A casual place for simple people, but with good taste. Meat and fish dishes made by Sorrentines in Piacenza for 50 years. Affordable prices. Handmade Piacenza tortelli.

It's 3 PM and I'm walking around a sunny Piacenza. I see this trattoria and dare ask if it's still open for lunch. Outside, the sun distorts the light, and in this oasis, I eat excellent, spectacular ravioli di magro. They offer me a taste of spaghetti with clams (excellent... word of a man of the sea), a delicious baked coppa. The house wine is good. But what makes the lunch priceless is the hospitality of the old-fashioned families. I love this place, may the Lord grant long life to places like it. Eating is nourishing the body and soul, and here they are one.

Without offending anyone, the food is good and there's plenty of choice. Not typical of Piacenza. Recommended for a business lunch.

Very good food, exceptional service. Very friendly staff, especially Simona, who was always available to help with any needs. I felt right at home.

A magical place like I haven't seen since the 1970s in Milan's Navigli area, where you can sit and stay for hours chatting with the people at your table next to you, except that we're in Piacenza, which makes this even more impossible.

Osteria Vecchia Pergola

10/03/2025: Vera osteria con ambiente piacevolissimo, personale esuberante ma sempre molto cortese. Per fortuna i cibi tradizionali sono salvi e devo aggiungere che lo gnocco era ottimo, cavallo perfetto, forse il vino della casa un pochino "pesantuccio" ma questi sono gusti. Peccato che per noi sia un pochino lontano.
21/02/2025: Locale molto accogliente soprattutto le stanze sopra dove siamo stati , tipica cucina piacentina quindi d' obbligo la torta fritta come la chiamano qui (gnocco fritto o sgabei in altre zone) con tagliere misto di salumi: era perfetta la miglior mai assaggiata, pochissimo unta (meno di così penso non si possa fare visto che deve nuotare nell' olio) e asciutta voto 10, tagliere di salumi misti dalla coppa al salame alla pancetta e mortadella voto 9. Tortelli burro e salvia favolosi voto, 8 , carne di cruda di cavallo voto 8 , Ristoratori molto ma molto simpatici, sempre attenti e presenti voto 10 e lode. Prezzi validi voto 9. Totale nel complesso 8 1/2. Sicuramente da ritornarci
