21/06/2025: La Trattoria Il Giardino è una vera istituzione a Firenze, un angolo di autenticità dove tradizione e calore si incontrano in ogni dettaglio. A rendere tutto ancora più speciale c’è Manlio, il gestore: accogliente, generoso, sempre pronto a raccontarti con passione ogni piatto e a farti sentire come un amico di vecchia data. Il menù è un inno alla cucina toscana: lo stracotto é morbido, saporito, cotto lentamente come vuole la tradizione. I pici al ragù’ sono un capolavoro, mentre la fiorentina è semplicemente perfetta: tenera, succosa e cotta alla perfezione. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, rigorosamente toscani, con proposte che esaltano ogni piatto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che onesto, considerando l’eccellenza dei prodotti e l’esperienza complessiva. L’ambiente è curato ma informale, perfetto per una cena tra amici, in famiglia o anche per un’occasione romantica. Il servizio è rapido, attento e sempre con il sorriso. Chi cerca la vera cucina fiorentina, con porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e un’accoglienza sincera, non può non passare da Il Giardino. Grazie Manlio, tornerò presto. E porterò rinforzi!

05/11/2025: A very beautiful restaurant with a panoramic view overlooking Lake Garda: generous and tasty seafood dishes and very attentive waiters. They don't have their own parking lot, but there are plenty of parking spaces outside the restaurant, and parking is easy.

31/10/2025: I went to celebrate a friend's birthday on Saturday because this restaurant had been recommended to us. We ordered 4 pizzas, 1 gnocchi, and something else. The pizzas were like we were eating cardboard, not to mention the ingredients, which were completely poor quality. It felt like we were eating a frozen pizza that had just been reheated, while the gnocchi seemed to be made of plastic, literally inedible. I have never eaten such disgusting food in my life. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The seafood specialties are varied and always surprising; it's clear that each recipe is born of experience, passion, and respect for the ingredients. The fine wines selected further enhance the dishes, and the pizzas—yes, even the pizzas—are prepared with care and flavor. And the homemade desserts? 09/09/2025: It was truly awful! The creamed cod is nothing special; making a plate of spaghetti allo scoglio taste terrible is a challenge. The basil pesto has a hint of basil...and a lot of cream! Highly recommended.

02/10/2025: This summer we had the pleasure of dining at the Leon d'Oro Restaurant in Canale d'Alba, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously crafted, perfect for making you feel at ease. A huge compliment goes to chef Irene, who showcases local products with balanced, creative, and authentically flavorful dishes. Each course was meticulously crafted, not only in flavor but also in presentation. A special thanks to Ilaria, the owner, and the head waiter, who welcomed us with professionalism and kindness: their passion shines through in every attention they give to their guests. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return: a place we recommend to anyone seeking quality, authenticity, and hospitality.

13/09/2025: I stayed at this property for an afternoon at the spa. What can I say? It was immaculately maintained and incredibly relaxing. Truly a gem! The outdoor pool (not heated, but even today, with the overcast sky, it was lovely) has a spectacular view of the Monferrato hills. End the day with a lovely aperitif in the garden. Everything was perfect!

11/09/2025: In general it is a nice hotel with a great restaurant. But there is still room for improvement. The location is a bit off from the hotspots but super quiet with a nice view, garden and architecture. The pool area is nice but one can tell that the adjacent rooms are to be modernized when compared to the stylish hotel and restaurant itself. The wine list is impressive and you should have ld definitely try their own wines. We grabbed a few for our collection at home. The staff is nice, the service super attentive and welcoming. They try to fix everything thar might arise. We stayed a week and enjoyed it a lot. It is also a great place for trips to Asti, Novara, Torino and more. The restaurant has a great quality of products and is super nice interior-wise. The rooms are a bit small, but they have almost everything you need. But there are a few things that we missed or did not like that much. For starters, they had shampoo etc. but no conditioner. That would be an easy win. The air conditioning is a bit weird as you cannot really get below 21 degrees celcius and it seemed to reset to some sort of default settings. This lead to a rather warm climate. Moreover, our air conditioning was pointed towards the bed so we felt the air all the time in bed. Not the ideal setup in my opinion. Another thing we noticed was that the pillows were not ideal. You could put two on top of each other, which would make them to high or only use one which was too low. I know that this is personal preference, but compared to other hotel beds this felt like a miss. On thing we noticed rather late was that our mosquito net at the window was broken at the bottom, which caused an influx of insects unfortunately. And our shower glass wall had a little defect - probably some guest smashed it against a wall or shower hose as the handling requires a bit of "training". The gym is also nice even though finding it wasn't that obvious - maybe set up some signage? And a desinfactant spray or tissue was missing plus a proper indoor bike. The bar has a lot of potential, which I hope the owners see and will lake use of soon. The Internet needs some improvement, but it was working most of the time. The spa is small but nice, but I can imagine that in bad weather or winter the space light be too small for all hotel guest plus day spa guests. But we enjoyed the stay, the warmth and professionalism and if we ever come. Back to the region we will for sure drop in and say hi.

Tucked away near Gianicolo Hill, it feels wonderfully local — the kind of place where Roman families gather for Sunday lunch and where every dish tells a story. The food is exceptional. I tried the amatriciana and saltimbocca alla romana, both cooked to perfection — simple ingredients turned into something unforgettable. The pasta was fresh, the sauces rich but balanced, and the portions generous. Even the bread and olive oil were top quality, setting the tone for a real Italian meal. The atmosphere is elegant yet unpretentious, with a cozy garden area perfect for long lunches or relaxed dinners under the trees. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely proud of what they serve, which made the whole experience even more special. If you want to escape the touristy restaurants and enjoy real Roman cuisine in a peaceful, authentic setting, Scarpone is exactly where you should go. A timeless classic that captures the true spirit of Rome.

21/09/2025: It was recommended to us by a guy who works at the bar in the square. It wasn't among the restaurants we'd selected, but it was a pleasant surprise. The pasta with truffles was truly exceptional, fragrant, and not at all chewy. The girls were also very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. We really enjoyed our stay.

15/06/2025: Ogni qual volta vengo a Lipari per vacanze, questo ristorante è una tappa fissa. Personale gentilissimo e molto preparato, piatti della tradizione eoliana rivisitati con maestria e delicatezza. Il gelato al rosmarino ormai è un must che non puó mancare! Mangiare in questo giardino curatissimo è un momento che ormai non può mancare durante le mie vacanze a Lipari. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Il cibo, di tradizione eoliana, è rivisitato ma non stravolto ed è superlativo dal primo al dolce . Impiattamento molto bello pur mantenendo porzioni abbondanti Ci ritorno da anni e non delude mai
