09/11/2025: The property, including its furnishings, is a bit dated; no smart TV.
Cold rooms, poorly functioning heating, even colder bathrooms.
Couples' stay: a couple of slippers.
Very noisy, completely lacking soundproofing.
Our room had a working whirlpool tub but no shower.
Breakfast was average.
We didn't report the aforementioned issues, so we can't comment on the staff's performance.
02/11/2025: We took advantage of a Smartbox package. The hotel is strategically located for visiting Padua, Treviso, and Vicenza. Due to a heating problem, we were given a suite. All the staff were courteous and professional, special thanks to Gabriella who went out of her way to resolve the issue.

11/10/2025: A unique show, beautifully organized by Lucanian director Giampiero Francese. It all began about 25 years ago, even professionally, for Lucanian director Giampiero Francese, who returned last year to direct the Cinespettacolo "La Storia Bandita" in the Grancia Park of Brindisi Montagna.
21/09/2025: La Grancia is my favorite place, if you don't visit it you can't explain it in words.

06/09/2025: A place with a beautiful view in Vellano, in the Swiss Pescia region. Authentic, homemade food. The first courses were delicious, especially the white wild boar sauce (I ordered the trio), and for the second course, the pigeon stuffed with sausage and potatoes was truly divine. The only slightly weaker aspect were the desserts, which we weren't entirely sold on (the torta della nonna and the fruit tart). Kudos to them for not having sugary carbonated drinks. I have to return for the fried foods and the rest.

19/10/2025: We had the opportunity to have lunch and dinner at this restaurant, and both times the experience was excellent. At lunchtime, we opted for the set tourist menus, and in the evening, we ordered delicious pizzas. Everything was delicious; the food was truly exquisite, so congratulations to the chefs for their great work! We also want to highlight the service, which was impeccable. The two waitresses who served us were always very friendly, attentive, and professional.
However, we'd like to share something we witnessed during dinner. A customer (we believe he was French, as we didn't understand him well) began yelling very aggressively at one of the waitresses, the youngest one, it seemed. He said rude things to her, yelled for no reason, and made unfounded accusations, while she, visibly upset, didn't know how to react.
It hurt us deeply to see something like that, because no one deserves to be treated that way, much less someone who is simply doing their job with respect and dedication.
And in fact, we decided to leave this review because, when looking at the reviews, we saw that that same customer probably wrote a very negative comment about the restaurant, which we find tremendously unfair and far from reality.
We want everyone to know that this restaurant is absolutely worth it. We recommend it 100% and send our best wishes to the girl who had to go through that difficult time. Thank you for everything!
17/10/2025: As you walk through the door, you notice the affordable menu prices, and we decided to stay for dinner.
They have just the right variety to suit everyone.
In our case, we opted for gorgonzola gnocchi and vegetable soup for our first course, and steak and Milanese cotoletta. Everything was very good, although it's worth noting that the portions aren't very generous.

03/11/2025: We were yesterday, Sunday 2 November, for lunch at this restaurant.... EVERYTHING EXCELLENT, in a welcoming, nice and simple place we were served and revered, GENUINE, ABUNDANT AND TRULY EXCELLENT dishes. It rarely happens to find yourself in similar environments, you feel at home and you eat in such a satisfying way. The owner is very kind and with his friendliness and speed made this lunch extremely enjoyable. THANKS AGAIN WE WILL BE BACK, STARTER 10, Fettuccine with Porcini Mushrooms 10, Fried Calamari 10, Zuppa inglese 10! The only downside, but it was Sunday.... the bread at the table was a bit old. DELLA XASA SPARKLING WHITE WINE 10! SEE YOU SOON!
30/08/2025: Tiny and picturesque situated in a narroew street, we had several servings of varying quality. The grilled ifsh was okay, and perhaps the veal steaks were better - they did look like it! Grilled Egg plant and Zucchini good, and the french fries standard. The spaghetti with mushrooms was delicious. More will follow ...

31/05/2025: Amazing location, super friendly staff and Marco is a fantastic cook. Worth a small detour from the via degli Dei and take a rest day by the lovely pool if you have time. There's a fishing lake down the hill you can catch trout for lunch at!

