I am a vegetarian and I had a great time: high quality food, interesting and particular starter compared to the usual + spaghettone with pine nuts, cherry tomatoes, black olives and SPAZIALE crunchy breadcrumbs. I give the staff a 3 only because the girl didn't seem particularly enthusiastic about being at work, while the waiter was very very kind

The owner Nadia at the end of dinner even gave me a lift to the nearby hotel (thanks so much..). 10 and praise for everything. Highly recommended!!

22/05/2025: Restaurant specializing in meats, where "grill" is the key word. Although located a little out of the way, near the airport, it was a discovery. Very nice and well-kept environment, both outside and inside, without too many pretensions, but welcoming. Very kind staff. Small but concentrated menu, with many reinterpretations and super specialties that I had never found before; great variety of meats to choose from for the second courses. Superlative treatment of both raw and cooked meat. The tartare was out of this world, among the best I have ever eaten. The meat was delicious, super tasty and cooked just right (we had asked for it rare). Small negative note: service overall a little slow. The prices are not cheap, but all in all they correspond to the quality of what is offered. If you love meat and want to have a culinary experience that rewards taste and quality, regardless of your wallet, this is a place to try!

04/05/2025: Just outside the centre, above Via Murri, on the Bolognese hills, there is the Monte Donato restaurant with ancient flavours, simple and tasty food. The staff is friendly, very helpful, young, ready to joke, excellent service. We had dinner on the terrace, in a familiar environment, with old photos on the walls and tavern tables. To start, we were tempted by a radicchio salad with burns marinated in vinegar and squacquerone with squares of polenta, really delicious. As a second course, a revisited aubergine parmigiana and a grilled white sausage with patinas. The Pinot Noir was the touch we needed... Two coffees. Place with excellent view. Highly recommended.

There isn't even a tasting menu anymore.. I don't think we will return --- Really excellent, I recommend the tasting menu

11/05/2025: I have been to To Steki several times, a Greek restaurant in the heart of the university area of ​​Bologna. The place, the environment, the staff create a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, perhaps there are a few tables too many but I personally have never paid too much attention to that. The menu contains numerous classics of Greek cuisine, with appetizers, pita, meat, fish and desserts. Over time I have tried many of these dishes and generally I have always been happy with them: genuine, simple but tasty recipes. Dishes that focus on substance and that are appreciated even without having a particular presentation. I particularly like the appetizers and the dishes with gyros meat, but in general the entire menu can really be explored without fear. Attentive and kind staff, sometimes they can find themselves a little out of breath during busy times but nothing serious based on my experiences. Finally, I would like to point out the more than reasonable prices especially these days where it seems to me that everything in Bologna is becoming more expensive. A place definitely recommended!

11/05/2025: I went with my mother and my almost one year old son. I had booked at 12.30, stating that I had a stroller and a car seat to put on, or I could use theirs. They replied no problem. We arrived with the place almost empty, the owner (?!) looked at us perplexed asking if we could close the stroller, too bad the baby was inside and was sleeping. It seemed like he didn't want to find us a table but in the end he put us in a corner in front of a bathroom that was probably out of use. Surely to maximize the turnover they have a lot of tables very very close together. In the meantime the place filled up, when we finished I couldn't get out and they made me go through the kitchen facing a big step in front. Once we left we saw a lot of tables on the street next to the Dehor which were more spacious being outside... couldn't he have put us there?! I want to point out that the boy who served us was very kind. We remembered some dishes as better, in one of the puff pastries there was a sausage (but there was no mayonnaise to go with the French fries). Swordfish and stuffed eggplant good. Really uncomfortable accommodation, overall bad experience. Probably not suitable for families, a shame for a country increasingly for old people despite the rhetoric to the contrary.
