; I recommend the wild boar ragu. (It's a shame the tigelle and gnocco fritto contain milk, and I unfortunately didn't get to try them, but my companions were very satisfied.) The staff were helpful and friendly!!

12/04/2026: I found the place very welcoming and well-maintained. The location is strategic and undoubtedly a great place for a Sunday lunch or just a casual meal. The tigelle and crescentine were delicious. We shared an appetizer with excellent cold cuts, then moved on to the first courses. Both the tagliatelle with ragù and the green tagliatelle with mushrooms were exquisite. The portions were generous and well-made. For the second courses, we chose the beef tagliata and the pork fillet with mushrooms. It's a shame that the beef fillet we had chosen was unfortunately unavailable. The second courses were inviting and tasty, and we chose to accompany them with grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, and froggione. Everything was delicious, and the portions were so generous that we couldn't finish them all. The wines were excellent for the courses we chose. The service was friendly and pleasant. Very quick and helpful. Recommended.

18/07/2026: I visited this restaurant with my family and immediately felt at home. I'll start by saying that I don't eat fish, but I wanted to take my wife to eat there for her birthday. The result far exceeded all expectations. My meat appetizer was perfect, followed by a really good tagliolini with bacon, and for our daughter, an orecchiette with cherry tomatoes. My wife was thrilled with the mussels and clams, followed by the linguine with mussels Taranto-style. The desserts were all delicious: pistachio semifreddo accompanied by a candle (a very thoughtful touch), a chocolate tenerina with mascarpone, and a mind-blowing green apple sorbet. Finally, they brought us some homemade cookies accompanied by a liqueur. A highly recommended culinary experience, accompanied by the owners' unique hospitality. We'll definitely be back ❤️
