24/01/2026: At Osteria del Castellazzo, you eat as traditional cuisine should: without shortcuts.
The raw ingredients are evident, the dishes are meticulously crafted, and the flavors are distinct, undiluted. They don't pretend to be "gourmet" here; they simply work hard—and that's much more difficult.
The service is attentive but never intrusive, and the atmosphere is warm and authentic, the kind where you truly relax.
Every dish arrives with a precise meaning: just the right portions, balanced, and no gimmicks.
It's one of those places that doesn't need to impress, because it convinces.
If you're looking for authentic cuisine, done right, this is the place.
17/01/2026: ABSOLUTE Cinema. I couldn't have eaten better. Incredible stuff, Savarin with tongue, donkey stew, coffee with a mocha pot, OOOOH. They were so fizzy, I don't understand why it was empty when I was there, but it's better this way -- the fewer people there are, the better, tbh -- after all, we know people have questionable taste. Incredible, I had a great time.

04/01/2026: A wonderful osteria on the canal, with attentive and friendly staff and excellent, plentiful food. Two generous first courses with exceptional ingredients, and we split two second courses that were a masterpiece. Sitting on the veranda overlooking the canal has a unique charm. Highly recommended.

28/12/2025: Fabulous and tasty food! We tried the erbazzone for a starter...excellent! And the green tortelli with gorgonzola cream...also delicious! The atmosphere and service were great!! Our compliments!
09/12/2025: The fried gnocco with cured meats is good, and the cappelletti are average quality, good but not exceptional. The portions are generous, and the hostess was very kind in her service. The only drawback is that the tables are really close together (waiters had to stand sideways to pass). The atmosphere is informal, and the prices are perhaps a little high, but given the location, that's acceptable.

25/09/2025: Very rude staff and service. I asked the waitress if I could take a portion of ham to go: she said yes. Then a man at the bar started shouting that if I wanted ham, I should go to a store. Why can’t they sell ham for the price of a sandwich instead of treating customers this way?
23/09/2025: Ideally located near the Duomo! We enjoyed our snack! The prices are reasonable and the sandwiches are very good and high-quality!

02/02/2026: A pleasant restaurant in the center of Parma.
Both the Italian and Eritrean cuisine are delicious! All the ingredients are excellent. 😍 I'd recommend booking a table in advance and being patient when finding parking, but it's worth it! All the staff I interacted with were also friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back!
P.S. The lentils are AMAZING.
01/02/2026: The vegan Zighinì is excellent: colorful, flavorful, with a wide variety of flavors and textures, nutritious but not heavy. It's also a balanced dish. I was very happy to find this option, a plant-based reinterpretation of a traditional dish. Well done, it's not at all predictable! Shoutout to the owner (and/or chef, I don't know) who kindly asked me if I liked the dish; I could tell he really cared. :)

23/12/2025: Personally, an excellent restaurant. The risotto was slightly subpar, but the main course was spectacular.
The dessert tasted homemade, and the wine was excellent.
Impeccable service and extremely friendly staff.
The price was definitely low compared to what we received.

The selection of dishes and their presentation are exquisitely elegant, as well as exceptionally delicious. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff are clearly distinguished. A highly recommended place for all the reasons listed, and more you'll discover for yourself.
