13/10/2025: Homemade and best scaloppine I have had in Italy. i don't know why so many negative reviews, the young lady was kind to receive us on 13/10 at 17 in the afternoon, when nobody else would accept us. We have had antipasti, scaloppina alla bolognese and some spritz, honestly it was very good. Maybe slightly more expensive than in other towns but overall a good experience and the bread wasn't too bad. The lady serving us was very kind and gentle and honest, for me it was a top experience and there is nothing but a good moment spent there.
They offer gluten free options, they also offer to make pasta for you as a side dish even if it wasn't on the menu, a great address with fresh ingredients.
13/10/2025: A must-visit if you are in Bologna. The ragu bolognese is wonderful and it was made with fresh gluten-free tagliatelle - we were astounded! We also ordered two starters - gnocco fritto and friggione - both also so flavourful and with incredible, homemade gluten-free bread! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the setting is very traditional and homey. Can't recommend enough.

17/10/2025: I stopped by chance because it's close to the hotel. Excellent vegetarian dishes, with simple but truly well-made ingredients (because vegetarian cooking doesn't require fancy ingredients, you just need to know how to cook legumes and vegetables well). I even found dessert! Highly recommended! 💚🌱

07/11/2025: It's like dining in a fairy garden; thanks to the large windows, you get the feeling of being outdoors. The food is excellent, with beautifully presented dishes and balanced ingredients. And they're all worth trying. Well done!

14/10/2025: We didn't try everything, obviously, but the fillets were fantastic and very tender, as were the very good side dishes.
The dessert was also good.
They don't have bulk wine, which increases the price, but 40-50 euros is becoming standard these days.
The atmosphere was lovely, and the management was very kind and friendly.
We were satisfied, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you.
12/10/2025: At this restaurant, I enjoyed an excellent, very tender fillet steak with "old-fashioned" fries, which were truly delicious. The charcuterie board with local piadinas and desserts were also very good. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was well-maintained, including bathrooms (which isn't a given for all restaurants). I'll definitely be returning to try the pasta dishes.

14/11/2025: A very unusual and noisy atmosphere, located inside the fish market. Very limited space due to tiny tables and uncomfortable metal chairs. Fast and efficient service. Good wine list; we ordered excellent Prosecco. The fish was excellent, very fresh; the sardine cutlets, prawns, and mixed fried fish were delicious. I couldn't bring myself to eat the peppered mussels because the mussels, while very tender, were dry and lacking in sauce. Very fair price.

09/12/2025: The service was inattentive; we had to ask for cutlery, which was brought one at a time, and always after we'd asked. The food was average. We enjoyed the tagliatelle with meat sauce.

11/10/2025: I walked in and found two Japanese tourists in line ahead of me. A blonde waitress was serving them, looking very busy. After a few minutes of waiting, an Italian woman came in behind me. When it was my turn, the waitress completely ignored me and spoke directly to the woman who had arrived after me. This was unacceptable and discriminatory behavior. I was furious, but only refrained from reacting because a friend of mine was waiting for me inside. I will never set foot in this place again.
11/10/2025: Il Tartufo Trattoria in Bologna is a place with potential, but unfortunately, in my case, it was a bit of a disappointment – the portion was surprisingly small for the €30 price tag. I was expecting a unique truffle experience, and the dish was served without the characteristic cheese-grating ritual seen in many videos of this place. Now, it looks like they're rolling out of the kitchen on the cheese and simply transferring it to the plate. The taste was good, but the overall experience left me a bit unsatisfied, especially considering the price and expectations. Maybe we hit a bad time, but I can't give it a full rating this time – it's a shame, because the potential is great. The dish itself is very good.

14/07/2025: Excellent pasta. We came from Argentina to try the authentic Bolognese sauce. Everything was delicious. The price and service were just right. The bad news for you is that my mom's sauce is much better, by far. Cheers!

We enjoyed the salad with valeriana and rocket which was big, the artichoke+mushroom salad that was so delicate and delicious, tagliatelle bolognese and lamb ribs, the red house wine and we had a treat of limoncello! We were delighted not only with such delicious meal but also woth the prices! Thank you so much! Keep up the good work!
17/11/2025: Bright welcoming restaurant. Our ragus (regular and hare) were good but a bit dry. My daughter’s pasta with shrimp was excellent. But great service, which I’m coming to realise is a hallmark of Bologna.

27/10/2025: Great pizza place. My Diavola (spicy sausage) pizza was delicious. My husband enjoyed his Napola (anchovy) pizza as well. My red house wine had an odd smell and taste; maybe my taste was off? The place was very busy so have a reservation or get there at an off hour. Many locals and a lively atmosphere.

28/11/2025: The meat was truly excellent! The service was impeccable, a very pleasant surprise.
27/11/2025: On a birthday trip we came to this place to have a proper steak... we couldn't ask for more. They really know their game here. We came a bit early and had to wait outside which was a bit of a cold start. However the lunch and service all made up for this. With 7 persons (please make a reservation as the place was jam-packed) we went for 3 different types of meat. Very very tasty. The staff is quick, friendly and also made sure we got a special treat as one of our guys was celebrating his birthday. Very nice gesture. We can highly recommend this place, especially if you fancy a good piece of meat. Thanks for the great lunch guys!

19/11/2025: Four of us went on Sunday and had a wonderful meal. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service professional, and the Bolognese dishes were truly prepared as they should be. Tortellini, cutlet, and desserts were all perfect, but the fish, in my opinion, was of the highest quality in the Bolognese region—excellent quality and true tradition. It's clear why it's a historic restaurant.
A highly recommended experience. We'll definitely be back.