03/11/2025: I'm sorry to give such a low rating because the food is very good, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The waiter wasn't capable of managing a table of 15-20 people and immediately showed signs of being unhelpful, starting to pressure us from the very first minutes (by making a gesture of checking his watch). We couldn't have house wine except in glasses, or water except in 500ml bottles. When we asked for a wine list to choose from, the response was "I don't have any, I'll tell you."
One dish was wrong, and despite reporting it, the correct one never arrived. A bottle of wine was returned due to a strange taste (which wasn't present in the others), and again, the waiter made faces at us, refusing to accept our opinion.
A small mention of merit goes to some colleagues who were helpful in asking us if everything was okay. A terrible experience.
03/11/2025: Let's say 2.5 stars...
An ancient and charming inn from the late 19th century, located in the historic center of Pavia, right next to the city's cathedral.
Entering the restaurant feels like entering another dimension: tables and furnishings from times gone by, but at the same time, right next to the entrance door, there's a pinball machine... the question naturally arises: what the hell does it have to do with that place?... uh...
Then, entering the two small rooms—one on the ground floor, the other on the first floor—you feel like you're entering a flea market, where you can find all those knick-knacks from days gone by; it's certainly a way of showing off the fact that this is a historic inn. But, alas, too much can be bad, especially all those dusty glass chandeliers dangling above your head... maybe not?
The food, however, isn't bad, even if it's nothing special, and the staff is friendly and polite, if a bit aloof...let's just say the experience was definitely not a "wow!" experience.
Anyway, we ordered an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, with a bottle of water and three glasses of wine, and we spent more than €81. Not exactly a bargain, let's just say...

25/09/2025: Very rude staff and service. I asked the waitress if I could take a portion of ham to go: she said yes. Then a man at the bar started shouting that if I wanted ham, I should go to a store. Why can’t they sell ham for the price of a sandwich instead of treating customers this way?
23/09/2025: Ideally located near the Duomo! We enjoyed our snack! The prices are reasonable and the sandwiches are very good and high-quality!

Quick lunch just a few meters from the seafront.
Free parking nearby.
Touristy atmosphere.
Sparkling water and tagliolini with Ligurian-style rabbit and Taggiasca olives.
A good, plentiful plate of pasta. Well-seasoned, well-cooked. They advertise their fresh pasta. €19.50 is a more than fair price (it would easily be a first course for two). Not the pasta dish of a lifetime, but a remarkable product. Highly recommended.
Sparkling water in a purifier jug €3.00.... for that price, I would have preferred a bottle.
Cover charge €2.00.... no way.... A pack of 2 supermarket breadsticks, no oil, no bread, no Grana/Parmesan cheese for the pasta.
Up to this point, I would have given 4 stars for the pasta, -1 for the cover charge, and we would have been at 3.
Sorry points.
Service... the French waiter was kind and smiling, while the other waitress, with glasses and curly hair tied up in a bun (who continued the order), was very rude, almost annoyed. -1, and we're at 2.
To conclude, the worst part. When I ask the aforementioned waitress to pay, she tells me to wait at the table. I pay in cash, and she comes back with the change and no receipt (just a preliminary bill). She quickly leaves the table, turns around, and walks away.
This explains the overall rating.
It's a shame, because the pasta deserves a much higher rating.
13/09/2025: A good restaurant. They make their own pasta. Very tasty. The concept of the establishment is interesting: you can choose the pasta and choose the sauce (filling) for it. And, of course, you can choose nothing and order a ready-made dish. It's interesting.
I took tagliotelli carbonara. It seemed a bit dry to me. I would like more juiciness. But overall, very good. They also make homemade desserts. Delicious. And the portions are large.
I recommend!

12/09/2025: Excellent pizzas and a good beer selection. A very nice and quiet yet lively atmosphere, and very friendly service, which unfortunately gets overwhelmed when it's busy. However, the pricing is very attractive. All in all, a very successful evening.
08/09/2025: My experience at this pizzeria was, to say the least, unacceptable. I booked a table for seven people through The Fork at 9:00 PM on Saturday, but didn't receive any confirmation until 5:00 PM. So I arrive there around 6 PM, and the owner dismisses me with a curt, "We don't watch The Fork." (Okay, good, then delete your account.) Despite this, he assures me that reservations are possible and are indeed confirmed, with the option of dining outside.
At 8:55 PM, I arrive with my friends, expecting a table to be ready. Instead, before my eyes, a group of six people without reservations are seated, while we remain waiting. After ten minutes, I'm told to wait a little longer; twenty minutes later, the situation remains unchanged, and the answer is that we have to wait for someone to get up. Finally, at my fourth request to be seated, now at 9:30 PM, the waiter informs us that the table isn't available because—and I quote—"those two tables don't want to get up."
Now I ask myself: what's the point of booking if those who arrive without any prior arrangements are served before those who booked well in advance? This isn't a mix-up, but A total lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. Congratulations.
What can I say? I'll never set foot in there again. Best wishes to everyone.

09/07/2025: Locanda est situé dans l’un des plus beaux villages italiens que j’aie jamais vu, l’accueil de la famille est tout simplement phénoménal, prenez le temps de discuter avec le patron, quel bonheur.
Et le soir, nous avons mangé dans leur restaurant, c’est le fils qui est le chef. On est proche de la haute gastronomie.
