I love this osteria, both for its location, just steps from the center and close to the Renaissance walls, and for its original menu, based on top-quality ingredients, expertly crafted by the talented chef. Excellent wine, selected and recommended by the owner, who boasts decades of experience and is always a pleasure to chat with.

Funny, I haven’t been to Ferrara in maybe five years and a friend there now just asked for a restaurant tip for tonight. Not only did I remember a nice lunch at this place, I remembered a beet pasta. That’s The best a place can do, keep a memory alive for years. It was just outright pleasant. Thank you!

A truly distinctive place, one that welcomes you from the door with an authentic atmosphere and attention to detail. We ate very well, dishes carefully prepared and served with a sincere simplicity that makes everything even more enjoyable. Special praise to the staff, always available, smiling, and professional. Lovely meal and service. We shared a pumpkin ravioli, the beef cheeks, salad, and greens with anchovies. Everything was excellent but the pumpkin ravioli was my favorite.
