11/08/2025: Gorgeous place; we slept in the Geotenda. Fantastic experience; the kids had a blast. Clean shared bathrooms, a clean pool, and a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. If I had to find a flaw, the breakfast was a bit sparse (I'm reporting this more as a suggestion than a criticism). We'll be back!

21/07/2025: Magnífico restaurante de propiedad familiar con increíbles ofertas creadas por nosotros mismos (mortadela con acacia y miel, por ejemplo) y excelente Servicio. Como viajera en solitario, me cuidaron mucho y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Ordene un menú degustación y deléitese con la casa San Giovese.

13/07/2025: Este restaurante fue un éxito completo - simplemente excelente. IT es bastante popular, así que mejor reservar. Una vez dentro, será recibido por un personal amable y competente. Tanto la comida como el vino eran excelentes. Pasta, así como carne y dolce. Probablemente la mejor experiencia culinaria que tuvimos en Bolonia.

10/08/2025: Dinner in the garden was a great experience. The relaxed atmosphere was truly unique, and the dishes were delicious and meticulously prepared (some were plated better than others). I highly recommend both desserts in the photos, as well as the rigatoni neri, tuna roast beef, and tagliata!!! And the croissant with mortadella mousse, wow, almost Michelin-starred! The waiters are friendly and helpful, giving you your time for a relaxing, unhurried experience. The price is medium-high, but for the location and food/quality, it's reasonable. We had everything from appetizer to dessert and spent €158 total, including drinks. ONE NOTE: In such a beautiful garden, you should put a smoking ban. Those who want to relax, and especially those who want to focus on the flavors of the dishes, are disturbed if someone smokes at the next table. Electronic cigarettes are fine, but I would put a smoking ban both out of "respect" for the garden and for the experience of others. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

14/07/2025: Excellent pasta. We came from Argentina to try the authentic Bolognese sauce. Everything was delicious. The price and service were just right. The bad news for you is that my mom's sauce is much better, by far. Cheers!

23/08/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of Bologna. It's well-known among locals, but many tourists continue to frequent it once they've discovered it. This is undoubtedly due to the highly successful choice of offering unconventional dishes, where the chef's skill is combined with the choice of top-quality ingredients. I'd also like to point out the various vegetarian options; the names of the dishes often don't fully describe what's on your plate, so asking the friendly and courteous staff for advice helps you choose from the extensive menu. The atmosphere is modern, elegant, and well-kept. Although there's plenty of seating, I've always found it crowded, so reservations are recommended, even at lunchtime. Well done, keep it up!

The most disturbing detail was finding a worm in my pasta dish, which I only discovered towards the end of the meal. The appetizers were poorly prepared. The tiramisu was bland, and I couldn't end the evening on a sweet note. If you're looking for extra protein, here's the "pasta ai vermi." Would I recommend it? Absolutely not. 🇬🇧 English I'm a bit late writing this review, and I hope no one else has had the same experience in the meantime. The food was quite heavy. 26/08/2025: The setting is dated but ideal for the atmosphere, and the excellent menu combines both seafood and meat. Fried gnocco and cold cuts are the appetizers, along with crostini with porcini mushrooms and fried porcini mushrooms. Three glasses of wine by the glass were expertly recommended by the sweet and kind waitress. Highly recommended, thanks Mirca for the tip!

23/08/2025: The wait staff were very kind, both the waitress and the owner. The fried fish was delicious; there wasn't a drop of oil, so it was perfectly done. The portions were generous, so much so that the owner kindly let us know in advance when we ordered appetizers. Of course, good wine and food come at a price, so be aware! Recommended

02/08/2025: A great discovery in Bologna. We really enjoyed the food (both the tagliatelle and the meat and pizza, which we tried one of each), the location is spacious and very pleasant, the staff is friendly, the price is reasonable, and something very important: it closes very late, after midnight, making it the ideal option if you happen to arrive in Bologna late and need dinner. It's also very close to the train station. We'll definitely be back!

15/06/2025: Unfortunately I don't live near this restaurant, or maybe luckily because I could have squandered all my wages on typical delicacies of Romagna cuisine... asparagus larded with ham in cream cheese, roast rabbit and guinea fowl, various types of pasta, homemade, with vegetable or meat sauces, grilled meats and much more. Even a mashed potato flavored with parsley, oil and garlic to taste or an artichoke cut in vinaigrette is something you remember. All served with friendliness and kindness. Having tried this small and welcoming place twice, it has already induced addiction... alas!!

07/08/2025: A Bologna, di passaggio, abbiamo prenotato in questo locale che non conoscevo... Situato in alto, sui colli bolognesi, ambiente piacevole e accogliente, vintage.... Buon cibo della tradizionale cucina bolognese, buon servizio al tavolo, cortese e professionale. Da segnalare i primi piatti come le tagliatelle al ragù bolognese e i maccheroncini col guanciale. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo rosso Sangiovese, che ci ha accompagnato fino al dolce: un ottima crostata di fragole con la crema. Locale adatto a tutte le fasce d'età, famiglie comprese. I prezzi sono in linea col locale. Segnalo la difficoltà nel parcheggio: si parcheggia su ambo i lati della strada. Se si è sui colli bolognesi, questo locale merita una sosta.

06/08/2025: Passing through Bologna, particularly in the hills, we made a reservation at this place I wasn't familiar with... The atmosphere is simple yet refined, with furnishings that are both vintage and rustic, and very pleasant. The table service is good, friendly, and helpful. The dishes here are traditional Bolognese cuisine: tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù, maccheroncini, and the house specialty: crispy chicken with baked potatoes. Simple yet delicious. Everything is accompanied by an excellent Sangiovese throughout the meal, which easily carries through to dessert: a homemade tart with custard and strawberries, delicious... The prices are in line with the location, not excessive in my opinion... a place suitable for all age groups, including families. Parking can be difficult: you can park on both sides of the street. If you're in Bologna or the hills surrounding Bologna, this place is worth a visit.
