17/07/2026: We love this restaurant. The staff is very kind, professional, and friendly. The tomato and saffron pasta is delicious, and the fish (sea bass, scallops, and scampi) are absolutely spectacular. 16/07/2026: Terrible service. Ordered water and Coke, but they never arrived. When I pointed this out to the curly-haired waitress (who had been chatting the whole time with the table across from me, a family and a little girl), she made a face and looked at me furiously. As soon as I put my card on the card machine and paid, she stormed off, angrily, with a furious look on her face. The food was good, but the service was below par, but since that's not an option, Unspeakable!! I gave it one star!!!!!

02/06/2026: I've been frequenting this restaurant for years, and unfortunately, the constant changes in management have led to a significant decline in quality. The latest management, in particular, doesn't seem to live up to the previous ones. Table service is slow and inattentive, with excessive wait times and little attention to customers. Furthermore, many of the signature dishes that made the restaurant special (tagliolini allo Squero) have been modified or replaced, losing much of their charm. Another small but not insignificant detail: the waiters under the original management were elegantly dressed and well-groomed (under the previous management, they were in shirts and had a certain bearing). The pizza also disappointed me: not being cooked in a wood-fired oven, it's rather dry and flavorless. Finally, there's a noticeable lack of attention to the dining room and the overall ambiance, which appears less refined than in the past. The original owner's style is missing. I hope the management addresses these concerns and restores the restaurant to its former standards.

08/07/2026: I tried to dine here last night, but apparently the chef doesn't tolerate vegans and has no intention of welcoming them. I've never encountered anything like this before, so I had to get up and leave. It's a shame, because the place looked lovely, and the waitress was even kind. The restaurant is free to refuse to accommodate vegans, and I feel free to report it and leave a review of my experience.

18/07/2026: No, I'm not taking advantage of it anymore. 10 euros in cash for a 33cl beer and a shot of grappa, passed off as an after-dinner drink. Pathetic.

24/06/2026: Main meal of rabbit Roulade was overly salty and seemed to be missing other components as the excessive amount of very lightly marinated raw cabbage didn't complement it at all. It was a very disappointing meal. The service was the worst part though as it was incredibly slow with a spectacular ablity of the staff to avoid eye contact in order to get their attention to pay so we could leave - took over 30mins. Reasonable priced but not worth a visit in my view.

18/04/2026: The welcome and service were excellent, the appetizers were plentiful—you could finish them right away—and everything else was excellent. Leave room for dessert, because it's an experience worth trying.

Canasta in Riccione delighted us from the first moment – ​​a beautiful setting, a great atmosphere and extremely friendly and professional staff. The food was excellent, every detail carefully thought out, and the quality of the ingredients and presentation was at a really high level. Everything was delicious, fresh and prepared with a lot of attention. I would especially highlight the atmosphere – elegant, pleasant and relaxed, exactly what you expect from a restaurant in Riccione. The staff is friendly, unobtrusive and very professional, which makes you feel really welcome. Canasta is definitely a restaurant that I would recommend to anyone looking for great food, a nice setting and top-notch service. For us, this was one of the most beautiful gastronomic experiences in Riccione and we will definitely come back again. ❤️🇮🇹

16/11/2025: A restaurant with large seating in multiple rooms. The food is good and high-quality. There's a wide selection of wines. The service is efficient, fast, and well-organized. There's ample outdoor parking. The vaulted rooms are located inside the farmhouse and are clean and well-maintained. It's a very busy place; reservations are recommended. The only flaw for giving it 3 stars: the noise inside when there are several people is really loud and annoying, making it difficult to even talk at your own table. High prices.
