We started on the wrong foot having to wait 30 minutes for our starters, starters that couldn’t have been easier to prepare (tortellini in brodo & steak tartar) The truth is timing was out and dishes were under par and terribly constructed. In my opinion, even taking into account location and overheads, this is an overpriced restaurant. Just look at the photos of our second course- and this is in the Michelin Guide!!🤷‍♂️ Would we return? No

08/10/2025: Comfort food on a high level. We had a wonderful evening at Battibecco. The food was really good (the antipasti could have been a little more spicy for my taste), the wine was great (recommended by the floor manager), the desert was a dream! So far, it's been the best dinner we've had in Bologna. (And we've had more expensive ones.)

17/06/2025: Un buon indirizzo dove fermarsi per una sosta rilassante. Situato in centro non è facilmente raggiungibile in auto ma una volta entrati mette subito il cliente a proprio agio. Servizio sufficientemente attento e proposta gastronomica incentrata sul pesce di mare e su piatti della tradizione emiliana. Cantina ben rifornita con ricarichi onesti.

The service is friendly, but could be a bit more attentive in places. Overall, a very successful visit that we can recommend.

07/10/2025: We should give 55 stars, not 5... fresh fish cooked excellently, without sauces, without parsley, the taste of fish, perfect service in all its aspects and the bill accordingly, yes because it is the only truly clean place we saw in the entire Rimini promenade, yes in short, the difference is not only seen in the price...

This restaurant delights in its quality food, where the gastronomic experience is enhanced by the flavors of the sea and the freshness and quality of the food. The service is excellent and very precise, and the staff is always available and ready to meet any need. Although elegant and delicious, the price and quality are very reasonable. 28/09/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant after reading the reviews, and unfortunately, I have to say we were overall disappointed. The pizza was undercooked and the waiters were barely presentable. Never again.

24/09/2025: I ordered two takeout platters and was told they couldn't be delivered because they were still rising (6:10 PM, a bit late for the platters to rise again). I was then handed two completely raw tongues, as the oven was most likely kept at a low temperature, especially the tops, given that the toppings were partially raw. I had ordered the tongues for 6:40 PM and they were delivered at 6:55 PM. The staff wasn't entirely helpful, but above all, they were annoyed and unwelcoming. A terrible experience.

18/10/2025: Nestled in the Emilian countryside, this place is expertly managed by the owners, who place more than just quality ingredients and technical expertise into their food; you can sense a strong philosophy of life. The walls are beautifully decorated with photos of distant travels, and overall, you feel at home.

10/07/2025: Great place, a bit out of the way, so reservations are recommended. Everything is 5 stars, plus 5 extra stars for the music selection.

16/10/2025: Amazing place for sea food and pasta. Whole family had the pasta parcels with ricotta cheese and shrimp as well as calamari. Was amazing from service, food, and place is big right by the water.

12/10/2025: Our waitress was simply amazing! She always had everything under control, made an effort to explain things in English and help everyone, was quick and very friendly. Since we were there during the off-season, I found it a bit chilly in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the pizzas aren't pizzas, but tarte flambées :-( So, anyone looking forward to a delicious Italian pizza will be disappointed, even if they taste good. In my opinion, they could have used a bit more seasoning, but that depends on your taste and the pizza you ordered. My partner had the Quattro formaggi and found the toppings to be sufficiently seasoned. The antipasti starter is a bit cheeky: a few slices of zucchini and two slices of eggplant. The "tarte flambée" with Nutella is perfectly fine for €6, but the mini tiramisu, also €6, is far too expensive.

18/09/2025: This restaurant will always be in my memory, especially the sardine and shrimp skewers we used to eat every summer when we visited Riccione. It's one of my fondest childhood vacation memories (everything starts in the stomach), and I can't wait to return the next time I'm there :)

14/09/2025: Lunch 14/9. The appetizer and sea bass were very good and plentiful. One portion, two of us ate. As soon as we sat down, we were offered anchovies and piadina. As soon as we finished, we were offered ciambella and digestives. What can I say... TOP! Perhaps the quieter month of September helps a lot. The location is a bit dated, but I like to think of it as charming and full of history. The sea view is SUPERB. We'll definitely be back.

10/09/2025: The passatelli with clams and zucchini is delicious. The Fassona beef tartare was also excellent. The prices are in line.

29/08/2025: This is one of my favorite restaurants in Reggio Emilia! I am always impressed by the unique flavor in every dish. It is fresh and local with a super friendly vibe.

05/10/2025: Every time we pass by, we always eat here. They have amazing homemade gluten-free tortellini. The lady is really good and always tells us to let them know in advance if we want to take the gluten-free tortellini home.

04/09/2025: The place is cute, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered two first courses (tagliatelle with mushrooms), a second course (striped beef in white wine), a bottle of water, and a Coke. We paid €25. Reasonable price and good food. Recommended.

06/10/2025: We had lamb chops and osso buco, each for €28. The osso buco had a maximum of 100 grams of meat, and it wasn't even tasty. It came with a bit of braised pumpkin. The two lamb chops were tough. They also came with a side of onion. This was by far the worst meal we had in our almost three weeks in Italy. Terrible value for money.

28/09/2025: We had a bad experience when we were asked to comment on a dish served to us, the owner responded to the criticism in a vulgar and offensive way, appearing unprofessional.

22/10/2025: We had lunch on a weekday with family. Eating outside in late October, overlooking the canal, is priceless. We had a great time and felt at ease. The food was good, especially the Adriatic fish. The local wine paired well with the menu. I'd also like to mention the staff's courtesy.
