01/07/2025: Excellent super typical piadinas at a good price!!! I would recommend putting fans outside because in the summer during peak hours the air stops completely and you die of heat. I admit that this is also due to the presence of a construction site in front that has cordoned off the area practically up to the entrance of the place so even less air circulates. That said, friendly and helpful staff, I recommend!

30/06/2025: Large, very tasty piadinas, the best in the area. Informal. Very fast and impeccable service, possibility of eating at the table (covered) and also take-away. Recommended the piadina with porchetta, super!

05/06/2025: We stopped at Verdi Ricordi almost by accident on the way to Modena—and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire trip. The food was incredible: fresh pasta, beautiful seafood, and perfectly balanced flavors in every dish. Everything felt homemade, thoughtful, and full of that rich Parma tradition. Right next to the restaurant is a small Parmigiano Reggiano shop and dairy, where you can buy cheese directly from the producers—really special and authentic. What made the whole experience even better was the fantastic service, especially from Mustapha, our waiter. He was warm, professional, incredibly attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. You could tell he really cared about the experience—he explained dishes, made suggestions, and made the whole meal flow so smoothly. He honestly made the difference between a good lunch and a great memory. We loved it so much that we came back again before the end of our trip—and it was just as good the second time. Verdi is now on our list of must-return stops anytime we’re in this part of Italy

05/06/2025: Nos detuvimos en Verdi Ricordi casi por accidente en el camino a Módena, y resultó ser uno de los puntos culminantes de todo nuestro viaje. La comida era increíble: pasta fresca, hermosos mariscos, y sabores perfectamente equilibrados en cada plato. Todo se sentía casero, considerado y lleno de esa rica tradición parma. Justo al lado del restaurante hay una pequeña tienda de Parmigiano Reggiano y lácteos, donde se puede comprar queso directamente de los productores, realmente especial y auténtico. Lo que hizo que toda la experiencia fuera aún mejor fue el fantástico servicio, especialmente de Mustapha, nuestro camarero. Él era cálido, profesional, increíblemente atento, y nos hizo sentir realmente bienvenidos. Se le notaba que realmente le importaba la experiencia: explicaba platos, hacía sugerencias e hacía que toda la comida fluyera sin problemas. Honestamente hizo la diferencia entre un buen almuerzo y un gran recuerdo. Nos encantó tanto que volvimos de nuevo antes del final de nuestro viaje, y fue igual de bueno la segunda vez. Verdi Ricordi está ahora en nuestra lista de paradas obligatorias - devolución cada vez que estamos en esta parte de Italia

11/05/2025: Large, very characteristic and pleasant environment. Impeccable equipment, excellent long self-service counter with raw and cooked vegetables and other appetizer and side dish preparations. Excellent pumpkin ragu tortelli with soft pasta, well filled and seasoned with delicious ragù. The other first courses were also very good. The second courses are of excellent quality and the desserts are particularly good, especially the bonet and the sour cherry and ricotta tart. Impeccable service, quick and ready to give advice or explain the dishes on offer. The only NEO is the small and old toilets. It is a good restaurant and I wholeheartedly recommend it. CRC

06/05/2025: Da anni, anzi decenni mancavo da questo bel ristorante di solida tradizione ed ho ritrovato le stesse sensazioni: un ambiente "invecchiato bene" ottimamente mantenuto, con tavoli ben distanziati, un'atmosfera gradevole ed un servizio professionale. Niente di tutto ciò è scontato, oggidì. La cucina è quella della tradizione ferrarese e, se si resta in quell'ambito (come noi) non ci sono sorprese. Tenendo conto del livello del locale, della qualità della cucina e della location splendida, nel cuore della Ferrara rinascimentale, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo.

02/06/2025: Comincio con una premessa: un ristoratore che risponde alle recensioni senza entrare nel merito delle critiche con risposte squallide, arroganti e vergognose del tipo "Vai a recensire i Burger King che è meglio!" oppure "Ma chi ti vuole? Te l'ho detto io di venire a cena qua?", fornisce subito chiari elementi su che razza di pseudo-professionista sia! Detto questo, eccoci alla cena del 31 maggio. Di soggiorno a Salsomaggiore per un "percorso" verdiano, mia moglie ed io ci lasciamo attrarre dalla suggestione esteriore esercitata da questo locale. Preso posto a un tavolo per due, ci vengono presentati Menù e Carta dei Vini stampati su fogli A4! Ordiniamo due antipasti di una banalità sconcertante (dei salumi e una torta salata), una misera porzione di gnocchi e una altrettanto misera di pasta e del vino. Niente secondo e niente dolci: 103€!!! (Ah, dimenticavo, ho preso anche un liquore 😬). Non sono così ingenuo e sprovveduto da non capire che il costo totale non può essere di 10€ come sarebbe stato a casa, ma alla decenza dovrebbe esserci un limite. Soprattutto, l'esperienza sensoriale e gustativa avrebbe dovuto essere più intensa rispetto a come gli stessi piatti vengano cucinati fra le mura domestiche, non il contrario come in realtà è qua! Chi millanta un livello di cucina elevato senza dimostrarlo nei fatti, finirà per fare i conti con la propria pochezza, un domani... Ma questo, evidentemente, poco importa a chi fa ristorazione con l'esclusivo scopo di fare cassa, facendo leva prevalentemente su turisti occasionali! Ho pranzato in diversi ristoranti in questa provincia, dove ho riscontrato un livello molto più alto in termini di maestria nella preparazione, nella qualità e quantità dei piatti proposti, pagando cifre spesso inferiori in modo anche significativo rispetto all'Osteria del Castellazzo (e nessuno di questi era un Burger King!). Vorrei inoltre sottolineare che le recensioni, positive o negative che siano, sono rivolte ai clienti, liberi o meno di farne tesoro. Se poi, a farne tesoro, sono anche i ristoratori (magari quelli dotati di onestà intellettuale e non quelli incapaci di accettarle con intelligenza e buonsenso), tanto meglio! Concludo dicendo che chi ha studiato Storia dell'Arte potrebbe diventare un buon insegnante o un buon critico (se non proprio un artista). Ma, di certo, per fare ristorazione a un livello davvero accettabile, sarebbe più opportuno una formazione accademica di carattere alberghiero. In cucina, la Storia dell'Arte può attendere 😅

08/05/2025: Ottimo ristorante con un menù vario (cucina bolognese tradizionale ma anche pesce). Per iniziare dopo un flûte di benvenuto offerto dal personale (molto gentile ed ospitale) antipasto di crescentine e poi passatelli fatti in casa al ragù bianco di faraona e piselli: buoni. Ho trovato un po’ stucchevole il secondo il flan di asparagi su crema di caciotta e zafferano, dove lo zafferano prevaleva decisamente sul formaggio (avrei gradito il contrario). Buoni i prezzi nella media. Bella la location esterna peccato non averne potuto beneficiare causa la pioggia.

29/03/2025: It could be a fantastic event venue. Contact, and prices from 55 to 200 per person, but when you choose the 55 badge, they tell you that the price is from 85 per person. A sudden price jump, sudden increases. I also called for two friends of the same sex, where we wanted to make a surprise, our wedding gift, as soon as they understood that they were two men, they torpedoed me from 55 € per person became 85 € we could do 55, it was written. Let's say that as professionals you should not have these preferences. Then they dismissed us saying that we would be in touch for other events....I DON'T THINK SO. When a business is HOMOPHOBIC with that it closes, forever. We are transparent about this.
