Dinner when Ferrara is at its hottest and you enter a restaurant that is cool, a good start to a dinner. Ate a very good and pleasant dinner. Good ingredients and flavors. The wine was wonderful as was the Amaro. The service was impeccable, the staff unobtrusive but helpful. Will be happy to return. July 2023

Comida tradicional de Ferrara de calidad, muy sabrosa. Los Capellazi di Zucca magníficos. Trato amable con explicación de la carta en un buen castellano. Volveremos.

Abbiamo pranzato il giorno di Natale con un menu alla carta; buona presentazione dei piatti ma soprattutto ottime le pietanze. È da apprezzare la scelta dei vini locali.

Ci sarò stato almeno cinque volte e ho sempre mangiato benissimo, grande ricerca sulle carni sempre ottime come anche i primi e gli antipasti. Per il vino chiedi all'oste che ti consiglia.

A pochi passi dal centro di Ferrara e vicino ad un parcheggio si trova il Frantoio, osteria dai cibi ricercati in ambiente tranquillo ed elegante. La sala non é grande ed i tavoli sono abbastanza distanti. La presenza ridotta di posti consente poca confusione. I piatti sono buoni, il servizio rapido, il personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimo anche per una cena a due.

È il mio ristorante preferito a Ferrara , dove la concorrenza è notevole. Qui la qualità del cibo è ottima,I primi ( fantastici sia i cappellacci che le tagliatelle) , la qualità della carne ( guancia di manzo brasata difficile cucinarla meglio di così), che I dolci. Ottima carta dei vini e prezzi onesti. L'atmosfera è calda , informale e non sembra certo un osteria. Non riesco a trovare un difetto. Personale gentile e servizio veloce.A Milano per una cena così devi andare su ristoranti da stella Michelin.

17/03/2024: An enchanting place Three steps, a door and you enter the historical memory of a city as magical as it is ungrateful in remembering what were, for some of us continue to be, moments of authentic sharing. At the end of the nineties in this place which still gathers in rare atmospheres today, trying to resist local ingratitude, and moreover still succeeding well in this aim, in that period dinners were organized with authors, from Stefano Tassinari to Carlo Lucarelli, Massimo Carlotto. And many more names of culture. Exhibitions of young and old local artists were organised. We could smell the traditional flavors for us omnivores, no more menus that are now widespread everywhere. Cappellacci, tagliatelle, salami, pinzino and strictly red wine. To this day it remains the most beautiful venue in the city. To understand and love it you must have had the fortune of inhabiting it and experiencing it then. However, there is always an emotion to experience. The cuisine remains fairly faithful to what it was, the atmosphere of the place is identical. The rest is up to those who decide to enter so as not to be absolutely disappointed. On the contrary! Be faithful to our places and inhabit them with joy.
