17/11/2024: Raramente metto il massimo dei voti. Lo faccio quando una cucina accoglie la mia allergia ad aglio e cipolla senza essere stata avvertita (colpa mia) in maniera brillante. La tagliata di cervo che mi viene servita è tra le tre volte in cui ho avuto più soddisfazione nella mia “carriere” da cliente. Prego controllare il numero di recensioni. I tipi di pane serviti appena ci sediamo sono eccezionali. I miei commensali prendono pesce, cappellacci, uova al tartufo, salmone e si dicono stupefatti. Il dolce è un delirio. Torta di mele con gelato alla crema coperta da una cialda croccante. Tutti i piatti hanno le ceramiche calde mantenendo quindi il cibo in temperatura per tutto il pasto. Servizio professionale ed estremamente paziente.

15/11/2024: Ritornare a Quel Fantastico Giovedi è sempre un'ottima esperienza per il palato. Il locale si presenta sempre ben curato e intimo. La proprietà e il personale sempre professionale e cordiale; a tale proposito la ragazza che serviva ai tavoli ha percepito che era il mio compleanno, ce ne erano diversi quella sera, e con sorpresa molto gradita ha portato al nostro tavolo un dolce con candelina, pur avendo noi già mangiato il dolce.

But let's get to the table. Here you don't stop at just eating; you embark on a full immersion adventure made up of aromas, sensations and flavors that enhance the dishes. A symphony masterfully composed by Nicola and his staff in the kitchens and proposed by Giovanni in the dining room with his collaborators. As a layman that I am, the experience was nothing short of fantastic, enrapturing. The judgment - positive and at its most harmonious - originates first from the composition of the dishes offered, accompanied by the meticulous description of the punctual, precise and generous Giovanni who is also entrusted with the task of the drinks and the wine list (Excellent!!!); while Nicola deserves praise for the tidy, clean and above all tasty preparation of the dishes, which turn into true works of art. All this then accompanied by a thoughtful and never suffocating conversation, always focused and aimed at maximum customer satisfaction and satisfaction. In addition to recommending it, it is my utmost aspiration to return for other tastings - certainly pleasant - that Nicola, Giovanni and all their staff will offer in the already generous menu. Congratulations again.

24/11/2024: Finally in Ravenna we found a restaurant with truly refined and very good dishes. The service is also excellent, Giovanni and Luca are very kind and never forget to describe each dish in detail. It's an experience, absolutely worth trying!

17/11/2024: We finally managed to have lunch at this restaurant. Everything was excellent, from the location to the dishes and the friendliness of the staff. In very few places I give 5 stars, this is one of the few. We ate from appetizer to dessert and everything was perfect, passatelli with clams cream of oysters superb, the platter of raw fish was also excellent, octopus cbt... delicious, very tasty and delicate desserts, the wine list was also excellent.. .well done....

19/12/2024: Gita di qualche giorno ai castelli di Piacenza e Parma. Il ricordo più bello è goloso? La cena in questo locale. Gestito secondo me da veri professionisti della ristorazione. Un po' fuori dal centro ma è tutto così deliziosamente buono, curato e ben servito, in una atmosfera calda e accogliente!!!

11/08/2024: Fantastic dinner - well worth the short walk from the centre. The menu has plenty of options with regional specialties including four types of cappellacci di zucca, the Ferrara pasta hats stuffed with pumpkin. We had them with duck ragu and slices of fresh truffle - it was to die for. We also enjoyed tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, an aubergine, tomato and basil starter and a tagliata of beef with rocket and grana that was fantastic. We finished off with a very nice pistachio semifreddo and washed the lot down with their very drinkable house wine which is served by the glass or in carafes. Service was good especially the warm welcome from the chef who took time to explain the dishes to us. We really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back next time we are in Ferrara.

24/11/2024: In addition to being very beautiful, the place is at times reminiscent of a space odyssey, a memorable evening, where climate, music and comfort all look in the same direction. Table in the corner overlooking the pool at night. Rich and varied menu with beautiful land-based options too. The cuisine has solid foundations on territoriality, and winks at ethnic cuisine. The chef has a hand of great balance, a playful and captivating menu, from the Maitre to the girls it was a succession of pampering. Really good, with these standards they are close to the star.

09/12/2024: Il locale si presenta bene con un parcheggio non troppo ampio ma giusto per il numero di tavoli all'interno. Buona la cucina ma non sorprendente prezzi un filo alto ma conformi con la media attuale. Personale accogliente è preparato la proprietaria meno mi è sembrata distaccata in alcuni casi. Non è la prima volta che frequento questo locale, ho notato che nella vecchia struttura la cucina era di gran lunga più attenta è curata la differenza la noterete.

18/11/2024: Alexander is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. For the food, the service, the environment. You shouldn't expect standard dishes or traditional proposals, but for this very reason in my opinion it should be considered and appreciated. Excellent service without being intrusive, which in these types of places can sometimes be a problem. Super positive quality/price ratio.
